Presently I'm researching re a location to visit for 2 months in March & April of 2014. Hong Kong is at the top of the list. Other serious options are Macau, Japan & Calcutta, with Singapore and Thailand being off the table.

Having recently resumed investigations into Hong Kong hotels, and allowing a 50 percent increase in my budget for the same, after countless hours of reading I've been encouraged by finding a few decent possibilities. Even some around the 2000 USD a month range. Though the daily rate would be much higher & I'm not sure I want to pre pay for 30 to 60 days, non refundable, later to find out the internet service is poor, the room has bed bugs or noisy construction, etc, and be forced to flush up to 6G down the loo. BTW, I've seen some indications that HKG hotel rates go up significantly in my target period relative to September rates.

Maybe I need to downgrade HKG. What do you think? In Tokyo they don't even lock their bicycles.

What is the best area of HKG for the "one woman brothels"? Are they safe or do many foreigners get rolled there too? I've never heard of that happening in super sanitized Singapore.

It appears to be a new one in the middle of Wanchai right around the Queen Victoria. I can't see a sign on Google street view, but that is probably because it just opened in August '13.

Hongkong may be a Little more "used" look but I still at a high Standard compared to other Asian cities. At least in the more upscale Areas.

The only Problem in Hongkong is space, thats why Hotels are that expensive. I get a 9 square meter room I HK while I would get a 25 sqm in Macau for the same Price.

And by the way, in Terms of savety the same applies to Macau. No Problems what so ever.

Not sure why Thailand wasnt on the list, but if I had to spend two months I would not take more then 2 weeks in Hong Kong and surounding areas.

What I have done is create a profile in hongkongcupid and been honest about what I am after.

BTW, there's no way I'll be paying the equivalent of 200 USD for a ST:

One hundred in SG for only 30 minutes is bad enough. Though I believe there are Thai options in HKG for like 20 bucks. Just to name one more economical option besides a Merry Ann job. Yet I wouldn't be coming to HKG for its prostitution scene, which I know very little about, but mainly as somewhere safe to go & relax when I can't be banging in LOS. Not that I wouldn't partake from time to time, if I was in the mood, horny enough, & the bait & price was right.

Another option besides spending the 2 months in HKG would be to do reconnaissance missions in several different locations, just to check them out in case Siam or SG ever go tits up as it regards being suitable pooning destinations. Such as Macau, Taiwan, Tokyo, Osaka, Shenzhen.

I have lived on and off in HK for many years, and currently in Singapore. I feel that the Wanchai quality (GFE, looks, girl-next-door) has progressively declined over last 5 years.

More recently, in 2013, I have noticed further decline in quality and numbers. Is this my imagination, or perhaps I was visiting at wrong time? Someone mentioned some sort of change in visa policy? I know Neptune II has closed.

Can someone enlighten me?

Ah! The refrain that girls were more pretty than 10 years ago. I don't think that girls are any more beautiful or ugly. The sex scene gets a cross-section of all types pretty / ugly / fat / skinny. I often travel to OZ for work and there are many stunning girls. Though it doesn't have a bar scene like Asian countries.

My observation as a provider is that their are still handsome guys out there. Lots of them.

Ladies are using the internet more. Have friends who instead of going to bars 6 days a week only go 3 days per week. Therefore less ladies going to the bars. And its harder for Filipina's to get regular visa's into HK. And there are more ladies on the street as some groups aren't allowed into bars. And with the LE being strict its harder for ladies to get into bars. So it's right to say that the bar scene is a bit quieter in Wanchai. But don't forget that wanchai is only a small part of the overall sex scene in HK. Still have go go bars / 141'2 / K pressure / massage places / a million karaoke bars / one woman operations and many others.

So possibly the guys should not use Wanchai bars as there only punting place!

Thanks for the informative post Chantik. Whilst I will still spend an evening or 2 in Wanchai come February, I am relocating to Kowloon side for the bulk of my stay and adventures. Recall a good time with a pick up on the Walk of Stars a few years back.
