I'm currently in Monterrey. Just flew in last evening. Here is the day 1 report of my trip. Hope this early intel proves useful.

Airport / Taxi:

Monterrey is a nice and modern airport. I arrived last night around 7 pm and it was fairly busy. I used QuackUp's post about the taxi kiosks since I didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting an Uber at the airport. One option if you do intend on using Uber is heading to the gas station near the airport for an Uber pickup since technically you aren't allowed to get picked up at the airport. It's about a 5-7 minute walk, but be mindful of your belongings and if it is worth the trek. Like QuackUp said there is a group of automated kiosks for taxis that are easy to use in the airport. With the touchscreen you select your ride size ("sedan" or "camioneta") then you select which zone your destination is in. Mine was Zone 3 for the Fiesta Americana Pabellon M hotel. Then you select which taxi company you want. It lists several and I just used Golden. It was 700 pesos, up significantly from the 450 when Quackup did his initial report in 2023. Another company I saw was a bit cheaper, 600 pesos, but I decided to stick with Golden since QuackUp said he had a fine experience with them. So it might vary in price slightly between companies. You can pay with cash or debit / credit card at the automated kiosk. I paid with a debit card and then I took the printed receipt verifying payment to the taxi stand. This is better paying upfront than dealing with potential gringo pricing. The receipt has three stubs. I believe one you keep, one goes to the taxi driver, and the third goes to the taxi stand monitor guy. Keep them all together. It gets torn when you actually manage to get a taxi and seems to be divided between the three parties. At the taxi stand there will be an official airport guy with an electric tablet / machine guiding people to the lines and asking you which company you chose. Unfortunately for me there was a huge delay to get a taxi. I stood in the Golden company line for about 30 minutes! When a Golden company taxi finally came up the taxi monitor tore the stub and handed it out to each party. Aside from the delay, my ride ended up being tricky as well. During my ride the driver kept saying "caseta caseta" and my Spanish is little to non-existent so I couldn't make out what words he was trying to tell me along with that. Lo and behold I did finally put it all together, but only when it was too late and after the fact. He was telling me "caseta peaje", "toll booth", there were highway toll booth fees! I could't believe it. We were suddenly on the highway heading to Fiesta Americana Pabellon M when toll booths appeared. The driver kept asking for money. He mentioned I think seventy or sixty. I thought he couldn't be serious? Surely that is included in the prepay kiosk fees for zone 3? I thought he might be pulling a fast one on me and was in on it with the toll booth operator so I acted dumb and tried to tell both of them I have no pesos, only "dolares" so then he was asking me for a debit / credit card. QuackUp's report for the same taxi trip made no mention of the toll booth. I thought maybe my driver took me on a longer less direct route. Why would you take me through a highway with tolls? There aren't any other routes? I didn't want to cause a scene so I just forked over the 60 peso toll fee. I'm not a miser or anything, I just found it odd and was thinking maybe they were trying to make some money on the side from some gringo. I did ask the hotel staff at Fiesta American if it is customary for them to not include the toll booth fee in the taxi charge if you prepay and they said yea it is normal. So I don't know. Anyway ye be warned! I thought I was back in Pennsylvania or some other East Coast American state with all of their highway toll fees.

Hotel.

As mentioned earlier I decided to stay at the Fiesta American Pabellon M hotel. It is a nice four star hotel located in a shopping mall that has fashion stores, multiple banks (BBVA, Citibanamex), food court, and even a movie theater. My reasons for staying here are due to Elvis 2008 and QuackUp's previous reports on how girl friendly the hotel is and its proximity to multiple banks. You can meet your girl on one of the levels in the mall and supposedly easily bypass the lobby. I'm unsure how that works exactly as to reach the elevator to access the hotel rooms you still have to circle around the lobby. So maybe they're just really lax? I did see a security guard at night. I don't know, but I intend on having multiple girls during my several day stay and am worried. - I couldn't find the Samaras website to see the ladies available. Please share website. I tried multiple ways to search like mentioned below.

