Guest Friendly Hotels (part deux)
Holiday Inn Select - guest friendly, nice pool, large rooms, great breakfast buffet, and computer center. The food in the restaurant is great but overpriced for dinner but what the heck you can always go to the MetroCenter mall and eat at Campero Chicken for $2 if you want.
Hotel Princess - up the road from Holiday Inn, nice lobby, nice decor in rooms, small pool :(,. I went here one afternoon and spoke with the General Manager and asked about guest politica. Guests are frowned on (this means nothing) but if you stay with us in the future we will permit them for $25 per night. I said, "$25 per night, the Holiday Inn lets me bring in guests free!!" "This is outrageous!"
The GM said "that doesn't sound right, I mean I think the Holiday Inn charges also" - "Not for me they don't" - "O.k. sir, I'll see what I can do"
He returned 2 minutes later and said that if the Holiday Inn is free then I can bring in guets free to their hotel as well, $85 per night (didn't ask about breakfast)
I was really just entertaining myself by asking about the guest prices there the reality is that the Holiday Inn's pool is a whole lot nicer.
Cheers.
I couldn't agree with you more Yohan
I agree, where ever you find them -- Latina women (IMHO) are the most beautiful women in the world. I am not partial to Asians like you. The lack of "arse" and generally flat chests, stubby legs and those box heads. What si up with that?
If that is your thing, cool. Latina's know how to fu** as well!
An Update, A Lot Later than I Promised
An update: Sergio has a new cell phone 011-505-853-7332
If you do not speak good Spanish then follow the instructions below to call and tell him to check his e-mail and he will correspond with Spanish you can easily translate.
As for updates I was a little tardy from November, e.g. I didn' t post anything- Xmas trip indicates that over holiday periods pickings are slimmer, so don't expect much on the 25th, 26th, and Jan 1st. Many places are closed. Claudia has one girl 24/7.
Open casas:
Lorena, lots of girls, same price
Morena was closed until some time this month as the owner was in Nigeria, will check February when I am back. She posted a classified in Diario that at least said that she was closed for the owner's trip, you don't see that all the time. OK , her ad in the Nuevo Diario ( you can see the classifieds online - look under "Bellazas" - appears she reopened.
Claudia open with at best 2 or 3 girls, pricing now C200 1/2 hour C250 for an hour
Cervezeria near the Tip Top chicken on C. Masaya closed as did Imagen, consolidated into a place called Cervezeria Mou on Ave 27 de Mayo, better premises, a good selection of girls, C250
A smattering of mediocre places are in the classified ads, you really need to call them for decent directions and ask #girls, price, A/C etc., as some are pretty dodgy, both girl quality and location, some tough barrios
Bellmary's is still a clip joint for gringos, in Ciudad Jardin, you've been warned
There are a few masaje at your hotel type ads, incuding men to men things so know who you are calling and frankly, blind ads you get who knows what ugly dog arriving at your doorstep. No deal on price either so don't bother.
Clubs - went to Hollywood, 12 GORGEOUS girls, but prices unbelieveable - private dance for 1/2 hour VIP $80 , one hour full service private room $170, all night off premises $300. Amazing. We were the only ones there - $5 cover, a 1/4 rum and pepsi was $14, the staff and waiters all speak English and wait on you like Tattoo from Fantasy island if that is your thing.
Club Venus - a few good girls , no cover, 1 hour with stripper in private room on site C500. Across from Polanco's whcih is still open, dancers start at 9:30, runs till 6 a.m.
Went into Cueto Club - unimpressive and dank. Tried Vale Todo - closed. Ditto the Club 27 de Mayo.
Fenix - near Llantas Kelly is the closest thing to the Titty Twister bar in From Dusk to Dawn you will find, and they tried to tell me the prices are C400 for 1/2 hour vs. the actual rate of C200 for an hour, I would still recommend avoiding this place. Creepy bouncer dude , no light, comatose drugged looking girls on sofas and WAY too many locals for comfort.
Street girls on C. Masaya were horrible, and on Xmas Day the selection was two girls both bad performers, though for $12 it is not like you are getting a Playmate anyway.
To change money if there is a lineup at the airport bank, skip it and Sergio will stop at one of the many Cambistas on the street where I set a record of changing US$100 to C$1625 in under 30 seconds from pulling up to driving away - other than Sundays where they are scarce they beat the banks hands down.
