I recalled I have read about this kind of scam here a few months back. Heavy warnings in bright red letters were first issued back in 2016. The editor using words like unless such practices stop, avoid Reeperbahn! Two years on, such scams still go on. I don't know if it is just this particular shop or the whole Herbert Street or the entire Reeperbahn. For these scams to survive that long, IMHO, there is an endless supply of unsuspecting tourists to that area all year round and there is no law putting these scammers out of business now (and in the future for sure) . Buyers Beware!

Maybe conning numerous 50s are indeed more profitable than working for 300's. That's easy and no work (sex) involved. For me losing 50 is no big deal, but the nasty experience sticks!
