Hi, do the large chain hotels, like JW Marriot, Hilton, etc. ask the lady for ID and have her register when you have an outcall or bring a FL back to your hotel room?
I understand it is Bangkok and this happens all the time, but I just want to avoid that process and have a "walk of shame" right at the front desk.
Best to contact the hotel in advance and ask.

The Ambassador Hotel which is across from Aloft has two towers, right tower is cheaper price so will ask for the ID and pay extra when you bring a guest, however if you booked at the left tower which is more expensive, they don't.

At that time they had the ideal system. A guard was stationed just outside the elevator lobby and he collected lady IDs and refused to return them until after you confirmed via room phone that everything was cool. There was no charge for this service, but I always tip whoever is collecting the ID.
I stopped staying at certain hotels because it was awkward to drop her ID with reception or security. The collecting of ID is for your protection and I encourage people to use that service.
Now is a good time to remind punters to meet your freelancers in the hotel lobby, don't let her come directly to your room until you have confirmed you are getting the product that you ordered. It's a lot easier to confront a scammer in the lobby than it is to confront her in your room.
IMHO, the walk of shame is not a thing in Thailand.
the walk of shame is not a thing in Thailand.
I call it the Walk of Pride. I've had many security guards pat me on the back or give me the thumbs up when they see the gogo girl I have for the night. Take pride in how hot your girl is guys. Be proud she said yes to you cause the hottest girls DO NOT say yes to everyone.
