If you go through the Amsterdam thread, you could probably find more useful information than I am about to give you since I view my mongering in a very different way then(I approximate) ninety-five(95)% of the mongers that post in the ISG view theirs.
Since I don't know you and what your standards of beauty are as well as how much you are willing/able to spend on sex I will pretend you are me(God help you!) to answer your inquiry:
SINGEL area which is about a ten(10) minute walk from the Centraal Station (which I consider ground 0 for the Amsterdam-RLD). Singel is a much smaller than the well publicized main RLD, less "glitzy" with no live sex shows and sex shops and gets much less tourist traffic(mostly local traffic). The women, however, tend to be older or Latina. DIRECTIONS - With the Centraal Station to your back, cross Prins Hendrikkade(the big, extremely busy street in front of the Centraal Station) and walk straight down Martelaarsgracht(a smaller street to the right and parallel to the BIG Damrak), follow this through Hereveld(name change) and slight left to Spuistraat. On Spuistraat after two-hundred(200)/three-hundred(300) meters take the small streets to the right but stop at Singel(also the name of a street) and do not cross the canal. In Netherlands, virtually everyone speaks English so don't be afraid to ask if you get confused.
MAIN RLD - try to avoid the obvious "knock outs" as they give the least enthusiasm, shamelessly up sell(usually in the middle of the act when the customer is most vulnerable) and offer the most rushed service. As a rule of thumb, the less attractive, older ladies give better service and are not habitual "clock watchers". Bargaining in the main rld this may not work as well as they seem to be all stuck on fifty (50) euros+ and won't budge and ymmv. But, at the very least, it is worth a try!

I d like to tell you something about the Amsterdam RLD window closure.
When they will close all the windows the girls will not work so far away. Don't forget you got also a RLD in The hague, In Rotterdam, in Dusseldorf, In Antwerpen, in Bruxelles. The hague can take lots of girls cause lots of booth stay closed.

Court shuts top Amsterdam brothel - Yab Yum
A Dutch judge has ordered a leading Amsterdam brothel to close, as part of a campaign to cut links between the sex trade and organised crime.
The judge upheld the city's complaint that the Yab Yum Club had been taken over by the Hells Angels biker gang.
The brothel, which describes itself as up-market and exclusive, denies this.
In September the city announced plans to buy about 50 shop fronts where prostitutes display themselves, and turn them into businesses or homes.
In December the municipality decided to withdraw the Yab Yum Club's licence.
The club - which operates from a 17th-Century canal house in Old Amsterdam and charges clients about $500 (£250) a time - challenged the move.
Ahead of Friday's court decision it said allegations that it was controlled by the Hells Angels were "absolutely wrong".
But an Amsterdam city council spokeswoman said after the ruling: "This shows we did the right thing by not giving out the permit and closing the brothel."
The mayor of Amsterdam, Job Cohen, has said that although prostitution is legal in the Netherlands, there is too much of the sex trade in the city centre.
He also said that the trade involved exploitation and trafficking of women, and other kinds of criminal activity.

March '07 Experience at the Showboat

finally after using this site for such a lot of information i thought it's time for me to do a little contribution. main reason is that i am back in ams and is looking forward to my last years experience, which i rate as the best ever! i will be here till 12th feb. can anyone let me know any recent vist to showboat?
this is my experience in march '07 at showboat.
after going through the forum and armed with the information i called showboat on a thursday evening and inquired about a visit on friday night. i explained to them that i am visiting ams and is single (male! Showboat no go :(.. But..
Ok guys. Majour dissapointment. I couldn't make it to Showboat on Saturday night. I was too late (they said.) to call and they didn't book me in. So I was left high and dry. May be next weekend. Can anyone give an update on Showboat please?
