I'm not sure why..maybe just the luck or the unluck of the draw.

Next day spent afternoon in beer garden. Good selection of wgs but not very good quality. I was not interested in afternoon fun so went out, did some shopping, followed by a Thai (non sexual) massage).

At around 10:30 took a stroll on Sukumvit and adjoining streets. A few black wgs on the corner of Sukhumvit with Soi 3 (corner opposite McDonald). Met the Ukrainian ‘gynaecologist’ and the obstetric nurse and had a coffee with them in subway. Took their numbers and moved to the night club in the basement of Ambassador Hotel at around 11:30.

I thought this was quite fun so I ordered another beer and continued to let them shift gears till they border line pushed the corner for 700bht. I was not ready to release my magic just yet so I declined and left to see what the night has brought to my attention.

Went into cowboy 2 where a very pretty girl was and I bought her a LD and chilled out or tried to. The girl that got the drinks would not leave. Barked and Barked for me to buy her a drink and I clearly was not into her so I said no and gave her 20bht for a tip. Which was fine, because my later catch at NANA was AMAZING.

Had 3 nights in Bangkok, first went out to Nana which had a few punters but seemed pretty quiet. Thought I'd check out the Angelwitch vs Spankys debate.

Was very disappointed with Angelwitch, seems most of the ladys have a lot of baby-damage with c-sections and stretch marks. Plenty of girls about but very limited in terms of good looking ones.

The girls are complaining as too many girls in there, so there is less chance of finding a customer. This is spreading around and with the thought of lots of competition other girls are avoiding the place.

Its far better for a pretty girl to work in a beer bar where she can get money from drinks on top of bar fine and money for sex. And with competition fierce on the freelancer side (where the not so pretty ones are offering short time for 1000 (and sometimes less) and long time for 1500 in many cases) and with many customers going for price and the sex and ignoring the face (which always gets better with more beer).

The trouble is with more girls getting away with 2000B short time and 4000B long time charges. Its encouraging more of the pretty girls to go for go-go work.

Why anyone would want to pay a Thai girl 4000B for long time I have no idea, but then the world is full of people willing to overpay for what is often below par goods. Lots of 4000B "starfish" out there at the moment.

I go more and more for oil massage places now, its the best value for money, you can get a nice 1. 5 hour session for just over 2000B and that includes the room, a nice BBBJ, FS and a shower before and after and no extra tip is needed.

But as the Beergarden on Soi 7 goes, its a nice place for a drink and a "watch" and also the food is good. But as a pick up place the quality is lower than before.

Fri/Sat are the best nights. Mon/Tue the worst.

me, middle ground guy at the time that is just sitting down minding my own and watching the play unfold.

i was, if the truth be known enjoying my time watching the daily circus and to my shock a smart, clean and good looking women sat on the table behind me. now this has happened to me before in beer garden but with in 10 seconds the boyfriend comes in behind her. well she sat, i did the ten second test and no boyfriend. i looked more closely at her and asked her in my then bad thai, what’s your name, where you from, you want me buy you drink? the answer was, nok isaan, yes. i’m in, great.

i was not known then for knowing hotels too much so i asked her and she advised i think it is called “the park plaza hotel” which is in-between soi 11 and 9. 1200 all night, it was about 9pm and we could stay until 12 the next day plus she explained to me they had a quite busy 24 hour cocktail lounge downstairs. we checked in, including them checking her id. we walked up to our rat infested room with bare wires hanging out of the wall and a tv that had an intermitted 10 second bang once it had been on for 5 minutes.

i was to find out the hard way that each room regardless of occupancy level comes with one lone towel. well my ladies towel was now wet so i needed one. to the phone at the side of the bed. i picked it and dialled 0 to find that it was dead. i then pulled out the furniture that the phone was places on to find out that the phone cable was not plugged in. i plugged it in and put the phone to my ear to receive a refreshing electric shock, not a bad one but one nevertheless. putting my clothes back on i then made my way to the lift and found a phone, which i first checked with my hand that i did not get an electric shock then put it to my ear and dialled 0. i got reception. i asked for a towel which i am sure you all figured out the reply “what towel mean, i no understand” lucky me, i knew then the thai word for towel and i asked again. ow ow ow we no have all finished. bollocks!! off i went to reception in person

