The Melia hotel or former Melia hotel next to Jaragua is now a Magna 365 hotel. I have seen rates as low as $65 taxes included. I wonder if it is guest friendly. Anyway, they are going to be under the Sheraron flag in the future.

What goes around comes around.
Greetings. I am new to the board but not to the game. I had my first Santo Domingo experience in late Sept. I stayed at the Melia. Concerning guest fees, it was $ 50. To bring in a chica. Management would only allow for a total of two guest on the register, cedulas required. I took one out from the Venicia / Lapsus for 3000rd after bartering like hell on a slow Tuesday afternoon for two hours. She was very cooperative in all aspects of the encounter. So although I thought the price was a bit on the high side, I was well served.
The other chica was one that I had Badoodled up prior to my arrival who stayed with me for two nights after I greased the front desk clerk's palm late one night with a few pesos. Cost was a few drinks in Pure Disco next door and a couple of cab fares. A nice time
With her if you don't mind wifing up, as she was also my tour guide for the trip.
I might add that speaking Spanish is helpful but not an insurmountable problem. I had my I pad with me and the girls loved to use the translator app when the language part became sticky. My Spanish skills are not good, but I can make myself understood and can read it as to make sense of it all. The Magna 365 is right around the corner form the casas if one desires to use them, however there are plenty of freelancers around the whole place in the wee hours. Many touts and shoeshine boys always willing to lend a helping
Hand if needed in return for some pesos. I never used their services.
I am returning to SDQ at the end of Jan. Or early Feb. For a return engagement. I already have some Dominican Cupid and Badoo ladies on the roster who are wanting to meet. I might add that if you have the Badoo app, it gives the proximity of the ladies online to
Where you are if you use the location feature. At least it lets you see who is around. If you type in your location eg: Santo Domingo. I might try the Napolitano Hotel and casino next time since it is near the water, the Zona Colonial, and a couple of titty bars that I
Want to visit and is still near enough to some of the other venues in a quick cab ride.
I'm wifed up until 1/13/13. I've had my regular girl with me for the holidays (been having a good time). However, I have to go back to the states for 2 weeks and will be having a full day of debauchery on the 13 of Jan. I have 2 friends that will be here and I plan on wrecking a few hoes. Looking for 4 or 5 in one day (Let's see if my heart keeps up).
If anyone is around and wants to join, just PM me. First round is on me.
By the way, Shakey luxury apartments, next to Pasteur casas and next to V Centenario hotel opened last week, prices from $90 per night per apartment.
http://www.hotelshakey.com/
Does anyone know if this place is chica friendly? I inquired about a room approximately one week ago and got a pleasant and prompt response. I then sent them back an email inquiring about their guest policy as well as deposit / cancellation policy. I did not receive a response. I sent another email yesterday and still have not received a response.

I stayed two nights in Santo Domingo, after having spent a week at the beach in Cabarete. Plenty of info can be found on the board dealing with Sosua. I only like Passion's.

– good bar, professional service, clean.
In Santo Domingo I used Google Map.

One late evening I explored the clubs in the side street next to the InterContinental Hotel on Av. Pasteur. I looked in all places but liked the first club Venezia / Lapsus most. They have a bar and you can hang out drink a beer (200 pesos) and watch the scene. When you enter the club first all the girls assemble around you and stare at you, trying to attract attention. One has to get used to that but after a couple of minutes they let you alone and you can enjoy your beer watching the girls. There are quite some beautiful girls around, I was surprised. Better selection then in Sosua.
After two-three beers I made my selection, invited the lady for a drink and talked a little bit with her. She explained me the system and prices. Take out is 3'500 pesos, in house costs 4'000 pesos. I made the mistake to choose in house, because I was so horny and did not want to go through the ordeal of having to deal with the taxi 'amigos' outside. I hate this taxi system with out taxometer in D. R. I should have taken the girl to my hotel, because the rooms at the bar were dirty and had a poor standard. The girl was good, even excused about it. All in all a fun evening in Santo Domingo, I will visit this place again but only with take out. Keep that in mind and don't make the same mistake as me.
Maybe the lack of an answer is your answer.
Your probably right. I had seen this place when I was in SD in October. They were still working on it. I saw the post, which included a link, a few weeks back so I thought I might inquire. The rooms are a little pricey but look real nice and have a good location. However if we can't use the rooms for our intended purpose then why bother? I just figured somebody on this board might have a little more experience with the place.
Nice report I just realized that this is a gem spot. Sooooo, do we really want to put it out there like that.
Peace,
BBL
Good reporting bro. The second girl I took to Tia Tania also ran into the office. I asked what that was about and she said they get a 100p kickback every time they bring a guy there. The rooms are just as you describe. I paid 600p but that was with a grande Presidente and extra condoms. My boy had a party at one of those cabanas on that end. The cabana was two stories and they had 7 girls running around naked. The birthday boy fucked most of them.
I know you were looking for that fine girl our wingman missed out that night, shit she has been on my mind also. The really fine ones there are scooped up quickly. But that spot is not for the timid, Marks beware. My first time I discovered it with Sabor the girls were playing cards on the curb LOL. They will crowd you quickly. Its best to get one and pull away like you did. I've seen cars lined up seven deep waiting in a line for these girls. Most guys don't know about those cabanas at that end lined up with lights like a little Vegas, impressive shit. When I see the girls sitting on the curb with laptops I will know Old Kool has been there LOL.
Happy new year fellow mongers. I am planning my first trip to DR. I will first go to aruba then to DR. I have heard so much about the chicas that I want to experience it first hand. Just had a few questions on which city is best for mongering in DR. I usually like to hunt in the day for ST and have a couple of sessions in the day. Then I perfer picking up one for the night for a full night romp fest. I was wondering if any of you experienced folks could recommend bars clubs and other areas where I can do my hunting. Also if anyone wants to share some chica friendly hotels in santa domingo that would be great.
If you are interested in hitting large number of available young women then you want to go To Sosua. The whole scene is geared toward tourist picking up young women. You need a lot of insite to know where and when to go in Santo Domingo. Ray Charles could find women in Sosua. Sosua is a small town that is very easy to get around in. You will not need a car. Everything is with in walking distance. Hotels are inexpensive. Santo Domingo is cooll but it takes some time and help to function there. It is a bg city with no central mongering spot.

Peace,
BBL
It's all good, we have done our homework so we are reaping the benefits. The spots we go and things we do the average dude can't do. SD is not easy and most guys are lazy. So let them stick with the "Girls house" and "305", eventually they will learn, but maybe not LOL.
I will stay in SD in feb and am looking for a nice gf hotel. The Palacio is recommended but apparently does not offer rooms with balcony what I need (to have a smoke).
I consider Hotel Conde de Penalba and Hotelpa Caribe Colonial because they have balconies. In the thread is mentioned Hotel Conde de Penalba is gf.
Question: Are they both gf? Any comments or ideas?
Thanks s.
