Phnom Penh Day 1: First Impressions
Arrived in Phnom Penh at 7 pm, in the streets by 10. Did a few rounds of 136,130 and 118 to check out the vibe. They run parallel and it's not a long walk.
All are lined up with bars, girls standing outside, screaming to get you inside (the bar.

Entered Wow and Amazing, similar setup. Couches laid out, pick a girl to sit and drink or just walk out. I chose the latter.
Meanwhile, switched on people nearby on wechat and voila, tons of Vietnamese beauties showed up. Sent everyone a Hi and moved on.
Next entered Croco. Girls dancing on the poles, $2 for a draft. Took a seat, two girls swooped right, in one on left and one on right. Sadly none caught my eye. They tried their best but I skimped on that lady drink even though it was just $5. Finished the beer and out.
Just realized almost all the wechat girls had replied. Soon realized the pattern. They will start at $200 for night, you negotiate to whatever works (I usually prefer not to negotiate with working girls but had to understand the laws of the land here). They won't video call, what a bummer, it has been such a saver for TF in Thailand. Meet me downstairs and if you don't like, I will go back, is what they all say. Finally narrowed down on a fairly pretty one for $70 short time (2-3 boom boom). Told her to meet outside the hotel first. She was quick to arrive and went to the lobby. Damn! She was quite off her prime as seen in pics. I said a polite sorry and she asked politely for taxi money $10. I wanted her out of the lobby ASAP so handed her the money and off she went.
In the streets again, and a cute one outside a small bar (forgot the name, will check out today) caught my eye. Couch setting, got her a beer $5, manager pulled the curtains and she was all over me, teasing with all her might. Took her to the hotel after a drink ($50 for 2-3 boom boom, $20 bar fine). Short walk to the hotel, in the room, a rushed round one and long satisfying round 2 later, escorted her out. Value for money experience. Hungry, back in streets, ate some noodles. It was around 2 am and the vibe was much livelier so walked some more. A stunning one outside Alaska (136) asked $100 for short time. Tempted, but also smelled a dead-fish inside her. Decided to call it a night.
First impression- Maybe Phnom Penh doesn't deserve all that hate. Could be a seeker's paradise, and maybe seeking is where the real fun is anyway. What do I know though, still my first day. Maybe I paid more at times, or maybe I skimped where it wasn't needed. Lets see how tomorrow goes, too many bars to check. I seek and I may find.
BTW, I do plan to try out a few more VN girls from wechat. They are too stunning to give up on, that easily. Maybe will talk first about the taxi money. Or maybe will charge a few more $10 bills to experience.

[/QUOTE]PP doesn't deserve the "hate". Been coming here since 1999 and the scene has changed a lot. Some good, some bad. Today is my 3rd day here in PP. Haven't got past checking out the 136 bars so far. Sorry to read Wow and Amazing didn't have anything appealing to Mickey. I'll have to check it out just for drill. So far, I liked Xanadu. Past visits didn't disappoint and current line up has more than enough girls from which to choose. Some are very "hands on" and not adverse to diddling at the bar. Surprised they only wanted short time. Didn't negotiate because I don't normally do short time except for an afternoon session. Lady drinks were "only" $3. 50. My Angkor draft was $2. 50 In my opinion. Good line up.