not knowing thai culture yet i went in on fire, really pissed, i was that us customer from hell that you have all seen in the middle of a public place’s just loosing it over a tiny thing that most people would just ignore. i started screaming at the top of my voice, what a pit this place was and how much i hate not only this hotel but all hotels in bangkok now. this did not go down to well as i am sure you all understand but it did get me noticed and in fact did get me somewhere even though it was not what i wanted to hear. i was told that all towels where finished for the night but if i wanted one then i can pay for one to be washed at room laundry rate and one with be with me in 10 minutes. fuck it!! i will shag the ***** dirty. i stormed to the elevator and in my anger pressed the wrong floor. i was actually going down to the service level. when i arrived the door opened, it looked so bad i think the service level needed a good service, the smell was disgusting, it was so damp the roaches where going around on rafts. then i saw it my holy grail, a maids truck and there was a pile of new clean towels, well as clean as i think they could be in that pit. i took about 500 towels i think, ok i have been told billions of times i exaggerate so maybe not 500 but as many as i could carry. to the room i went. i stormed in, ripped my clothes off, threw all the towels on the bathroom floor, had a shower and rolled around in all the towels making them all wet and dried myself off, decadence yes? actually no but it made me feel better.

i am in the bed waiting for my what i wanted to be a cooling none stressful and relaxing shag. this is where i got it wrong. the strange conversation turned to lost boyfriend crazy psycho ***** conversation, and on close inspection of her eyes i then noticed that her pupils where the size of phobos. mmmmmm i have a problem here. first i tried the, i have to go and get my pubic hair pieced and my navel hair premed but this did not go down so well as crazy bird started threatening to kill herself if i left. i stayed, i also tried some other ways out but all of them ended up with the same or similar replies. i’m stuck. i thought, well if i just talk to her over time the pills she took will wear off i hoped. i got the stories of her boyfriend that according to her owned one of the biggest discos in the world and was a billionaire and he messed up her life and forced her to take drugs and she does not do it anymore ye right, lost children, lost money, lost poodles the story went on. as i am sure you all remember i started this story with i was very tired in the first place and now matchsticks reinforced by the star ship enterprise dythium crystals could not keep my eyes open. as my head dropped forward for the big nap i heard her voice say, i killed my boyfriend before in his sleep and i eat him to hide the body, now i can not go back to my home town. wow no need for that star ship enterprise thingy anymore, i was fully awake. the story went on about her being on the run and she killed him because he showed her no attention in bed and he was not nice to her and did not listen to her talk. shit brown stuff time.

i am in a sticky place here. i am sure i could have put my clothes on stormed out and thought “fuck her” but then the problem was and remember i had only been in thailand for 2 years max at this time, what would have happened if i left and she accidently on purpose brutally chopped her own head off whilst combing her hair. i could see the front of the bangkok post now, stupid westerner killed a women whilst shaving and now is in prison for 9 billion years and is a dumb ass.

now i did get out of this situation unrep001hed in the end. what i did was waited up all night and morning until the staff outside was calling us to leave, once i heard this, i jumped up opened the door and asked the member of staff to take all the still wet mountain of towels in the bathroom out, which he did and while he was doing it i put my clothes on left 1000 baht on the side and ran.

this was the final nail in the coffin for the beer garden for me. no way. no how, never can happen again, i do not go in and even if my best pal mate thingy in all the world begs me to take him to the beer garden “no chance”.

1 year later i am in a disco in rca and guess who i see chatting to a nice young fresh western fish? yes that’s’ right psycho girl from hell. what would you do?

well i left him to it, everyone has to learn somehow and that experience helped me in many of my future adventures in bangkok, pattaya, angeles city, manila and rio

Decided to go to Noveotel CM2. As I have nothing to do I reached there at 8:55pm. No one asked for entry fee but only the bar was open. At 9pm they opened the shutters of the main hall and I assume they start charging entry fee after 9pm. Corona bottle cost BHT 220.

Met the Turkish that I took from Grace Hotel but she wouldn’t agree on anything less than BHT8000 for full night. I asked a blue eyes curly blond haired Kazak. She asked for BHT 5000. I joked that on per hour basis they are earning more than me. Either, she didn’t understood the joke or for whatever reason she got upset and refused to go. Some from the Grace Hotel were also there.

A CIS approached me asking for light and started chatting in the smoking room. She was from the east coast of Russia and agreed on BHT 5000. She went to say good bye to her friend and offered me a duo for an additional BHT1500. Not keen on two I asked her to come alone.

On our way back to the hotel we had some nice intellectual discussion on global impact of October 1917 Russian Revolution and fallout of Perestroika and the new geo political realities in Central Asia. I was really happy to find out a wg with some brain although I regretted that later.

In the hotel, the chat continued and after a few drinks she told me that she is not feeling well, she is desperately in need of money and she wants money on purely humanitarian basis. At the end she agreed to leave with BHT 3000 although she was asking for BHT 7000 (her monthly rent). Before leaving she gave her email address and told me she had just found a friend. If I feel the same, I should keep in touch and we are still chatting on emails.

This could be a simple emotional black mail or like many of us, a day off on full pay as sick leave. I would greatly appreciate your comments especially if you have a similar experience.
