In PG from 13 September to 23 September. Water was warm, diving was great, visibility was great also. Night life? All of the Philippines have great night life! Depends on what you want and are looking for. Same with the quality of the girls. Depends on what gets your attention. The Philippines sells itself. I went for the diving and to relax, kick back and chill. Food was great. Companionship was plentful and cheap. Depends on how you treat the gal if she will treat you well.

You won't find anything quite like Soi Cowboy in the RP. But, you might enjoy the EDSA complex. Also, L.A. Cafe is walking distance from the City State Tower or the nearby Lotus Garden. Both girl friendly. Forget Swagman. Probably the worst value in M. Manila.

I need some advice here. I'm new to the Philippines, travelling early december, but have some experience of the LOS, Pattaya to be more specific. So, how do things here compare to Pattaya? Sorry if this is a daft question, but that's what I can calibrate to! Pattaya has it's charm being by the sea and all. I mean Angeles sounds like it could do with a bit of seaside? Am I wrong?

Here's some specific questions about the Manila area.

Best places for hanging about for pick-ups, shopping malls etc? I mean places you're likely to be approached by non-pro / semi-pro studenty types for a bit of GFE.

LA café sounds fun, is that what I'm looking for? ESDA complex someone mentioned, what's that?

Accomodation in Manila: Appartment, is that an option for an 11 night stay? Any suggestions?

Are chat/dating internet sites worth using to make contacts before travelling? Any suggestions?

Should I be thinking of travelling somewhere else in the country? I was thinking of basing myself in Manila, but would for example Cebu be a more holiday friendly option?

Getting off subject now but does anyone know how to get hold of a book called The Hedonist? Amazon won't supply it to my country! Is it worth having?

Im going to PI on Monday for 12 days, a couple days work, a few days diving, probably in PG and 5-6 days in AC. Coming back Oct. 2.
I'll be going back in middle of November for 18 days. I'll be spending a week in Boracay with my favorite girl before she gets married to her boyfriend in December. Sort of a pre-honeymoon for her, ha,ha. She the one with the big sou sous. I'll be in touch.

You might like things better in Cebu. I personally wouldn't spend much time in Manila. It's dirty, dangerous, and depressing.

John, I'm an old Thailand hand, now living in the PI, Pattaya(and Phuket) was my preferred place over BKK, there is just no comparison to Thai girls over Filipinas, Thai are more mercenary and more deceptive, I would never do more with a Thai than BF orone nighter, I can speak Thai pretty well and I hear all the things they are saying to rip you off. General rule of thumb, Thailand for better mindless sex, PI for a girl next door type you can pick up in the mall for a bounce but probably wants to be Mrs John 58

IMHO Thai girls are better at sex, less shy and are more enthusiastic about the whole thing. They are a little reluctant about a blow job but thats a cultural thing, also, Thai women are more likely to be a "bowling ball" (all three holes)than Filipina, I've only done three out of about thirty Filipina in the rear door,however, Filpina are better at blow jobs.

The great thing about the Phils is that you can get laid for free, well thats a relative term but you can pick up girls who are not bar girls easier than in thailand, where not many self respecting Middle to upper class Yings will be seen with a Falang. Here its possible to get a non pro who speaks great english, parade around with proudly like a trophy catch, they actually like Americans (an other foreigners) but the kicker is they are more oriented to a steady, thats is to say a husband or fiance than just a quick trick.

In this instance you may have to court the girl or meet her some other way than by going into a bar, picking out a go go dancer or one in the fish bowl ala Pattaya.

The further you get away from Manila the better IMHO, Manila sucks, the closest you will get is Ermita, Malate or Makati similar to Nana Plaza or Pattaya beer bars. You should definitely check out the provinces like Cebu, however, your best hunting may be here in Davao. If what you are after is some cutie you meet in the mall then boff in your hotel room.

Spamhog says the over thirty lady is a sure bet for this one, however, you can pick up the younger "tuition girls" looking for a quick fling with a foreigner for a few thousand pesos, these are semi pros but really the best deal going.

