Thanks brother. Just wondering whether it is close to the hotel that I will be staying. In between family reunion, golf and meals, my time is quite limited and I promised myself that I will try the soapy massage that Thailand is famous for (according to other brothers in this forum). Cheers

I'll dig around because I am sure I grabbed a card or a leaflet or both in case I go to Phuket again. I can tell you where I stayed in a general sense quite eaisly if you already know Patong.
I'll use monger center as a refence point. It's the road with all the beer bars and disco's that is perpendicular to the beach. Now for the let down, that is if staying on the beach is a prioity. It wasn't one for me. I just wanted cheap accomos for sex and sleep :)

1) go to the reference point and make the following reference:
a) face the mass of beer bars
b) the beach should be to your left
2) forget about the beach and walk to the t-intersection
3) you need to cross over to the far side of the intersecting street
4) and turn left
5) check all the hotels in that area
The place I stayed in was quite large. It is a multi-story building with at least five floors and the elevator is outdoors because the lobby is an open air design. The lobby is on your right as you walk by on your way to the elevator.
I was surprised to get the price that I got. I did bargain a little while smiling a lot. The smile must have helped. I remember that this large hotel was not more than one or two hundred meters from the t-intersection mentioned in the reference point.
I enjoyed my stay there. The rooms were more than livable and it took a mere five minutes to walk to monger central. Now I'll go have a look for that card. I just thought I'd give you what I can now in case you are in a hurry (as in you are already there). :)

poster[/QUOTE]I know the name of htat hotel. C&N hotel is good, but if you wald straight through that intersection, and not turn left, you will be on Soi Sansabai. Many hotels on this street. I always stay at Summer Breeze Hotel because I think its the best of the lot. But many to choose from: Orchid Gusthouse, Orchid Residence, Cadillac Mansion, Yorkshire Inn. All are ok and GF and very reasonably priced.

Not in rush for info yet as I plan to revisit Phuket later this Nov, but thought I get my act together early this time and perhaps start saving some money with better intel.(unlike the last time which I got burned using internet prices for Patong hotels)

Phuket - Sharkeys Bar
Rolled into here as all the girls wear school uniforms. Soon caught the eye of this young piece who kept giving me the eye. Every place in Patong is within a short-medium walk or a 20 baht bike taxi ride. Avoid automobile taxis. Slow and rip-off. I usually buy a cheap bicycle and at the end of my stay I donate it to somebody who gave me exceptional service at my accomodation. Those disbelieving expressions of gratitude make me feel better than Santa Claus.
You can rent a bike, motorcycle or car cheaply on the beach (500-1000 THB/day) but I only do that for longer trips.
Thanks brother for the information. I will certainly go there for the soapy massage experience. BTW what time would be good for a session. My free time will most probably be in the afternoon between 3-5pm when the home minister and relatives goes shopping or taking a nap. What would the cost be for a session of soapy massage and specials? Any grading of the girls? Sorry for the ignorance as I will need to be as prepare as possible as my time is limited. In Phuket City next to the Robinsons car park is the Grand Plaza (I think) Hotel Ask any taxi driver and he'll point you in the right direction. More quality pics from Honolulu Jimmy.
I spent alot of time in Thailand, mostly Patong Beach so I can take my time a find only the best.
