Pinays are so desperate to snag a man, I can see them giving it up for free now and then, esp to a handsome young guy. But you didn't mention if they were bar girls on reg girls.
Patt so expensive, I can't see him getting action for free too many times when a woman obviously is sorrounded by paying farang. As far as quality, that depends on your taste in women. My 5 is your 10? I have found myself walking quite far and looking in beach Road and second Road beer bars for my type, (cute, big tit, decent ass, long hair) and passing much talent by.
Trust me on this though, you will have fun!
Thanks, I appreciate the responses, and I'm glad to know the rain doesn't dampen the whole scene too much.

Can anyone recommend a very thin condom in Patt pharmacys? Am by no means packing heat, so Magnums won't do.
Usually bareback with my ever ready steady, but will certainly ditch her a few times. In Patt next week, any one wish to swap.

Bring your own. Jackoff with a few different kinds to see which one you like best and want to bring with you.

I never leave home without them now. It's super thin 0. 02mm and you will thing you're bare backing. Freaks the girls out and you will never BBFS again. I buy mine online shipped from Japan to US but seen them in Thailand at least in Bangkok.

Hello everyone,
First time poster, long time lurker. I am pretty knowledgeable about my local scene here in the US but I've never been to LOS. I actually learned about P4P when reading forums like these about LOS a few years ago. I once planned a trip a while back but I had a couple of setbacks here in the States that prevented me from actually making the trip. I totally missed out on a great opportunity back then because that's when things seemed to be at their peak and the exchange rate was $1 = 40 baht. Now it's around $1 = 30 baht, so it seems like prices have effectively increased 25% since then.
A little about myself, I am an Asian-American in my upper 20s. I am pretty athletic and fit. I have an easygoing attitude and I generally get along with most people as long as they're not complete assholes. I'm fluent in English, semi-fluent in Mandarin Chinese (doubtful that would help me out in Thailand though) , and I'm trying to learn as much Thai as I can before my trip. I suppose that knowing Chinese helps a little for learning Thai because it's also a tonal language and the sentence structure for both languages are simpler than it is for English. I've read reports from others saying that they had a great time even though they speak zero Thai so I'm not too worried. I just think I'll have a better time if I take some time to learn the language. A big part of it for me is not just learning how to speak the language but also to be able to understand. I would rather that the girls assume I don't understand Thai at all so they can freely express themselves and maybe I'll be able to pick up on what they're saying (in case they're saying something they don't want me to know about).
Enough now with the rambling, my trip is scheduled for Nov 23-Dec 10. I would've preferred to go during low season but was too busy with work. I contemplated waiting until the next low season but decided that I didn't have the patience to wait. I've already put off one trip before and missed out so I won't make that same mistake again. Besides, I can always try to make another trip this summer if I plan well right? Anyways, took the plunge and bought the plane ticket last month to commit myself. Now I am researching and preparing for my trip and to be honest it has been quite an overwhelming but exciting task.
I've got my passport ready and updated my vaccinations. I'm covered for Hep A, Hep B, Flu, Polio, Measles, and Typhoid. I know to purchase condoms from home since they are what I'm familiar with. I still need to purchase a Thai-English Dictionary. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive ($100 or less) electronic dictionary or should I just buy a paperback dictionary? I already have a well recommended book, 'Thai for lovers' which seems to have a lot of useful phrases. I still need to figure out how to access cash during my stay. I would like to be able to use my debit card from Wells Fargo but I don't want to have to pay fees from my bank. I think I read somewhere that PayPal debit cards were good and so were Visa debit cards (when excluding the initial fees). Can anyone provide some guidance?
I will have 16 days on the ground. I plan to spend the fist 3 in Bangkok and the rest in Pattaya. In Bangkok I'm staying at the Majestic Grande and I still have to make reservations in Pattaya. I want to try out 2-3 hotels in Pattaya so I can compare them but I'm reluctant to reserve ahead of time because I don't want to have to pay in advance. I'm hoping to be able to have the freedom to walk into any hotel to check-in but that may be wishful thinking considering that this is high season. Would you guys recommend that I make solid reservations for my time in Pattaya since it will be during high season? My research has narrowed down the Vault, the Whitehouse Condotel, and the Penthouse. The Vault is well recommended by experienced mongers and I emailed the owner, Mike, to check on the rates for high season. They seem reasonable and the owner seemed pretty cool. I don't know much about the Whitehouse Condotel but I've seen it recommended a few times and after checking out the website I like how the room and especially the bathroom look. I've read that the Penthouse can be a bit wild and in your face in the lower level rooms but I don't mind. I'm a fairly young guy looking to have a good time while holiday so that kind of atmosphere actually seems pretty attractive to me. I'm very interested in having a private in-room hot tub that can fit 2-3. I think the penthouse rooms at the Vault may have that available but I'm not sure about the other hotels. Anyone have any recommendations for other GF hotels that would have this feature? I'm trying to keep it to $150 (4500 baht) max per day for a hotel.
I'm budgeting $300 (9, 000 baht) a day to cover everything: hotel, food, girls, transportation, entertainment, pharmacy, etc. It's doubtful that I will spend that much everyday especially since I don't smoke or drink. I would just rather have the money and not need it than need it and not have it. Besides, I've waited years for this and I feel like I need to treat myself. No need for lectures, I already know that I shouldn't overpay because it will ruin things for others. I myself plan on making more trips in the future so I wouldn't want to spoil things for myself either. I expect that since I look Asian I will probably always get quoted higher end prices and will have to use my charm to negotiate down. I will research more about rates when closer to my departure since the current rates are low season rates.
My preparation might seem a little over the top, and for a first post I admit this is a little bit long. I'm just very excited about my cherry trip and I want to make sure I have a good time without getting ripped off. If anyone wants to add anything or provide advice I would really appreciate it. Like other newbies I have lots and lots of questions. I haven't even gotten into the activities that I would like to do once I get there but that will have to wait until another time since I'm getting tired now. Thank you in advance for any information provided.