Of course we have several "professional" outlets, girls are quite nice,I suggest you go to the Davao board and check out what guys like Dragon Slayer and Good enough are saying, it seems to me that prices are about the same, perhaps a littlel cheaper here in the PI.

I dont mess around anymore (kinda) as I'm married to a local lass, but damn I do miss going to LOS for a 2some with a pair of isan cuties!

Being a part-time enthusiast and lurker on this forum for the past few years, I thought it was finally time to put fingers to keyboard. The forum has been a valuable source of information to me and I must thank all contributors. The main reason I have never posted I guess is that I've never really had anything worthwhile to add - who am I kidding, I'm just a lazy SOB.

To introduce myself I am 30ish from Scotland but currently working in South China not far from Hong Kong and will be relocating to KL mid-November. I have enjoyed mongering experiences in Holland, Prague and the FKK clubs in Frankfurt as well as the Asian delights of China, Thailand, Singapore and KL.

To start off my first post with a question if that's okay, although some recent posts may have answered this already. I am planning a holiday to the Philippines for 2 weeks beginning of October and am looking for advice on where to go. I have done some research but it doesn't come close to the advice from the experienced posters. I plan to go to some serious mongering the first week with a mate from work and then I am on my lonesome for the 2nd week and looking for the best place to chill during the day and party at night.

My first thoughts are a few days in Manila/Makati then 4 days in Angeles City. For the 2nd week I have narrowed it down to Sabang beach in Puerto Galera or Boracay as I also want to take in some diving. What are the chances of picking up some decent talent for LT GFE at these places or is it better to take a girl from Manila or Angeles for the week? If so, where are the best places to do this: Manila freelancers from say LA caf¨¦ or go-go girls from EDSA, Burgos Street or Angeles City? Please bear in mind I am kind of picky and usually go for the 8 or 9's (if available!).

Hope to hear back from you and I promise to post a report on my return and hopefully some pics.

Last year when I came to Manila, I noticed there were a few shops that will make custom shoes from all kinds of leather (snake, crocodile, sting ray). Too bad I didn't have time to get them made (3 days)

I am thinking of coming to Manila again. For mongering, but also for some shopping. Now, I noticed there were posts about guides, but JR seems a bit "rich" when he finds you girls for 3,000 Pesos. Can anyone recommend getting a guide for me who will do things such as find a good shoe shop, help with negotiation, etc., all for a reasonable cost? Any ideas?

Also, I know The Phil may not be the best place for this...but has anyone had good experience getting suits and shirts made? Any recommendations?

Manila and the Philippines is indeed filled with many beautiful women, but I would suggest that you are unlikely to find them in the LA Café, in my opinion it's filled with too many hardened pros who rate around an average of 5, being generous, for my liking. Burgos Street has better quality but at a price and the few diamonds in Angeles City are either already snapped up or have made their way down to the capital where they can earn the big bucks. However, outside of the bar scene in AC there are many regular girls, who with a bit of effort are looking for LTR.

I am sure if you use the search function you will find many of the other posts, good & bad, concerning the LA Café.

Bottom line is we all have our favorites and tend to sing the praises of said, myself included. Tastes are, of course, subjective. Get out and check em out for yourself. I enjoy a couple nights in Manila, and a few in both AC and Sabang, but I don't know squat about the south.

If you're going to Boracay, BYO. Sabang has a few.

As Junior said, 8-9's can be found outside of Manila. But they do tend to move where the money is.

Cheap one you can get from LA cafe but they are quite professional ones.

Second cheapest.. you can have some girls from EDSA complex but have to spend some time until you get THE one.

Or, if you really have some time to do it.. go to local KTV and try to make a girl friend..

Being an old Asia Hand, I've mongered and then some in most or all of the Asian countries you mentioned I was stationed in E. Timor a few years back and used to run amok in most capitols. Now the PI was NEVER my favorite place (Bankok Pattaya) for mindless imaginative sex, however, I discovered a great secret once when stranded in the PI....there are girls here who you can pick up quite easily, non pro or non bar girls but regular ladies who are students, nurses, (had a lady dentist once) school teachers that will rock your world, I have to say Manila is the worst place for such most are freelancers, Pros or semi pros.

