cheers![/quote]as others have pointed out asking for everything from scratch is a bit much and 3-4 hours of perusing trip reports and hotel reports would fill you in. but here is a quick go as i have nothing to do till lunch.

not sure what you mean by "brothels". but girls are found in a few basic types of venues in bangkok.

go-go bars. there are three locations for these. nana plaza at soi 4 off sukhumvit, soi cowboy at asoke (soi 23) off sukhumvit and patpong in downtown bangkok. stick to the first 2 as they are close and have the best girls. who generally go for 2, 000 baht st, 3, 000 lt with a bar fine of 6-800 depending on time and bar. each of the 3 locations has lots and lots of go-go bars with lots and lots of girls.

bars. these are your basic watering holes with the small exception that many of them employ girls to drink with you if you wish and go with you if you wish. in general the girls are slightly older than the go-go girls and speak better english. many of them are downright unattractive but you can certainly find some nice ones as well. pricing has risen in these locales to the point where many girls are asking the same as go-go girls which is crazy in my book and the bar fine isn't much cheaper. but guys like them for their less hurried approach. these bars litter sukhumvit and the sois intersecting it. soi 4 has a bunch.

massages. can't help you here as i never go but there are tons of them all over bk. to me its all too mechanical and predictable but that is what a lot of guys like.

freelancers. these are girls who do their own hours and choose their own places to park their bottom. there used to be a wonderful fl scene in bk but it has diminished greatly over the past couple of years. the main locations are. thermae on sukhumvit (around soi 17?) which begins around 11pm, has on a good night around 75 girls, is mainly targeted to japanese customers but open to farangs as well. pricing asked will usually be 2000 baht but sometimes you can get them down to 1500. no barfines for fls. beer garden on soi 7 off suk. begins in the early afternoon and goes late. a large bar/eatery where girls come in hopes of getting lucky. not usually the best looking but in general nice girls who speak some english and a few winners among them. 1000-1500 baht st. new wave. same street as beer garden. pool place where girls hang out, gullivers on soi 5 off suk. restaurant and pool joint. nice place. girls hang out and play pool, the nana hotel parking lot. beginning around 10pm girls begin to collect in the pl and outside on the sidewalk. it used to be wild but has dropped off considerably in both quantity and quality but still some cuties on occassion. then there are late night discos. in the parking garage of the ambassador hotel on soi 11, boss, tunnel and others. i used to go a lot when i was younger but not so much any more. pricing with fl is all over the place depending on the girl and the venue. for the bg, new wave, parking lot it is usually 1000-1500. gullivers will be higher. 1500-2000. the discos. especially the upscale ones in nice hotels will be 2000-4000.

upscale hostess bars. too rich for my blood.

edens. a place that encourages that you take 2 girls and have a threesome. on soi 7-1. the girls are not the greatest looking but by most reports know what they are doing. threesomes are easy to get in bangkok (or pattaya) and i prefer doing it with younger girls.

basically if you stick to sukhumvit from soi 23 down to soi 4 you will find girls everywhere. i mean everywhere. down every nook and cranny of the neighborhood.

so get a hotel around there. make sure it is girl friendly. most are but not all or they charge an additional fee for the girl. the nana hotel, dynasty inn, majestic suites are often the choice of mid-budget guys who prefer spending their money on girls. but there are lots of them.

Nice report DRRonin, I will suggest reading this post to a few friends of mine considering going to BKK for the first time.

Sexual Healing-I would also suggest going to The Queens Park Plaza on Soi 22 Sukhumvit, it's on the right side as your walking away from Sukhumvit. On my last trip to BKK, Aug-Oct 2009, I had a lot of luck finding both attractive and good servicing ladies there. It may be, that as I like to spend time shooting pool in the bar and I do buy the ladies drinks they feel more comfortable with me, rather than being in there ten minutes and barfining a girl, hence the good service. Or, maybe I just got lucky, who knows.

Finally, you really should RTFF. I am also a newbie here, but I wouldn't be asking such generalized questions as yours. I am a senior member on other forums and I know that it irritates the heck out me when newbies want everyone to fill them in on everything without taking the time to read and search. I can tell you I have spent many hours here researching for my upcoming trip to SEA in April, and due to that I think this will be my best mongering trip yet. I am sure that the senior members here wouldn't have a problem answering specific questions if you have those, just make sure that you searched before asking. For example, if you want to know if #12 at Annie's does anal you can go to the Annie's thread and do a search or even PM Aey, I believe she does by the way.

[url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukhumvit_Road"]Sukhumvit[/url] is a main road (= "thanon", in Thai language) in Bangkok. A "soi" is a side-street on a thanon. Even-numbered sois are on one side of a "thanon" and odd-numbered sois are on the other side.

Robinson is a department store located on Sukhumvit road, between sois 15 & 19. Several freelancers are available near the front of the main entrance when the night has fallen.

Thermae is a coffee shop also located on Sukhumvit road, near soi 13.

