1. There's a box on the customs for you should tick if you're carrying large amounts of cash. I think the figure is > $10k though.

2. But is *is* stupid. Those inspectors are there *looking* for cash, and it may cause you problems on entry. Or it may just get stolen.

Paypal is the way to go. Set up a Paypal debit card. About a week before you leave transfer the funds you need to your paypal acct from your checking acct.

The Paypal debit card can be used at any ATM accepting Mastercard. Tne nice thing about it is that the Paypal card gives access only to your paypal acct and not the funds in your checking acct.

If I am not mistaken the transaction fee is $1.00 and there is a $300/day limit.

Just passed through here a couple of times on the way to and from Barranquilla, a couple of nights each time.

Hotels

Cosmos100 (Calle 100, Cra 21)

Cost was about US$90, taxes and breakfast included. There were some guest issues when I brought back my non-pro girl. After some discussion they let me get by with just a 3500 peso security fee. I think they may normally charge more. Breakfast was good. The rooms were a bit stuffy with only a very small opening on the window. There's a glass enclosed pool on the rooftop, together with a basic gym.

Suites Real 85

Cost 105,000 pesos. Breakfast is brought to your room. The room has a kitchen and sitting area. Bed was a little on the small side. Location is great, walking distance to Zona Rosa places. Totally guest friendly. Good value.

I only met one nurse girl here via Latin American Cupid. A bottle of wine and some Arab shisha smoking did the trick. With her around I had no incentive to look for pros or even other non-pros.

Does anyone have any information on X VIP Pompi on Calle 116 # 19-57? A friend of mine (who is a chick and who doesn't know about this site) told me that this is the place where many actoresses work for high dollar. We passed by it during the day on the way to somewhere else when she pointed it out so I could not check it out. She said something like 2.000.000 COP per night for drop-dead gorgous actresses and models. I did a search and saw not a report one on this place.

This same chick has a Colombian friend who works as a "presentor". She told me that a presentor is like a high dollar celebrity pip. She told me that he takes a percentage and makes good money. He told her that most celebrities in Bogota can be had for a pretty penny. I found this quite interesting. Has anyone heard the same?

I'm going to be in Medellín and Bogotá at the end of March and beginning of April. I think Semana Santa (Easter Week) will be happening then. How much will this get in the way of mongering? Will clubs and casas be open as usual the whole time?

Perhaps there are particularly good places to visit or good fiestas going on during this time?

Semana Santa, definitely a BAD time to visit for PFP in all of Colombia. Good time for vacation with the novias (girlfriends) :)

Basically Thursday April 5th thru Sunday April 8th will be dead in Medellin. The night clubs and the P4P's will all be closed. The only exception will be New Life which will be closed Good Friday and Holy Saturday but open on Holy Thursday and (surprisingly) Easter Sunday.

The boys at the Mansion/Castillo and probably VIP's will have something going on yje down days to bide the time.

Who knows, there might even be an Easter Nunny or two.

I have to say that Bogota has much to offer. I do like Cartagena,Cali and Medellin. However, BOG can hold it's own against all competition. Again we hit all the non-pro stuff early in the evening, Zona Rosa and Parque 93 are a must do. If you like beer, Bogota beer company has a great crowd and lots of hotties to view. I do speak Spanish, however in this place it is loaded with girls who can understand multi lingual personalities. We would go to Juan Pablos AKA Zhivagos Carrera 18 # 93A-83. It was awesome The prices vary, we went on Tuesday night, ( if you know the game in the big cities this is the best night in the business) the girl start saying 300K but in 2 minutes are down to 200k. We took the girls back to Suites Real 97. . We took girls on 2 consecutive nights from here and both nights the girls quoted 1 hour but stayed all night long. We did have the apartment set up with liqueur, beers and food, girls love that shit and believe we are sincere about them. The girls stayed all night however, I was actually waiting for the girls to get the fuck out! Isn't that what we pay them for????? I was amazed that all the BOG girls we encountered DFK'd and BBBJ was part of the program in our camp. Each night I would present the argument about them leaving after 1 hour, that would make an ugly discussion. All would tell me they were here only because they were in trouble financially and needed money for the month. I would ask if they were looking for short time or for a good time. Each girl argued the same. "Do you see any girls returning here after they have left with a client?" I had to answer "no!" That was the truth at Juan Pablos AKA..Zhivagos. Over all a great place for pay for scene. beers were about 10,000 peso...80K bar fine and we paid 200k for girls after crazy quotes. There is a large selection of girls, however my only problem is, it is dark and you cannot get a great feel for belly wounds or super stretch marks. I was victim one night. Thinking I had a super hottie only to see her in the light of the hotel..That I was downgraded by Johnny Walker, such is life with JW and rolling late night.

Night # 3.. Went to the La Mansion.....Giant house on Auto pista 117 and carrera 116 I think. However, all Taxistas know the local. loaded with lots of talent. We played pool for 3 hours and looked at all the talent before deciding. Beers were 16000 pesos $7.5 It is worth it to see some of the great talent that has migrated to BOG. We bought a bottle of tequila and did shots with all the ladies who passed or showed interest. Quotes start as high as 400k. However, all were @ 200K with little persuasion I must say 2 girls we spoke with said 300k for 60 min and would not move from that price. they left alone and we still tried to grab them at the door and they said "no problem ... for 300k"... Solid negotiators who don't have rent do the next day. We paid the 200K and met the girls back @ our place for another full night of slamming and drinking in Suites Real.

In short, BOG is awesome for our trade. Nice social life, events and great non-pro places. We had big time fun and hit many places listed on BOG Lists. We had a great guide from Suites Real 97 named Jose Alvarara # 57-310-480-3559. Spanish only with him. However, if you have a copy of the Bog list's you could point and pick and have no problem with Jose.

BOG has much to offer and all days and times are available. Visit and enjoy one of the emerald cities of Colombia......peace out....FLYJETS

Went to centro friday to check out... the Santa Fe area has lost its charm it used to be somewaht low profile but now with all the neon signs around there's a lot more places around La Piscina then there use to be just three years ago when La Piscina was the happening place in this area.

At La Piscina there's a consummible cover charge of 6k pesos, which buys you two cervezas. The place was not very busy. I guess people finally got fed up with the security guys and the overpriced girls in there. Same goes for Las Paisas which was good at one time. Maybe the new area to go is the Siete de Agosto part of the city.

A girl I was talking to while finishing my beers told me there had been a shooting a couple of nights earlier just outside the bar. Like always, be careful around this area as it can be very dangerous.