Has anyone stayed at any love hotels like Hotel Plaza Arteaga or Hotel Washington recently? I did RTFF and I haven't seen a report on or including any love hotel in a while. LovesToSploog had a report back in February which included Arteaga. After many years of regular trips to Guadalajara, work is finally sending me to Monterrey next week. I wish they'd chosen a slightly cooler time of year, but I'm still happy to see some place new. I've regularly enjoyed the scene in GDL but I've been very focused on agencies, and a few independents strongly recommended on the local forum. It seems like agencies aren't as important in Monterrey (and from what I've seen they're a bit more expensive) and I haven't found an equivalent to the local forum. Anybody have any recommendations where to start? Since you are going for work then you are saving some costs in lodging and food, but for everything else there is nothing cheap about MTY. There are many better choices in Mexico now. CDMX is 25-40% cheaper, way better food, better weather, (minus the rain), and lots of single girl's that are looking for foreign guys.

As I have said many times there lots of hot girls running around San Pedro, but a large percentage are not willing to go out with foreigners or just not available. Depending what happens with the economy maybe this will change, but for the moment I would go to other destinations.

You find your chica then go down stairs and pick your stall. No doors or curtains, you will be banging your chica then look to the left or right and you will be seeing other chicas taking a dick, it can be shady but I have never had a problem and have had some amazing action for under $80 including cover and a few beers. For 2 great Monterrey dining experiences I recommend Indio Azteca (truly old school) or Cabrito del Rey for some fantastic goat.

First of all, thank you to those who offered advice. It was much appreciated! And the recommendation of Cleops was spot on (more on that in a moment).

Krystal Hotel was a little disappointing. The room was pretty worn, the couch was stained, the desk had a bunch of gouges in it, the shower shot a jet onto the toilet if you opened the door with the shower on, and most importantly the internet cut out completely every few minutes which meant that I couldn't do any online meetings from my room. I wound up taking a couple from the Starbucks around the corner. Other than it wasn't terrible, and the bed was comfortable, but if work is paying I can probably do better.

Sheraton Gallarias. One of the best hotels. Traffic around Gallarias is awful, but the hotel is nice. No problems with bringing girls here, although the front desk is prominent.

I had no problems with Uber other than some of them nosy in general what I am doing there in MTY and / or very religious and I can sense the guilt (although I not feel guilty at all since God never gave me a wife and beautiful). They "know" where they are taking us LOL. Is my quandary right now. My next trip to MEX in Nov. I chose Tijuana since although more dangerous to overall population I not get any "Nosy" questions. In Tijuana they either already know why I there (Zona Norte) or see so many Gringos is no big deal.

I would take bus from Laredo and stay in MTY zona sexo however I not comfortable there at night time for regular dining out, sports bars etc. And I do not want to work from a love motel.

Appreciate the advice I was given prior to my trip to Monterrey which was quite enjoyable.

I wanted to post a few tips from what I learned from my experiences which might be of help for someone visiting for the first time.

First, where to stay. I would strongly recommend the Fiesta Americana. Reasonably priced, in a decent / rel safe area, good breakfast, and appears girl friendly. Hotel is connected to a mall so there is a lot of traffic going by, so none of the hotel staff seem to care who is coming and going. My advice is to have the girl meet you on the 16th floor (where the restaurant is) which doesn't require a key car, and then proceed to your room from there. Better than loitering around the lobby, but I don't think anyone will care.

I had asked about changing money, but no one responded, but I can make a recommendation -- a 5 min walk from the Fiesta Americana is Dolares. They are open 24/7 and have excellent rates. No reason to get money from an ATM in my view. I would expect the conversion from your bank to be worse.

On to the action.

I followed the advice here and went to Cleops. Definitely the place to go. They actually have two "casas" which the girls may be spread between, so you may want to ask to visit both.

Prices vary slightly from girl to girl, but can expect 1200-1600 for 40-50 minutes which is a good amount of time. The place is actually quite clean, all rooms have a nice shower, and the staff is very committed to service. My spanish is not great, but it was no problem. For this very reasonable amount, I received DFK, BBBJ (with DT), DATY /69, MPOS. I think only one SOG. I don't know about CIM / COF / Greek as I didn't ask. I imagine it would vary by girl and would be an extra. Ladies are 5-9, but I don't think you will struggle to find someone you like.

I had 4 sessions over three days. Including with one girl on three consecutive days.

The two ladies I saw were excellent, and I can HIGHLY recommend.

