The main purpose of this trip to the Philippines is basically on business. So during day time, I am pre-occupied with meetings and also on some gov't. Docs papers that I will not elaborate further here.

Citistate tower hotel is just find. They have the cheaper rate of 1750 for standard roomn without windows, as they are located in the middle of the building. And at that time, its fully booked. I took the superior premium cost 2600+ incl of 2 breakfast + 1 hr free internet. There is no safety boxes in the room, I find this out after I check in. So I did not put my valuables in the room but at the downstairs where they have general safety boxes. So I did not bring my camera with me as I am afraid if I fall on slepp, things might be stolen. Sorry no picture.

Where I eat? In the morning with my associates, I also eat in some small restaurant like the chowking at the baxk of my hotel, inside Robinson malls (during night) , other than this, I also went to Mall of asia where I reported to meet the girls in DIA who turns our too far from her picture posted there.

I still have few more DIA girld in line but I am trying to find the time to meet them and if ok, I may go for some ST or perhaps LT. But tommorrow, I will be going straight to AC (in case, no sudden changing, as I am waitng some govt paper to be approved, as this is the priority)

In case of Marquee Mall you just look for the jeepney to SM Clark. It's another booth right next to the bus stop and 12ps or so.

Dau, you can take a trike right there, don't pay more than 50ps. Or you walk out, go left and cross the street at the fuel station and hop in a jeepney. I usually give 10ps, sometimes I get 2ps change, sometimes not, who cares. Get out of the jeepney when you at McDonalds. It's at the end of Fields.

To Fields it's from Dau roughly 1. 5 kilometers, with light luggage you can even walk.

If you get into a confrontational situation, walk away fast. Don't ever fight back. Grab the closest taxi you can find. Doesn't matter where you are headed, just get away from the trouble spot. Also, remember, you can always make money. You can never get your freedom or life back once you lose it.

Customs officials will ask a lot of questions if they see something wrong, something fishy. I've have had the same problems getting into India, belive it or not. Answer all your questions as brief as possible. Do not evade. Do not offer anything more than what is asked. Do not banter with immigration or custom officials. They get suspicious. Do not ever be a smart mouth. You do that, and you will sitting there for another hour or two. I was a smart alec, coming into San Francisco, and the moron immigration officer sent me to the longest customs line, and then he came to that customs line, went through every single thing in my bag. He didn't miss a thread.

What I am trying to say is, it is not racial. They saw something in you. You may have looked suspicious. There was something there, that they picked up on.

Always remember, you are in someone else's country. Respect them.

I had planned it a smooth ride. Ph is still a closely guarded destination as many people don't come here as they believe what they see and read on Media regarding violence etc. But if ever they come here and meet Filipinos. People need to understand that MBC is a freelance joint where the girls will demand whatever they feel they can get from the customer while the customer will try best to get it for less. If you go in there start buying drinks and be nice to them you will not get any favours back infact expect them to start the bidding at say 5-6000. Then I procede to my target one tell her I was going to take the girl I was talking to unil I saw her. The girl agreed to 1500 if she is ok with that we go right now. It almost always works. Similar questions were asked to me at the Mumbai airport as if they were the ones paying for my trip. The lady reluctantly stamped my passport as if she hated to see me go to paradise.

Before only CEBU PACIFIC airlines asked for it when checking in but for the FIRST TIME EVER I got asked for mine by Tiger (SEA AIR) in Singapore last week. I didn't have it printed but I knew the date, time and airline after which they checked and put on another slip on my ticket that was to act as my outgoing ticket in case I got asked for it by imigration in Manila. This is my 9th trip this year and I have done in access of 60 over the years. They maybe becoming stricter with Christmas approaching.

Went yesterday to a massage parlour in China town located inside the kindome hotel (forget the full name of the hotel). Take #236. Inside room, take off cloths, shower me, mechanical fuck, after finished, some nonsense massage and then pay. Charge: admission (room and so so massage: p1000 + p1000 for the f service. Will not return unless needs some quick draining.

I told him 20 days. He looked again at my itinerary, then said: "It appears 22 days sir. You have to have another ticket out. Are you flying out on another airline during your stay? Do you have an extended filipine visa?" Crap! Did I miscalculate my dates? He showed me the itinerary, and by my calculation it was 20 days. I asked him to count the days. He looked worried, and it made me worry: would they deny me boarding the KA flight? He literally called a supervisor, they looked over the itinerary, then their computer screen, then the supervisor pulled out her cell phone, pulled up a calendar, and they counted the days: exactly 20 (I never fly out on the 21'st day, in case of delayed flight, etc). Whew! My point is, they were looking over the visa-less kano itineraries to make sure they didn't go over 21 days. I'm wondering if the airlines who fly tourists in get into trouble with the pilipine government for customers who are overstaying their visa?

May be in a month or two the immigration gets couple of stamps for PH. The lady immigration officer probably was pissed at her job or something. As she asked unrelated questions like why I have not got married for so long, why I'm still single, why I'm making frequent trips to the PH when 0. 0001% or less Indians know if such a place exist in the world. Something like that. She was surprised I stayed in the PH for so long. I'm a Christian not muslim or hindu.

Before only CEBU PACIFIC airlines asked for it when checking in but for the FIRST TIME EVER I got asked for mine by Tiger (SEA AIR) in Singapore last week. However, as I mentioned, besides the return ticket, I was also asked to show my hotel voucher at both PH and Indian immigration which never happened before and yes they matched my date with the flight and check out and I thank my stars I did that but I only got 14 days visa instead of 60 days as usual. So I have to go to intramuros to sort this out. Thanks
