Quit mongering completely for a while. Every time the thought comes, divert your attention and do something else. Share your problem with a good friend and seek his help. Spend your free time with him and ask him to dissuade / distract you from mongering. Pick up a sport / hobby / gymming and use your after work / weekend time in that.