A bit of information for you. (Perhaps other mongers will add more answers to your questions.)
If you want to stay at a specific hotel then you should make a reservation. But, even in high season you will always be able to find a vacancy somewhere!
Whitehouse Condotel. A well run, mid range hotel in a good location. The owner is a Brit. No problems to take one girl back but if you take 2 back together then they require an extra payment.
Do not worry about speaking Thai too much. OK, a little will help you but many mongers do very well with NO Thai language skills.
If you want a Thai / English dictionary then an electronic or paperback one can be bought there for MUCH less than outside of Thailand. I think that paperback ones are available from around 200 Baht.
Re cash. I just take US$ or Euro and change as and when required. Most hotel rooms have a safe so you can keep your cash there. You will get a much better exchange rate in Thailand than outside!
5th December is the Kings birthday and many places 'may' be closed. But don't worry, there is ALLWAYS a playmate or two available EVERY day!
It looks like you have done your groundwork so just relax and enjoy. (I do!)
Hotman.
Good report and well prepared for your trip it looks like. I will be in Bangkok and Pattaya the same time as you. Our paths will cross in Pattaya, but at the end of your trip. The last 3 days for you. I have been to Pattaya and Bangkok a few times before. If you would like some advise or help with questions just send me a PM. I am not totally the guy to talk to, but I do have experience in Thailand.

Even if you speak Thai, many girls will speak among each other in their local Isan dialect which is quite different.

Can anyone provide some guidance?
Debit cards and credit cards all work at the ATMs, but there is a 150 baht fee added for each transaction, plus any fees your local bank charges. It is best to reserve your credit card for hotel and restaurant payments and bring cash (dollars or euros) and use one of the many exchange offices you will see everywhere. As usual the exchange rate at the airport is not very good, so exchange only for a few thousand bath to cover your first expenses (like taxi, bus, train, perhaps some drink or food). Large bills get a better exchange rate. I brought 500 EURO bills and got quite a good rate.
I don't want to have to pay in advance.
http://booking.com
Doesn't charge anything in advance and operates a very liberal cancellation policy. Consider taking a hotel in a bit quieter neigbourhood. Pattaya is rather small (at least the "interesting" part is) and everything is within easy baht-bus distance. You do not have to be in the middle of the monger area all the time. You will wear yourself out in a few days!
I expect that since I look Asian I will probably always get quoted higher end prices and will have to use my charm to negotiate down. Non-Thai will not get access to the "Thai only" prostitutes, so the "farang" price is the only price you will ever be quoted and then it is up to your negotiating skill. Mind however that if you bargain it down to the absolute minimum, you get a minimal service only too. A few hundred baht makes a world of difference for these girls and being a "cheap charlie" is considered very bad form in Thai society.
Dictionary? Wasted luggage space. I guarantee you will never pick it up. Forget all of that. Just bring money.
Now that I think about it you are probably correct. I probably wouldn't use the dictionary enough to justify the effort in purchasing it. The book that I already have seems to have most of the phrases that I think I would need. Good call.
There is no such thing as low season. Pick any day of the 365 and there will always be thousands more pussies than you could ever hope to stick your dick in.
I do agree that the abundance of women in general makes any day of the year a good day to monger. I just wanted to go during low season because of the benefits associated with visiting that period (cheaper rates, less mongers, etc) but to be honest, I wouldn't turn down a trip to LOS no matter what time of the year it is. On the bright side, the weather is supposed to be better during high season so I'm sure that things will be in high gear by the time I arrive. I figure that jumping into the scene right in the thick of it isn't a bad way to start out my first trip.
Much respect for your advice Mr. Enternational. I appreciate your taking the time to help out a newbie like me.
If you want to stay at a specific hotel then you should make a reservation. But, even in high season you will always be able to find a vacancy somewhere!
I'm thinking of starting out my first 4 days at the Penthouse, and ending the last 4 days at the Vault so I will probably need to make a reservations for these places. For the 5 days in between I think I'll just walk around and find a place.
Re cash. I just take US$ or Euro and change as and when required. Most hotel rooms have a safe so you can keep your cash there. You will get a much better exchange rate in Thailand than outside!
I considered bringing cash but I'm a bit wary about carrying so much money at on me at once. I guess I'll just make a few transactions at the ATMs for large amounts and eat the fees in exchange for peace of mind. In the whole scheme of things I don't consider 150 baht to be too big a fee.
5th December is the Kings birthday and many places 'may' be closed. But don't worry, there is ALLWAYS a playmate or two available EVERY day!
I read about this before and was expecting things to slow down on that day. By then I should know my way around a little and hopefully I'll have plenty of phone numbers to call.
It looks like you have done your groundwork so just relax and enjoy. (I do!)
I intend to have the time of my life. Many thanks for the advice.