Melanie is a star. A solid 9, very beautiful and exceptional service- I was addicted. Hence three days in a row!

Kelly (at least an 8) - a beauty and excellent service, though taller and more skinny than Melanie.

They have different "classes" of women at different rates. If you go this route I strongly recommend going for the Diamond / Diamante level. Overall compared to Cleops, it is not a good value.

I saw two ladies, after explaining to the booker that I preferred petite women.

1. Priscilla (I think Deluxe class. One below Diamond) -3500/90 minutes. She was 6, not facilally pretty to me. What really was a turn off was that she was LFK and CBJ only. It was a real turn off. I realized I made a mistake. Finished round 1 within a few minutes. Round 2 was not offered, but I was not going to be excited. I did contact the booker and he assured me they had not gotten feedback like this before. He did say kissing and BJ method was at the girl's discretion. Given the cost and the alternatives available. Was not good /.

Despite the bad experience, I decided to TOFTT to see if Diamond class would better.

I prefer to fly from SAT on Viva Aerobus or Volaris only 46 minutes but the recent USA Govt. Shutdown with air traffic controllers not being paid I may rent a car, drive to El Paso and stay there then visit the several MPs just south of the border from Zaragoza bridge. I just don't like a lot of time in a plane or bus close to others.

I've never been through the Zaragoza Bridge side though, hope it's better and fun.

I am having an awesome time overall in Monterrey and will write a trip report soon. That said, I had two issues arise today involving overcharging.

1. Pasarela: Despite a poster hanging on the wall in the bar detailing girl drink charges, the waiter told me those prices are happy hour charges ending at 2300 hours. After paying him, I inquired to the cashier near the exit as to whether the drink prices listed were all day or happy hour prices. She said it was all day / night. I was overcharged 100p which then the waiter, seeing me at the cashier counter, readily handed me back 100p without me asking. I was probably overcharged more than that for my drinks too! I talked to him for about 2-3 minutes about how, American foreigner customers, are willing to pay a good tip for good service so long as they think they were treated fairly. He apologized quickly and said he would do better next time. I'll see as I am here for one more week and this bar is a really nice looking bar.

2. Porkys: 2 am. Local beers are 40 p. I've been here multiple times and know the price. However, this waiter charged me 50p for a 5 beer bucket. 250p payable upon closing out. I later asked the cashier for the price of a beer. She said "I don't know" meaning that waiters make up prices at late night. Ok. End of night, I go to cash out and pay via credit card. They charge me 10% card fee. Under a recently passed Mexican law, card fees are illegal and merchants are not allowed to charge such fees. The cashier said she doesn't care and the waiter told me "fuck Mexican law asshole" at which point I said "Que Gey, no eres mexicano, no te importa sus leyes hijo de su puta madre. " I then offered to take things outside at which point two managers said "you paid, time to exit. " I then left.

Lesson to learn: don't let people anywhere take advantage of you. I collected my receipt and called my credit card company, who then credited me the entire bill.

Knowledge is power. Also, I wasn't drunk because I slow drank the night (knowing I'm going to Tigres game later today). I am a Mexican citizen so Im not scared as much when challenged here.

I've seen them post drink prices before so would think the prices are posted at the establishment as well. I've also seen some banner on the outside promoting the price of buckets but maybe they changed. I think that's why guys like TomJackin prefer to pay as he goes and not deal with the surprise bill at the end that often has extra charges on it.

The new law you mentioned has me confused because I like to use a credit card in Mexico when I buy things especially at restaurants and have never been charged an extra fee so when I was looking for information on line I just found that the law was only passed by Congress in Mexico but has yet to be passed by the Senate. So this might explain why they still charge a fee.

I needed a new adventure. Going to the same places, like Tijuana, Havana, Bangkok over and over again got stale. With the help of ISG, I zeroed in to a new locale: Monterrey (Mexico's 3 d biggest city).