Bier Garten is a bar located on Sukhumvit soi 7 (you have to enter the soi and walk a little bit, and the bar is on the left side of the soi at around 30 meters from the jonction with the main road). No barfine here, all the girls available are freelancers. Several girls come here early in the afternoon.

Gulliver's Tavern is another (more stylish) bar of this kind. It's located on Sukhumvit, soi 5 (again, you have to enter the soi too, and the bar is on the right side of the soi, at around 40 meters from the jonction with the main road).

Nana hotel parking lot is on Sukhumvit soi 4 (so, on the other side of the road, and at around 30 meters on the right from the jonction). Many freelancers are available here during night time.

Are you looking for a "girl friend experience" a "porn-star experience" or what? Describe what you want in detail and someone might be very helpful. Otherwise they can't be bothered. But my best advice is still to try a bit of everything and see what you like from that.

I was in Queens Park in November and used to go there a lot in the past 4 or 5 years (never knew it was called Queens Park but I learn something new every day!). I'm glad to hear that you had a good time but in recent times I have found it to be boring - girls don't chat to you as much and although there are a few good looking ones, I don't get the impression they are really that keen.

The bar at the back with the 3 or 4 pool tables used to be my favorite - barfined many a girl from there in the past. But recently I found that the attitude has changed - girls pay absolutely not attention to you. Also, in the bars I have met girls who want 2,000 short time - not really my style as I can get that for half the price at Nana parking from about 11pm onwards or head to any of the freelance places. 4,000 long time is also too high, esp. if you put a hefty bar fine on top of it and she raids your minibar.

However, the last bar on the left side of soi 22 as you walk away from Sukhumvit still seems to be happening. girls are not absolute stunners but they dfk you in the bar and I have even had some upstairs action about one year ago.

robinson: the ones who hang out here tend to be on the rough side, from what i remember seeing. another spot like this is down in front of starbucks between soi 3 and soi 5. cheap but rough.

thermae calls itself a coffee shop but for all intents and purposes is a bar. for what sexy wants, this is probably his best bet, or at least a must-see.

biergarten has plenty but they're not the cutest or youngest out there. more the opposite. take a peek but i don't expect you to stay long once you get a look (if you stay at all).

nana parking lot: in my experience, this is only worth checking out at the time the nana go-go bars close (2am?) when suddenly lots more girls (and guys) show up all with the same thought in mind. that's when you'd be most likely to find the unexpected gem. before that and you're certain to find something much better inside nana just across the street for slightly more. that said, i always check it out if i'm still available at 2am. throughout the evening, there'll be 5-10 girls standing over there, and then at 2am dozens appear.

climax: this is the new name of the disco in the basement of the ambassador hotel -- used to be "spicy." lots of people like this place but i found it difficult to navigate for a person with only one thought on his mind (find a girl). really loud, really crowded, and difficult to tell who's alone, who's available, who's working and who's not. also difficult to see what the girls look like since it's so dark. i didn't come all the way to bangkok to go on blind dates.

cm2: this is in the basement of the novotel and is more high end than the sukhumvit fl venues. the place is full of fl, dressed better due to the classier environment, with the added aspect of its having lots of girls from places like kazhakstan and uzbekistan (among other former soviet states). much higher prices for those tho, without the much higher quality in looks you might hope for, actually more like the opposite.

Kind of the Soi Cowboy of massage places. If he gets out there, can walk around and check a bunch of them out in person in one evening.

I have been reading the reports and looking at the maps. My question is, what hotels. I can get free rooms at the sheratons and westins. Also the resorts. Would I be better off not staying here or something closer to action. Do these hotels upcharge, as I have read, for girls to the room.

Androgel is the most commonly prescribed testosterone supplement in the US. Google it to get all the medical information. If you suffer from erectile disfunction, many doctors will/should check your testosterone levels before prescribing Viagra etc. ED can be caused by low testosterone in addition to cardiovascular issues.

I have been on this supplement for a couple of years now and have traveled in Asia with it. I generally cut back on my daily dose at home to stockpile a large supply for mongering. Then I ramp up the dose when I hit my destination. Because it's a gel, it has to be packed in the suitcase. It comes in both large plastic bottle dispensers as well as small foil packets.

The testosterone is absorbed slowly through the skin after the daily application. It increases your libido and enhances your mood. I've learned through experience that you have to be careful with higher doses because you can get irritable and agressive. The libido increase is not instantaneous after application. Starting it a couple of days before a trip might be a good idea.

It's rather expenseive without insurance as I recall. My co-pay is $35 for a monthly supply. Before I got on the prescription, I found a source out of Eastern Europe that I used briefly. It was expensive and I really don't know if it was effective or not.

For those of you on prescription Viagra/Cialis, I would recommend making sure your doctor has checked your testosterone levels. Pm me for additional info and I'll try to reply in the forum.

Maybe you got some sort of prima donna who fancied herself the Queen of QP!
