Help wanted in Taipei (plus small report)
Taipei experts, a couple questions for you (to the benefit of any traveler):
1. Are there any good late night places left in Taipei? Last time I was here Vibe was rocking at all (late) hours, but it seems to not exist anymore (am I wrong)? Any place where one can go at say 2am or 3am to party in Taipei?
2. What are the best bars/location to reliably find working girls? I've read and searched up and down this forum and cannot find a definitive/clear answer to this question. There's got to be some places here that regularly have WG's, no?
Small report
Went to Shuang Cheng area around 3am. Scene totally sucked. Taxi driver told me it's not really for waiguoren, but more for locals. Girls in two bars were 100% indifferent to me, and in another bar just told me they were closed (although they obviously weren't). Felt a bit like Tokyo, with the enormous "however" that the girls were also skank ugly. Overall, I would have to say I'd pay NOT to go there again.
Also tried one of the bars on JingShan Rd. (maybe Roxy 99 or the other one). Was all TW'nese youngsters, but jam packed. If you're a hip hop kinda dude or young guy you might be able to score in that scene. A lot of very hot, young, very drunk girls there, but all in groups with guys it seemed. Anyone have experience in this area (there are two bars there that i saw)?
Taipei: an experience with "massage services" (The China Post newspaper)
So guys (and girls?),
Here is my Taipei report. During my 4 day visit to Taiwan I stayed in a hotel in the south end of the centre (Xindian) and looked around for some action. Already on the first day, it became pretty clear that his place is not comparable to other Asian countries in terms of working girls. Some people might call this a desert in that respect. There are plenty good looking ladies around, but the culture here is rather shy of sex and/or personal contact it seems. Being a westerner I noticed that people hardly look at you, almost seem to avoid eye contact. Must be a cultural thing. I noticed the same thing in Japan and Korea. However once you have established some contact (ask for the way, or whatever) they like to speak to you, practice their english and want to know where you are from etc. People generally speak better english here than in mainland China.
Anyway, before traveling, I studied the ISG and read almost all Taipei reports. (I recommend a good preparation before you go anywhere and read the ISG, you will find real useful information here). Of course that information is only as good as you, I and everybody else who travels contribute and share our experiences.

The train (subway) system in Taipei is very good, not expensive and pretty fast. Recommended.
A tip: when you get off the Ximen train station (I took exit 6), follow the Chengdu Road to your right for about 400 yards. You will pass several smaller streets before you hit Kunming Street (on your left). On the opposite street corner you will see a KFC. This is where you turn left. Then as per the instruction walk 1.5 block and you will see a rotating cylinder with many colors, indicating a hair dresser place. The second one is the one you wanna go to. Except it ain't a hairdresser place. When I got here, I saw a dimly lit store and a guy sitting in front of it asked me if I wanted 'massage'. I said OK, but asked how many girls there were. He said 5. The price he asked was 2000 for 1 hour FS. That was more than the 1400 mentioned in the other mail. Anyway I negotiated, but did not get the price down. I went to KFC and ate something, then came back half an hour later. The guy was still there. I said I wanted first to see the 5 girls. He let me in and called a girl. In my eyes not really a girl, more a 30 year old woman and on a scale of 1-10 perhaps a 6. I said I wanted to see the other 4. It turned out there was only one other, which on the same scale I would rate as a 5. I asked for the other 3, but he said here were none. Bummer. I looked around at the massage rooms, which looked quite OK to me. The place was reasonably well kept and not too bad. However I could not see myself spending 2000 TWD and possibly have a bad session with only some massage and a HJ. So I walked out. I have my standards. This was below them. After some not so good experiences I concluded that I want a good 'feeling' right from the start. (Use your radar) If that ain't here, better not do it. That usually turns out being a disappointment.
So that was a nice trip with the train (subway) but no girls that were worth staying for. I guess the '8' that Bull Shot reported on his report just wasn't here that day.
Next day I traveled to another city, Hsinchu. I was just looking around. When we left (with a car) the A1 exit into what I think is the road that leads into the main centre, I suddenly saw two sexy girls sitting in a bar, with only bikinis on. It was bright daylight and they were sitting there totally visible. I was surprised and almost wanted to stop there. But as I was with my hosts, I could not do that.
It was almost Amsterdam style. I was surprised. However I did not see any of those during the next 3 days, wherever I looked. In Taipei they don't exist I guess.
Well, I followed another tip from the forum. I bought "The China Post", an english newspaper with classifieds at page 16. (march 14th, 2007) At the bottom I found a service part, where some 10 places were advertized that offered "complete and relaxing massages". Well then. Found it. I called some of the places from my Hotel and found out they all more or less offer the same service. Yes you can get a regular massage (for some 3000 TWD, 2 hours) but they really don't expect that you do that. I found a phone number under the heading of "Sweet Dream, premium aromatherapy, gentle and satisfying massage" The phone number was: (02)2704-9933. Again they stated NT$3000 for 2 hours for a regular massage, but asked if I wanted full service (FS) instead. They spoke fairly good english. I negotiated the price to 6000 NT$ for 2 hours of FS, which I think is still fairly expensive but boils down to some Euro 150. So OK for me for this time. The girl comes to you, in the Hotel, so you are in your own private space. No travel, no hassle, no problems. I guess you can talk the price down to 5000
or less if you persist. They asked for my preferences which I told them and said the girl would be there in some 45 minutes. I said that the girl had to be real good or I would send her back. They said if I did not like her I could send here back at no cost.
So that was acceptable and I agreed. They asked for my hotel name, telephone and room number which I gave them. Indeed 45 minutes later the girl arrived. My hotel was OK with it, as I had a large 2 person room. Her name was Yaya. (jaya?). Not bad at all. I think she was born in Malaysia. A little small, but an 7 to 8 on my scale and nice attitude. So she stayed. We first took a shower together. She spoke some english (which helped) and after the usual chit chat I started massaging her feet, which she really liked. To cut a long story short, she stayed almost the two hours (ten minutes short) and left 5 minutes after I popped. However she was patient, a little shy, but after we turned the lights down a bit, things were fine. I had a good time with her. She allowed most things (FIV) kissed a little bit and seemed to enjoy things. At least her clt got real hard and she got wet and hot downunder. I liked the sounds she made. Just before and after we were finished, her mobile phone rang twice, as a reminder that time was up. Hmm, I do not like to be interrupted. Actually we still had some 10 minutes left, but because things had been good, I didn't protest. I only wonder what would have happened if we had 'finished' in one hour. Better save your juice until the last minutes I guess.
So Taipei wasn't so bad after all. I was quite happy with her and kissed her good bye with a smile on my face. Well. That was my Taipei contributon to this forum. I
hope it is useful to somebody. My experience with "Sweet dream" was quite good. Regarding Taipei: just lower your expectations and you will probably be OK. (for instance, tits are rare in Taiwan)
I did not have time to try out the 'Ceasars' Sauna place. That place will cost you some TWD 4200 for a 1 hour massage with FS. Perhaps next time.

yuki and other incall providers
Yuki used to be well known for large swings in quality and attitude. My first experience with one of her girls was really good. my second was really bad. Being that I have another trip coming up in a few weeks some more incall reviews would really help eliminate the bad ones from consideration. Reward dood performance and put the bad ones out of business - sounds like a worthwhile goal to me.