Airfare, airport transit, and Airbnb: I bought a one-way ticket on Aeromexico (layover in ATL) for $150. That included a refund of the tourist tax due to being a dual citizen with Mexico (another good reason to apply for those that qualify!) I didn't need a local SIM because AT&T's plan includes calls / data while in Mexico & Canada at no additional cost. I landed and was quickly out the door into the city. I saw a video about taking the bus into the city center from the airport and decided to try my luck. I line up with everyone else for the purple bus across the street from the airport. This would have worked ok but 1. I landed at 5 pm and the buses were packed due to rush hour; and 2. Monterrey is heavily under road and transit construction in preparation for the upcoming World Cup. After 90 minutes of little movement, I got off the bus and took a Didi (rideshare) to my apartment. The apartment was walking distance to Porky's, Central Bus Terminal, and Cuauhtemoc rail stop. My airbnb was $30/ night, seemed clean and very secure with no security guard at the doorway.

Cleops. Wow, such a great place! A massage shop with 20+ girls working. Girls set their own prices. The girls line up together and give a thorough explanation of services while mounting you so you can feel the goods front and back before choosing. I generally paid 1000 p-1200 p for 40 minutes. Every service included GFE, BBBJ and CFS. No tips were ever requested by any of the girls; they just ask that you ring the bell in the lobby if you received good service. There is a whatsapp group to see their lineup, and a QR code in the lobby adds you to their contact list where you receive a few messages with lineup, specials, etc. Also, after service, you are offered the opportunity to purchase credit toward future service at a 10% discount. Tip: No change will be given if you do not use the whole total, so I suggest buying 1000 p for 900 p. Then you just pay the difference during the next session. Keep the receipt copies! The white gets turned in for the next session. The yellow copies accumulate: When you have 10.000 p worth of receipts, you get a free session. Their Frequent Fucker Program! Also, I chose a different girl every visit and none of the girls ever acted jealous in front of me for not repeating. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Porkys & Mautehaula (main location). These two clubs are right across the street from each other. Beers were 40 p. Girls usually wait for you to signal them over. Lady drinks were 150 p or so. Porkys has a telegram group that is very active and sends multiple messages a day. In Mautehaula, all prices are listed on the wall in the club. There is something for everyone in these clubs. I did not see another foreigner the whole time I was in either club. In Mautehaula, I did a 20 min session for 1200 p with a MILF I adored, however, choosing a basement stall vs a room was less than ideal; I couldn't see the girl but felt everything. The stall is charged by the song and felt rushed because the attendant kept calling out when a new song started and the girl always screamed back to acknowledge. It was so dark also that I could hardly see the girl but everything felt great, really GFE. As for Porky's, one downside is that the staff start extra hustles late night, charging 50 p for beer, and when you asked anyone else what the price was, the common response was that the employees didn't know and to ask your waiter. They also charged me 10% extra for using my credit card when Mexican law does not allow this. I called my credit card the next day and the charge was reversed which was very nice. Mautehaula's second location on Cuauhtemoc (as all of the bars in that area) looked rougher and I didn't see anything worth selecting but had fun in each for a one beer and exit barhop.

Cielo. Another awesome bar where I had a great experience. All drink prices and lady drink prices listed on the wall. No hustle, you signal the girl you want over to you. Here, I had a girl scream my name when she recognized me from Hong Kong in Tijuana. We spent a few hours together, and after the bar closed, she took me to an underground bar / party where you had to knock to enter and be let in by security. At 9 am, I called it a day and headed home but the party was still going strong!

Massage houses or Casas. There were so many in centro that it is impossible to mention them all. They charged 500 p-600 p for 20 minutes. When I sessioned at these, the girls did try to upsell for GFE, taking off clothes, etc. , but after a couple minutes of charm and chat, all the girls ended up doing right for me for small tip (usually 50 p-100 p) I got GFE, BBBJ and all clothes off and wasn't chased out when time was up. The general way to tell what was a casa was a colored light string above the door and sometimes a security guard outside of the door inviting you in. The available girls were sitting on the sofas in the foyer with a mamasan welcoming you as well.

Pasarela. One of the best looking clubs in town. Under new management. Clean and an active Instagram page. Here, you should pay for drinks on a rolling basis. One waiter was caught multiple times in one night padding bills. After pointing it out that he did the same to me, he gave me back 200 p quickly and asked me not to complain. It sucks because I really did have fun but just don't like the thought of having my bill padded.

