The last few days you can see the volume vehicles coming from Bangkok to stay with family or in the hotel, resorts and apartments in the Pattaya area. Regarding water personally there hasn't been much flooding in Pattaya and the water sources haven't been contaminated but the locals have brought up all the water in panic! I get my water like I always from one of those street machines and have a testing device from the USA and the water properties haven't changed. The water doesn't smell and I'm not sick nor heard of anyone getting sick but water has become scarce in those bottles one would get at 7/11, but you can still get water from vendors locally.

I ran into a guy today at Big C extra off Pattaya Klang with his suitcase he seem lost so I offer my help. He said he had a reservation months ago at a small hotel but when he showed up they play dump that they didn't have a reservation. Basically from what I have heard in the last few days some hotels have given their rooms to people from Bangkok because the people have offer to pay a higher place. I was able to help the guy get a room at a more local place close to transportation.

Today I was also at Lotus north to get some KFC, when I walked in most of the items had a sign showing " out ". The impact is starting to affect Pattaya where some greedy vendors are starting to charge more to take advantage of the situation. Getting Eggs seem to be scarce too? One could usually get 36 eggs for 90 baht, today the same guy I purchased from was selling 8 eggs for 130 Baht. I just walked away?

Along with the people from Bangkok coming down and buying everything they can get their hands on. I talked to some people at Makro that had purchased 15 cases of MAMA-that is 450 packages-how much can a family of 4 eat?
