Just coming from Belgrade (which was truly sexually dire. And where fun goes to die), and I'm assuming Sarajevo (much like Banja Luka earlier this month) will be the same. Have no expectations except for jerking off in the bathroom while my Thai GF scrolls through ticktock on the hotel bed.

Slovenia is the only one of those countries with a semblance of a "scene".

Well, my trip through Sarajevo is done. Leaving tomorrow for another town in Balkans which doesn't hold much hope for mongering (sigh).

Honestly, had a great time in Sarajevo, even in the cold of December (maybe because of it). Few tourists, and beautiful country.

A few suggestions:

- Take a ride up the cable car, it leaves from town and is inexpensive. In 20 min (with incredible views) you're walking through snow covered forests, and can check out the graffiti on the old olympic bobsled.

- Take a tour of Mostar and other places. Did a 12 HR tour that stopped at FANTASTIC waterfalls, abandoned town, Mostar and a few other places. Because it's winter It was just my, GF and the driver. Essentially had a private tour for 70 euro each.

- Food is good, nightlife has enough bars to keep one occupied.

In terms of getting laid. Nothing.

Tried one massage place (the only one that looked hopeful), Angel Massage. Right in town. Attractive girl in late 20's gave me a decent massage, but did not offer any extras. I wondered though, as I saw attractive staff and some of them had augmentation (breasts, lip filler) - maybe you need to be a repeat customer?

Even after thoroughly checking out the town (up and down streets for a week) - I couldn't find anything going on sexually at all.

No idea what guys do for fun here, but there's a large muslim population.

I look Norwegian and did get some positive looks from girls, until they saw my GF. Mainly while shopping in the mall (in the women's stores). I found frank talking with the sales girls and such led to a decent amount of flirting. They seemed to like speaking English, a deeper voice, and a sly complement or two. But I could imagine it would be VERY difficult (and take some time. If ever) to hookup.

Even in the nightclubs it did not feel like a hookup situation. It was mostly groups of friends and couples doing their thing.

Simply not a destination for mongering currently. But, YMMV and would LOVE to hear of someones success. .

There are some local girls (you can find girl Ana Crnka on the city of love. Com, but she is not always in Sarajevo, sometimes she is in other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina). I will be in Sarajevo for the Film Festival (Aug 18th to 23rd) and had hoped for some nice company. Balkan ladies are the prettiest in my eyes.

They have the massage beds on the floor, so the worker is much closer to you. I don't recall the workers name, but she is the chubby darker one. Almost looks Indian, but is more likely Roma.

She might now offer extras to everyone, put in the work, find out.