Obsession was, far and away, my favorite club. Enter before 6 pm and get a 4 course "executive platter. " The club looked great. The staff was very professional. Signs everywhere saying that any tip is voluntary and that, should you be asked for a tip to report it via staff or a phone number listed. Beers 50 p. Lady drinks were 300 p for a pitcher of drink choice of the girl. Later at night, the second floor is available for karaoke. On my birthday, the cover charge 100 p was waived and the girls sang Las Mananitas (Happy Birthday) to me. I got plenty of phone numbers here for takeout but ran out of time before actually doing it.

Getting around town. Uber and Didi function well here. Didi was usually cheaper. However, the metro system works great here and was very easy to use. 10 p for a metro ride, 15 p for a bus ride. 20 p fare card that can be reloaded at any stop. I used the app MOOVIT to track how to get around. I literally moved around the entire city with public transport, to include getting from my apartment to the airport for 25 p on my final day. Google maps got me around for walking the city.

Touristy things. I visited the great Parque Fundadora, Mexico baseball hall of fame, 8 different museums, did a boat tour along the trail, watched an IMAX movie, and saw semi-final playoff games for Rayados and Tigeres. I visited multiple churches to include the Cathedral and also the Basilica de la Virgen de Guadalupe in the mountainside. I ate at many food stalls throughout the city and bought many juice drinks as well. For Christmas, I saw Luztopia and MacroNavidad festivals. I took over 1000 pictures and movies of my comings and goings. I always felt safe, even when walking around alone at night. Again, I'm a big mexican guy that speaks fluent spanish.

Next trip. I ran out of time to do the following:

1. Safari. During the week you use your own car. On weekends, you can ride on the safari bus.

2. Going to regular clubs, rooftop bars, and hanging out with locals. I had a great time, but I definitely feel that I could accomplish more with a wingman or a local.

3. Baseball game. Baseball was out of season, so my next trip will be during the baseball season.

Exit. Using public transportation, the 1 hour ride to the airport was only 25 p. $175 flight nonstop on United got me home. The united agent filled out my exit form for me and told me to keep it in my Mexico passport. A short flight home later, I passed through quickly with Global Entry and was soon home.

Would I return? Yes, absolutely. It's a great alternative to Tijuana.

Would I recommend Monterrey to others? For people with excellent command of Spanish, yes. For people who struggle speaking Spanish, definitely no.

There are certain laws that go into effect without senate approval such as the case here.

In Mexico's bicameral Congress, ordinary laws generally need approval from both the Chamber of Deputies (lower house) and the Senate; however, the Chamber of Deputies holds exclusive power over the federal budget and public accounts, and can pass some legislation, like certain legal reforms, with simple majority without Senate involvement.

The part I'm still confused about is why the news articles I read stated that after the Congress vote it had to be finalized in the Senate. I can understand how the Congress has certain jurisdiction and some things don't need Senate approval but it didn't seem like this law feel into that category. So I really wasn't trying to speak to things that I don't know, nor was I calling you a liar, I was simply trying to verify the law and how I interpreted it from what I read. I tried looking for when if ever the Senate passed this law but I couldn't find anything so maybe that means that the Senate didn't need to do anything and the news outlets were incorrect.

Either way I again appreciate the time you took on this matter and for those that have read this banter between the two of us have learned something when or if they try to use a credit card in Mexico and the business adding a service charge. I'm not sure how you explained this to your credit card company to get the transaction credited but sounds like a good company. Maybe since it was such a small amount they didn't have to investigate it. When I was looking at the law they gave numerous options on how to report businesses that break the law so they can be properly reprimanded and punished. Did you bother with this or just figured since you didn't get charged you had no hard feelings towards the establishment?

Decided to take advantage of my three day weekend due to the MLK holiday to travel again to Monterrey. This is my 2nd mongering trip to the city. I was last there April 2025. As usual with my reports I have every section organized to make it easier for you to read and skip parts. My Monterrey report last year already discussed the airport, customs, taxi and other general trip stuff so I will just focus on the chica reports this time.

AGENCY: Gigi's Girls.

