So he's midle aged, smokes like a chimney, drinks like a fish, is overweight (looking pregnant) and probably gets very little aerobic exercise-even the horizontal stuff. Sounds like he may need a personal nurse. Now I know someone who will be nearly qualified by next Jan and who has an up to date Senior First Aid and resus certificate. All he would ask would be free board, free BFs, a free girl a night and a free lunch, but then again, there's no such thing as a free lunch. Maybe I should tell G about my 'friend'?

Have been staying at the Lodge for three days, so feel confident in posting a report since it is also my first stay in the establishment.
Livingstone's Lodge is a small boutique style of hotel, rather than the boring (imo) Hilton or Accor types that my employer puts me in when he is paying. (I figure that I can go visit their grand hallways and lift lobbies for free if I want that sort of stuff). Livingstone's is clean and comfortably set up, with modern appointments in the airconditioned rooms.
It is not the Peninsula in Hongkong, or Raffles in Singapore (both of which I have stayed at), but it is far better than many three star hotels in Europe that I have stayed at as well without problem.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
There is a swimming pool which is well maintained, as well as an airconditioned bar stocked with beer, pool table and wide screen.
There is also an outdoor eating area where you can get some reasonably priced Thai and western food.
The location is close to massage parlours and bars on Soi 33 within a few minutes.
The only downer is that the Lodge is behind a couple of other buildings, so that the entrance is cramped and cluttered. Not anything that management can do about that, but for potential customers, I would suggest ignore the entrance and make your decisions based on what is inside.
It is a good option for newbies who do not wish to have any hassles in getting ladies, food, drink, comfortable reasonably priced accommodation on their first trips. Also, if you find you like/love the place, then obviously you will come back too.
On my first night, I went to the sports bar, and there were some ladies there who were quite nice on the eyes and pleasant to talk to. The one I wanted though, tried to charge me 3700 Bht for a short time, so I smiled and passed before walking five minutes to Love Teen Massage down the Soi. There, I met an equally charming young lady who relieved my tensions for 2100Bht short time. Again, one of the advantages of this location is that there are plenty of options for someone needing to unload his tensions.
From what I see posted previously, management here has taken the first step in reforming the in house ladies - so my comments on them are for interest only.
Finally, it is close to the Skytrain, which gives you further options either for checking out Bangkok, going to a couple of big malls, further mongering down the road at Nana. The Skytrain is easy and cheap to use as well as airconditioned - you will save 15 taxi minutes, not to mention a few Bht by using this to go to the mall.

As for the nurse, man, your heart is at risk, the last thing you need is continiously raised blood pressure. You have, or at least used to have, plenty of attractive girls around you to keep that BP elevated, so a calm, steadying, low BP influence is what you need, and remember, no hard cash, just board, food BF and free sex. I don't se that Mr Giotto is all that busy. As the owner, he has others to do the real physical hard work :-) Anyway he would need to conserve energy for young wives.
However the stresses of 2 wives must be making him mentally tired or in a not so good mood as Giotto puts it, even if he can get a really superior shag regularly.
I am attempting reconciliation with my GF so playing up with 2nd GF/wife is probably out of the question right now. I may still get a chance to visit the sports bar, as I miss Miss J quite a lot, but one never knows when I can yet a chance and can't afford to be actually seen playing up.
Its really tough when I like several girls immensely but cannot be with all of them concurrently and they cannot accept the multiple GFs approach.
For now, I am sadly on my best behavior.
Looking for a relatively stress free existence.

Well, I apologise for implying that you don't get enough horizontal exercise, but from what has been said here it's hardly fat burning.
I also get the distinct impression that you don't want me to come to your establishment. That being the case, and despite you, I will go there, but you will not know who I am or when I am staying, so you're going to have to be on your best behaviour until my report appears in print.

Am trying to research the parlours rather than the bar scene (though I did get fall for a girl for a ST in Soi Cowboy). Bangkok has a good reputation for massage parlours that I figured was worth doing some research on. I have read your extensive report and have been using it as a good guide for where to go. (Although I still have not figured out where Tulip is ;) What is the nearest Skytrain station?
Btw fyi, I was recently in Bratislava (Pressburg) and there were posters up all over the city for an exhibition "Giotto v Bratislave"...you are famous in the Slovak Republic obviously.
