I just paid a visit to the famous 8th floor. The good news is that the mamasan and the girls were bailed out yesterday(They've been there for 20 days). It is actually possible to select a girl at GH. I just asked at Reception for the girl by her name and room number and got her. Unfortunately, that girl has now been deported to Thailand.

Our cops are very good at taking unarmed civilians to task and imposing the laws to their advantage as done in the case of the LP raid. Why can't they have the "brave attitute" even in Kilinochchi and storm into where the LTTE leader lives, break the locks and take him into custody in the exact manner they carried out the raid at LP??. These cops are also famous to threaten the lovers (unarmed civilians) hanging out in the Wellawatte and Galle Face beaches in order to get their purses bigger. There is a friend of mine who as a medical student was with his fiancee (also a medical student) inside a car parked in the Wellwatte beach area. Cops coming in a mobile patrol car took hold of their National ID Cards and threatned to take them to the police station and my friend had to pay Rs 1000/- after much begging not to expose them and show his purse to prove that he had only Rs 100/- remaining in his purse. Then the cops wanted to see the girl's hand bag and took Rs 800/- that was there. Today my friend is a top surgeon married to the same girl (who is also a doctor now) and probably both are treating cops taken care of by the LTTE.

lol!! yes, there are people who watch; those buggers are called voyeurs. i don't think i'll be too keen on going to chitra's place.

I was snowed in with work at couldn't share my latest experience.
