I will be in SD in Oct without a wingman. I'm used to doing everything on the north coast. So I hope I can utilize the info I've gathered here and elsewhere to overcome my newbie ism in SD. I'm pretty sure I'm not an in house casa kind of monger, so I will probably find myself doing take-out, or going to clubs, or maybe check out the SW talent as well. Seems having your own transpo was extremely helpful too, especially for anyone who doesn't know exactly where the action is, or finds themselves all over the place. Even though I may have one hookup during my trip, I want to have a few days to do my own thing. In the north coast (Sosua) , I had a much better time when I didn't rely on a plan or already have a hookup. I think a possible drawback I may have, I am an early bird. I don't usually start going out after 12am. I would expect to be "hooked up" by then, and the chica leaving around 3 or 4 unless she was staying TLN. This is probably why I don't make it to Classicos in Sosua.

Driving in SD is a blood sport. It can be done but it is a serious matter. Very few traffic lights and many cars with DR drivers. In SD like most big cities cabs make sence. Sd is very different from the north coast I have seen nothing close to classicos. However if you are a casa guy SD can meet your need with a variety of casas. I try to wife up when in SD. Saves time and frustration.

Maybe split my time like many do. (spend some in SD & some in Sosua ).

When you need a pro you have to go with them. There are some very good pros whose numbers I keep in my phone.

Was in sd there in early March was at the parade great atmosphere going to book soon for the same time again, is it held on the first Sunday of March? Can't wait to visit gpb again was the highlight of my last trip hope it will be still open. Ole streit most of the hotels are guest friendly some have a guest fee if you look back at some of jaosousa or boricuaonline old posts should help out! I stayed at the jaguar apartments could be spelt wrong 50$ guest friendly close to some of the action! A guy I used to show me around said he'd get me a cheaper hotel for 35$ dolllars in el conde I think anyone know of this hotel?

I will be in Santo Domingo for two nights in November. I am new to DR and SD, so I would appreciate some guidance.
Since I'm only there for a short time, I don't have much time for trial and error, so where would be the best place (s) to go to find quality chicas? I had a bit of a read around this forum and the Internet, and information is sketchy at times. The casas sound a bit hit and miss, so I'm thinking a nice strip club or bar / club where the girls are available for other activities would be better. But I am open to suggestions.
I would also appreciate suggestions for a nice hotel. The ideal would be a nice hotel close to the place (s) above, so that it would be easy to walk there and maybe bring a girl back to the hotel.
Since it is such a short time, money is not an issue. I'm prepared to pay more for quality.

I'm in Santo Domingo right now, and I must say knowing some Spanish helps a lot. This trip is flowing so much better now. I'm not close to being fluent, but a good mas despacio or Lento helps me a lot.

I would go to one of the casas, because at least you have a choice of plenty of women until you find one that you like the look of. The casas are pretty much the same thing as a strip bar or bar / club in any case.
Going somewhere expensive or paying someone a lot of money to find you a chica does not necessarily produce better quality. If only. Under no circumstances tell any Dominican man or woman that money is no object. It may be no object for you, but it will definitely be an important subject for them.
