In the last couple of months I didn't have a chance to visit any massage shop sadly, but few days ago some friends from my country were visiting Bangkok and one night I showed them around Soi Cowboy.
We spent about 1 hour in Suzie Wong from 11pm until midnight. (on a weekday)

Even if maybe the normal gogo price is 2000 baht for ST and the 3000 baht was intended for a 2 hour session, there is still a lot of difference compared to the 2300 bath needed for a 2 hours session in a oily shop.
Of course this is probably mostly the point of view of people with limited money available for mongering. If I had more I would certainly try the gogo scene more and the more upscale massage parlors too.

I have found that Thai girls regardless of when the started having sex, seem to really blossom in their late 20s and early 30s. Girls that dance disco style in gogos are not showing a "sexiness" exactly. Slower style of sensuous dance is more sexy. This can be difficult if the music is all wrong.
