Relax, this is the Philippines most hotels are girl friendly, if you have the odd girl back at night there should be no problems taking her back to your room.

The only thing you should worry about is if they are staying with you and you’ve only paid for a single room, always stick with a double. The one thing to note on Mactan Island is after dark it’s a pain getting taxis to downtown Cebu if you want to go out, as these places are remote and quiet, but Mactan is nice if you are a beach person.

Thanks for the advice about Cebu, especially those suggesting Macatn Island. I brought a Filipina friend with me who I had met several months earlier, but finally just got to arranging a hook up in PI. Plantation Bay resort was excellent. It was like a honeymoon place. My girl was with me at check in so there were no problems at all, but I got the feeling they would be girl friendly anyway. There was entertainment every night and excellent, inexpensive food from sevreral restaurants right there at the resort. We stayed right there nearly the whole time. Did some swimming, wave runner, etc. We had a great time. If you stay 6 nights, you get a great discount rate. No tipping is allowed, so no worries about that. The pools are huge and there is always something going on. Yes, it is expensive. Even with the discount rate, it was $100 per night. I would highly recommend this resort only if you have one special girl to take otherwise I would stick with someplace in Cebu City. Sorry, boys no pics and no report this time. I might have found Mrs. Nefarious! OK, no wise cracks!

I have stayed both at Shangrila and Maribago Bluewater with company,No problem as long as they register and you pay the "joiner"surcharge.But these are both a half hour drive from the city.The notorious KitKit massage is beside Bluewaters though.Ask for the 4 seasons massage

Great deal,You paid the local rate and the place is really nice,I am deciding between Plantation Bay and Shangrila for my own special friend myself when she visits Cebu from Shanghai

My first night here I hadn't told my chat friends that I arrived yet so I went out to Silver Dollar and Club Exotica. I almost never take from Silver Dollar but I have fun playing pool there. Club Exotica had an irresistable little cutie that I took back for ST. Apparently they're asking for the girl's fee on top of the barfine. The girl, named Joy, didn't ask for anything more so I guess she really gets it. It was 700 for the barfine, 1000 extra for her, and 200 for one lady's drink.

I'm happy to report that Marriott is still guest friendly.

From now on I'll be mostly busy with the chatters, but I'll post on mongering should anything come up.

Do you have any data on Panagsama Beach in Moalboal? In particular a restaurant called Roxy's Italian Restaurant?

Datamater[/QUOTE]I have eaten there a few times in Oct and in March and the food is good. The spagettie was excellent. Never seemed to be crowded either. It seems all places at Pasagsama Beach take their time serving though so be patient. Another good place especially for breakfast is by Quo Vadis resort.

I visited Cebu for the first time several months back and will post a detailed report soon. But on the subject of Moalboal, I was wondering how far it is from Cebu city? What is the best way to get there? Is it worth going there for the diving?

Thank you for any input[/QUOTE]Moalboal is a 2 to 3 hour drive depending on the driver from Cebu City,Hired car is the fastest way there.The diving is OK,But i personally prefer Malapascua