Booking with Gigi is always difficult to say the least. Honestly, I always consider it a miracle when I actually manage a successful booking. I strongly recommend using them over Western Union since they're faster. The Twitter page has been banned (El_coach_mty) but the direct link to the public Telegram chat for this group with photo previews of the girls can currently be found on Gigi's Telegram channel and the admin's direct username is jorgegzz221. No one on ISG has shared intel on this group so I basically had to TOFTT and report back while also having some faith that Gigi was recommending someone legit. Other mongering cities have VIP groups similar to these like the Kalimann VIP group in Tijuana. Basically, you pay a fee to enter a Telegram group. As of today it is 350 pesos for a month membership and 500 for two months. After you pay the fee you enter this private Telegram group that lists girls, their photos, age, and location in the MTY area. It is all private and you CANNOT share the photos or girl's information. To actually book the girl you have to pay an additional 250 pesos for the girl's contact info. From there you get a personal password you must share with the girl authorizing the contact. After that it is up to you to actually schedule a meet with the girl. I'm sure you're thinking well doesn't the cost add up getting contacts for all these girls? It's a large list of girls. REALLY LARGE, but realistically depending on your location in Monterrey that narrows your options. Since my hotel was in centro I only could see girls that were willing to travel there. And not all of the girls are available or still working. They don't really have set hours and these girls definitely seem to be semi-pros. Alright on to the girls I saw:

You will DISCOVER that it's not accepted anywhere! Especially international. 100% useless.

Get a Schwab or Fidelity account. They rebate all ATM fees which really adds up when you travel. I had over $200 rebates last year.

I never pulled more than 6000 pesos per transaction but think the max is about 10,000. I noticed Santander VAT fees were lower compared to other banks.

No rejects or errors. None.

I went to Monterrey over Easter weekend after a long gap since my last visit. Because of long airport security lines and chaos, I avoided Viva nonstop flight and chose to travel by bus both ways, Tornado Bus on the outbound ($100 fare) and Omni VIP on the return ($80 fare), both were overnight trips that helped me save time and maximize my stay. One unexpected crap was that Mexico immigration at the Neuvo Laredo border charged me a $55 permit fee for land entry, even though my visit was only for four days. My understanding was a permit fee is for stays longer than seven days, but too tired to argue with immigration as I wasn't the only one being charged. The USA border crossing (took less than 30 minutes) on the return was a breeze compared to Mexico border crossing (took almost two hours).

I stayed two nights at Hotel Plaza Arteaga and two nights at City Express by Marriott Monterrey Centro. Hotel Plaza Arteaga was surprisingly clean and modern for a two star hotel, with an on site restaurant, priced at about $50 per night (breakfast was good but not included), the rooms are dim with blue lights on the floor like a love motel, lacked proper work desk, the area was rundown and felt rough but safe during the day, never ventured out walking at night. City Express Marriott Centro, at around $100 per night with breakfast included is a solid business hotel in downtown business district, good bed, desk and bathroom, safe both during day and night, no complaints whatsoever. Both hotels have nearby ATMs and convenience stores. None of the ATMs in this city took my Capital One debit card, but Chase debit card worked here.

Easter weekend turned out to be one of the worst times to visit Monterrey. Many regular Depas and establishments were closed, relocated, or operating with limited hours and girls. Still I managed to discover a few new spots while walking around and searching for familiar ones. One place I had particularly good luck with was a Depa on C Manuel Doblado 1148, right next to Depa 4 (1142 C Manuel Doblado). I had five sessions there, three different girls over three days and wasn't disappointed, paying around 800-900 pesos for an hour. I checked out Tokya Men Spa on Reforma 533 oriente, and a few other Masajes Deseo, Samaras and Casitas nearby, some quoting me tips more than the session fees, wasn't convinced I would get good service. Cleops was closed for the Easter weekend. I also checked out Matehuala nightclub, but a couple of good looking ones were with other guys, and the remaining ones weren't appealing.

Most regular massage spots were also closed or had limited availability due to Easter weekend. The only one I could visit was Mandala Spa, located a bit farther out near Campestre Mederos (Uber ride alone 200 pesos each way). I paid 1200 pesos for a 90-minute massage, it was average standard massage, I've had better in Tijuana for less. On the food side, I tried a few restaurants besides the ones in my hotel, Vegan Munch in Centro, Tea & Masala in Plaza Nuevo Sur mall, Hare Krishna in Barrio Antiguo. I checked out Lords Spa in Barrio Antiguo during closing time, they offer Tantra massage for 1800 pesos for an hour, will try that next time if I make it back here.

