Guy was working both ends hustling filipinas for sex and stupid men for introductions. Needless to say he lasted every bit of two weeks and then disappeared (his money must have run out). But he had little Jobeth thinking she would make a few dollars. She should have listened to me. I have encountered more than a few of these scumbags in my travels. None of them are worth five dollars but go to the Philippines with the idea that they will pay for the trip by running some scam.

In any event she is back talking to me and IMing me when I am online working at night (day in Davao). She is beautiful and essentially, low maintenance. Used to hit me up for an "allowance" very month or so. I would send her $40-50 and she was happy. Came to fuck/blow me daily between classes before. Easily one of the best fucks I have ever had. Plus she dresses real nice (claims to use the money from me for this, in which case it is money well spent). No problem having her at the Marco Polo or out for dinner.

I was speaking to DS this morning and he mentioned that he had recently deleted a post by Urban Wildlife, who apparently cannot stop himself from belittling Dragon Slayer. It must be a compulsion on his part and perhaps he's in need of extensive counseling, or perhaps some anti-psychotic drugs. I do not understand now and have never understood why some people (like him) use this forum merely to denigrate other people. I suppose it's to inflate their own fragile little egos, or perhaps they resent the fact that guys like DS and others who come here frequently actually purchase airline tickets and come over while guys like him stay at home and quietly fantasize while wanking off.

Whatever the causes, it's an inappropriate use of this venue. I've never seen him post anything positive, though he's been on my ignore list for so long that it's been some time since I've read anything written by him. I join with DS however. He should be banned. We do not need personality disorders clogging up the boards, and we don't need people who never actually contribute anything positive.

I heard I will miss a big party in Davao City. Sad work is in the way. Rose will attend in my abscense. Her big tits will be much more appreciated than my presence anyway.

Have to miss O'Flanagan's with the Annual St. Patrick's Day celebration he held there. This explains why the Kid has not arrived in Davao. No way he .would miss March 17 in New York City. I will again miss my Son's birthday. In this economy I cannot complain. I told him last night that I will fly him to Davao with his mother so he can visit the Crocodile Farm again. He keeps talking about this ever since I brought him here. For guys seeing filipinas with children, this is a good place to bring them. It is a 30 minute ride from the Marco Polo in downtown Davao. Located near the Airport in an undeveloped area. The Butterfly Sanctuary is next to it. Admission is 100 pesos ($2.10).

Work has prevented me from contacting anyone but my children and Rose. I am looking forward to returning as soon as possible. Still want to have a Party, most likely at the MP as they make it easy for me to do this. We need to have fun and forget the Economy.

Davao was for the most part super as always. And Cebu surprised me a lot for being so clean, simple, friendly, accessible, etc.

I am also surprised by the dramatic increase in foreigners in Davao over the last 2-3 years. Incredible change the last 12 months. The tattooed over weight schmucks, pigging away on red horse and dancing fuck dance with equally tattooed and over weight sluts in the night clubs, made it on a massive scale to Davao finally. I guess we can thank ourselves for this.

Barba, sorry that we didn't get a chance to get together again, but as you say, there's always a next time. I was just in Sultan Kudarat yesterday on my way back from Cotabato. I recommend strongly that you give it a miss.

It's true as you say that there's been a dramatic influx of overweight white guys in Davao and I cannot help but think that we're all partially responsible for that phenomenon. Perhaps all of us should start issuing dire warnings about how fraught with peril it is and we could reverse the process. I think I've also noticed a stark increase in the numbers of expatriate residents; at least I've started to see guys whom I do not recognize at all, and that rarely happened during my first few years here. I guess more guys read this board than I had realized.

Yesterday, on the way to Cotabato, I stopped off at the McDonald's in Digos for a snack. It was only about 8 in the morning, and I got verbally accosted by an Australian guy who started offering advice once the counter lady told me that this McDo's didn't do breakfast. I sort of smiled vaguely and waited for him to shut up. I didn't realize that there were expats in Digos, but I guess we're spreading to various parts of Mindanao.

I'm currently in Zamboanga, where I think I will try to get in touch with RobbAf and see if we can get together again as we did the last time he was in Davao. He's one of the few expats I know who actually lives here.

I am over weight due to my build and Football career, my BMI is 28% and I still weigh in at 265 lbs. I have tattoos from my days in the Navy, as a SeAL no less. So pleaaase don't make a generalization like that. I am cultured, educated and classy (for lack of better word). Maybe we could just classify these idiots as low class, slobs or maybe uneducated fools, but then I do know some educated fools who act this way!

I know you are decent guy by the posts you have, and it is not only you making these generalizations. Its just that it makes me a little upset when people assume overweight or tattooed people are slobs.

Thanks for posting. Just always be dresses nicely and forget about anything else. Tatoos are not readily apparent if dressed nicely (dress shirt, pants, balck socks and black shoes). How a man dresses and carries himself says it all. Don't worry about the comments as Barba, a classy guy, was not referring to you.

Look at what I have to put up with here. And from guys I never met, spoke with and who have never visited the Philippines, let alone Davao. Guys who are obscessed with tauning and insutling me. I guess I did not help the situation much setting the Kid loose on Davao. He is essentially the Ultimate Slob Barba described, except no tatoos and he chooses to sit and drink shots & beers while constantly smoking rather than throw his 325 lb bulk around a dance floor. At least we can be thankful for this.

The answer is YES, the three of us DID CREATE THIS PROBLEM. How many posts on Davao women, nightlife and cheap places to stay have we done both here and in the Davao Board of the Phil Forum? Too many! We "invited" these guys down here. Now we are stuck with it.

For you guys it is a little less painful. At 6'4"and 240lb I cannot hide. They see me and gravitate to me like filipinas to money. And I have never smoked in my life and have to deal with these creatures smoking away and boring the shit out of me with their life story. This is why I avoid Henny's (outside tables are full of these losers) and any outdoor tables. Virtually all of these lowlifes are smokers. Keep inside a nice, elegant (and expensive) restaurant and they do not bother you.

The Philippines is a very very cheap place to visit. Makati City is the most expensive but still rediculously cheap compared to my City, Hong Kong, Tokyo, NYC or LA. Cebu is 20% cheaper than Manila and Davao is 20% cheaper than Cebu. If you want to avoid these "guys" you have to think upscale. Hang at the nicer restaurants and Clubs and stay at Marco Polo or Waterfront and keep far from any and all pension houses here.

I have not seen any lowlifes in Plaza Bistro Restaurant (4th floor MP), Claude's Restaurant, Continental Club (wonder why; membership fee perhaps), La Toscana or Swiss Deli wine cellar (no smoking down there and the wine ain't cheap). I do like to go out in the evening in Davao but stick to places lowlifes avoid (white, linen tabletops, real crystal glasses and candlelight turn these guys out).

I take it you did not meet Anya Belle. I have not apoken to her in five weeks, although she did IM me a week ago. Says she still is in Cebu with "friends" and staying at her father's place (thought he lived in Davao). Qien save' (who knows). Another future post in "Filipinas, Opinions and Advice" Board here. No, appearance is not everything, and as a (former) social scientist I should know better. As to my age, in my head I'm still about 35 but the mirror tells me I'll soon be 65, so these guys were probably 30+ years younger than I. I did not even try to keep up with them once we were at depth.
