This is a question more for visitors and expats than the local members. I've stayed at the Grand Millennium without being bothered by staff when I bring back a companion but I wonder if our members have had good or bad experiences with 5 star hotels in the area. I'll be there for a conference later in the year and just doing some early research on hotels in the Golden Triangle area. Nearly all of the reports in this forum are from locals who might not have the same experiences and there isn't a sub-section on hotels in Kuala Lumpur like there is Hong Kong & other areas.