Overall the trip was okay across the border, closest big city in Mexico from me. It would have been much better without the Easter closures, long bus rides, and the unexpected immigration fees / queues. Considering the time and cost, I probably could have gone to Colombia for a more fulfilling experience.

Currently on a 7 day trip in Monterrey for a strictly mongering vacation. I am on day 2. My chica reviews for the first couple days are in progress and I will post my full report for the whole trip upon its conclusion. Firstly, a few updates on the MTY scene that I've noticed. It's only about a 1 HR 15 min nonstop flight and also the overnight luxury bus option, which makes it easy to get there without dealing with the airport hassle. Besides hobby, there isn't much to do as it's industrial city.

Mexico City is my favorite if the priority is food, culture, nightlife, museums, neighborhoods, and simply having a huge city to explore. The hobby scene is more expensive compared to Monterrey and Guadalajara.

Guadalajara hobby scene is somewhere in between. It has unique culture, great food, mariachi, historic architecture, and a relaxed pace than Mexico City, excellent base if you want to experience Jalisco beyond the city itself, especially the Tequila town, you can easily make a day trip out of visiting the town, agave fields, and distilleries.

Monterrey is primarily an industrial city, so not really a destination besides the mongering scene. There are a handful of interesting things to do: mountain hiking and viewpoints, Barrio Antiguo, Parque Fundidora, Paseo Santa Lucía, museums, and some good food and nightlife. Personally I think 3–4 days is plenty for Monterrey, after that it may start to feel repetitive.

Compared with that, $348 round trip from NYC to MTY is a pretty good deal.

If flights were cheaper I would definitely go more often, I try to avoid Laredo at all costs, just too dangerous, to drive now. Bus is an option, but takes up a lot of time and I have deal with Laredo.

Of the three cities I have been to in Mexico (the other two are Cancun & Tijuana), there is no doubt in my mind that I liked Monterrey the best! I actually stayed in a nice hotel in the upscale suburb known as San Pedro Garza Garcia. It was super modern and organized with lots of good shopping, restaurants, and nice people, not just working in the service industries, but in general. One member here asked me privately how Monterrey as a city compares to Medellin, and although I like both cities, I would give the edge to Monterrey as being the nicer, wealthier urban area. I had zero issues with Monterrey as a place, and it was super easy (and cheap) to get around by Uber too.

[B]The Bad[/B]

The serious problem I had with the trip is that I found the quality of the talent to be seriously, seriously lacking. I patronized 12 clubs during my visit (had planned to hit 14 but 2 were permanently closed), and I didn't see one solid 8 or above at a single one of those clubs. Not nary a one! Indeed, I saw a lot of girls that were fat and / or ugly and / or old and / or all three! Also, I was just in Monterrey about a month ago and reported on how pricing works at Cleops (also in the RODs). Jeanet's pricing was typical, and I doubt much has changed since then. My experience at Cleops is a perfect example of why I always take what guys say about the looks of providers with a huge grain of salt, particularly guys who never post any pictures showing what their supposed hotties look like. In the real world a 5 would be average. Let's see starting at age 18 all the way to age 60. You're looking at a 39-year-old just under 200 pounds in the USA without make up probably not worth many of us would consider attractive.

Me personally I'm ideally wanting 18-25 when I'm buying. Would settle for a fit and fun 35-year-old though.

People's ratings are going to be all over the place. Some like really skinny. Some like really fat. I like chubby girls with curves myself. So a 9-10 would have for me thick thies, big but not fat ass, see cups at least and a cute face. Complexion in general needs to look good. That's dis regarding attitude and skill.

A seven in my book could be thinner than what I described, but not ugly and without baby damage or Jelly Rolls.

This is how I view the matter. It's all subjective, but still there's the average opinion gathered around the mean that will conform with what guys with good taste and higher standards think about the quality of the talent pool. If a guy like that says she's fugly? Then most other guys are going to agree! Even if you, and some others, as individuals subjectively disagree. You're entitled to your opinion. But no need to keep being defensive about this. You have your beliefs about Cleops, and guys like me have ours. The readership can choose whose opinion about the place they choose to accept. I'll just conclude that my decades long record of finding and reporting on where to find attractive tutes in destinations all over the world precedes me and speaks for itself.