The Provinces are where its at, the best kept secret is Davao, where I currently live, however, CEBU may be the best for you, they have pro and several bars to serve that outlet, there are enough single regular girls to make chatting up or meeting a "nice girl" very easy, you can easily meet a lady and have her escort you to Bohol or Camigiun island for some great diving (muff and scuba) and other adventures, but I warn you, they want to be Mrs Robbo, the older ladies say 28 plus if unmarried or unattached are the easiest lays with the over thirty a sure bet, also probably will come out of the bathroom wearing a wedding dress so be prepared how your going to handle that. But I would say CEBU over Manila or AC any day, if your adventurous check out Davao.

About clothes shoes and stuff, the PI sucks in this regard if you have opver a size 34 waist or 38 chest, shoes are impossible cant even find a size 10 in Manila or cebu, there are tailors usually run by Byots (faggots) but the workmanship is nothing compared to the Indian tailers of Bangkok.

This may answer a few questions for you. I recently returned from 10 days in RP, six in Manila and 4 at Sabang beach. I found the girls downstairs in LA cafe to be average, although one night my mate picked up a 19 year old cherry girl and she was over the moon the next morning when he gave her 1500 pesos for her birthday - she genuinely wasn't expecting a cent, very cute as well. Upstairs at LA the girls are generally younger and prettier, quite a few 7-8's, only saw about 2 9's. However, rich japanses businessman seem to have cornered this market and the young girls know they can make alot of money in a few days with these guys, pushing the price up for the average mongerer. Still LA is an enjoyable place to kick back and relax to some music with mates if you aren't too fussed about the quality of the girls.

Amazonia is a new club up the road from LA and it gets some high quality freelancers. The musi is pretty good and the place is very nice inside. Watch out for the girl in the short skirt who will dance on your dick for 2 minutes and expect a 500 tip. All in all not a bad place to pick up, and all the waitresses wear hot uniforms and most are available for some after work nooky.

I found that most girls are expecting 1500 pesos for an overnight stay at the moment, but there were a couple of girls who were happy to leave while I was still sleeping, without a cent (yes, my wallet was still there when I awoke.)

I was a bit dissapointed in the freelancer scene in Sabang beach, Puerto Galera. Nearly all the girls are attached to one of the strip bars. I found the best one to be Sunset disco. The girls are good fun and you can have a great time with them without committing yourself too much. The mamasans in Sabang disco and some of the others are too pushy and the atmosphere is very professional. Centrum disco is the best spot for freelancers, but be aware that alot of the girls go there when their disco shift is over, and the minders follow them there so the girls still expect you to pay a barfine even though they are no longer at work. I picked up a few freelancers at the karaoke bars along the main strip. One cutey on "holidays" from Makati ended up spending two days with me travelling around the island and I didn't give her a cent. You can be lucky.

Overall, I had a ball. Two things never cease to amaze me about the PI girls and the guys who love them. First, so many are willing to bonk without condoms. Gonorea is out of control in Manila as a result, so fellas - tarp up at all times.

Second, so many guys are sending these girls money as their "fiances", naively thinking that they are no longer "working" and saving themselves for the 4 or 5 times a year they can visit. Talking to the girls I bonked, they all have several "fiances" who are sending them money under this belief. Don't be sucked in guys, these girls are very good at making you believe that they love you and only you.

This is not intended as a flame, but it is not hard to get laid for free in the Philippines. Many guys have proven this as you have.

The girls are usually to shy to ask you if you can help them, when you do not offer. I have even had girls refuse my initial offers to give them money. It was only after I insisted that they take the money did they accept my offer.

My point here is that most of these girls do believe that by the end of their stay with you they will receive some help in the form of money from you.

It doesn't take much considering what they make just working in the PI to make a difference in making the rent that month or buying food.

My point is for those newbies that are seeking to travel here. Us mongers should do our part to make sure that these girls continue to come out in public to be our tour guides, escort us around town or just to chat for a brief minute and then head back for the good deed.

If we all went after just the getting laid and never paid them any money, then pretty soon they would all quit offering to help us.
