Pattaya Reports

Cloudy and miserable day here today, but that doesn't make much difference to this paradise.

Interesting to see the past 24hrs that the influx of russians this year (I guess their economy is not in the shitter) while there's quite the decrease of tourists from rest of europe)

Each trip there seems to be less beer bars and more hotels and condos being built, Soi 8 has drastically changed in the past 5 years, sunshine hotel has taken over 1/3 of the street.

For high season / just end of peak season, hotel prices (the 600-1000B range) have remained the same or have even lowered.

Dinner traffic (630-8pm) last night on thapprya Road heading into 2nd road was jammed and so was beach Road at that hour while walking street at 730-9pm was quiet, after dinner hours hardly any traffic whatsoever.

Tonight I will see how busy this place truly is and see 1st hand if its a buyer's or seller's market in the gogos.

Strange to see something simple as 2 pc meal from KFC have a new lower price and Kamanga can be had now for 250B for a 4 pack when it was 300B last year.

Have been reading lately that high season in Pattaya is mot the best time to vist with prices higher and girls more picky and not willing to do LT. I am come to Pattaya end of next week and am hoping that it would be back to normal. Am I right or not?

It's still possible to have a good time there but don't expect much help from the staff in the bar. The young guy who was there when I went the other day was so new that he didn't even know most of the girls' names, let alone their specialities.

I still don't know how you get over the problem that a girl who is great fun to talk to is no fun in bed. Not so big a worry for you locals, but as a casual visitor, one night spoiled is a big waste.

I have just checked out of the Penthouse, and it has won me over. It was not totally smooth sailing at the hotel, but once I made my gripes known to reception (after checking into Jasmine Hotel for 1 night) the manager (or so I assume.a non Thai guy, probably in his 30s) set me up with a fantastic room and rate for my second stay. I will do a full report in the Penthouse section.

Most (maybe all?) of my Pattaya photos will be of Lin, the ST beach road girl that I ended up taking 4 times. Much better service than Rain (above average service, but not great) and Cherie (not good, but partly because I was too big, she was too little) that I had at Devils Den, whilst offering all the same services (all holes, lesbian). She was totally happy for photos and vids to be taken, but asked me not to put on internet or sell on VCDs. Therefore, any photos posted will have to keep her anonimity (I may even email her to ask permission. Although that would mean she would have my Psudonym email address, which although she gave me her email address and said she would send me free dirty pics and vids that she will make, I am assuming this will lead to her asking for money at some stage). She charges THB500 ST for most things (including for her half of lesbian show) , though it is THB1000 for anal. I recomend doing both of these things and getting the slightly less busy girl to video the action.

Anyway, I'm rambling as usual. Proper posts to come soon.

The Devils Den moved their website to [url]www.devilsdenthailand.com[/url], as apparently the manager registered the old domain under his name or something. I don't know all the details, but they are still up and running, but I haven't tried since the old manger left. I've heard a lot of the girls were extremely loyal to him, and if he opens a new place they will flock to him.

I have gone there over the past month and I thought it was way overpriced. I found the girls not that attractive and the service mechanical. Maybe a place to try one time but I would say save your money. On the big picture 3600 is 7 Beach road girls or several trips down Soi 6.

Thanks for your time.[/QUOTE]If you are worried about budget then do 3 days BKK and 6 days Pattaya. BKK is more expensive. Best sopie in BKK imo is poseidon. 3rd floor girls are hot but cost is 3000 bth and up.

For me I stsrted spending 5000 my first few days and then when I got used to the place I spent a more reasonable 3000. But depends on your activities. Devils den will cost 3600 so it can add up. My advise when you get to Pattaya don't do devils den right away. Check out the walking st scene and insomnia and beer gardens first and ease into it. The den can be a bit intkmidating and overwelming. You might not fully enjoy it if your nerves are shot.

I spend close to 2. 5hrs in and out of windmill and living dolls 2 a gogo, checked out wibdmill 1st and at betwwen 830-930pm in was relatively busy (75% full to start and 60% at the end) , couldn't find a good place to sit by the mini stage / table where 2 women play with each other, I sat by the stage and enjooyed the view and the playfullness of the ladies.

Made my way into LD2 and I stayed there for the next hour or so, the place was dead (30% full), nice looking talent and a very nice 10pm stage show topless thai style dancing.

Typical high season here, busyness fluctuates every 15 minutes, everything seem same same, including prices for women.

Always wonder if a bar could / would charge guys a 100B door fee to allow them to takes pics during their visit inside.

If I was a bar owner and it was legal under thai law, I would have a "camera night" once a month to boost revenue, it would set my bar apart from the dozens of others in Thailand / Pattaya.

We haven't had a pool in awhile here.

Would you as a potential customer pay the 100B door fee to be allowed to take pics-yes or no?

Cheers[/QUOTE]The peak of high season occured on New Year's eve but the high season, which started in November, will continue on through February and into March. Low season returns in April and lasts through October.

Don't dispair, however, as there is plenty of fun and lots of willing girls to choose from during high season. I'm sure you'll be able to find what you're looking for and have a great time!

Walking Street, where the quality action is, will be fairly crowded at the best venues all year long.

BTW -- the weather is much better, cooler and rarely rainy, during high season.

5000 THB should do fine in Pattaya.

Soapy in BKK, my favorite place in the LOS is Annies. Aey runs the place and she is a wonderful woman and she always has great recommendations. As far as Pattaya, I have not had much luck for soapies, and the quality thereof.

Skip Devil's Den, over rated and not worth the price. Instead, play around Soi 6 and find a couple of girls that play nicely together.

Have fun in the greatest monger's spot in the world!

The key to enjoying DD is to figure out which girls will work well for you (plenty of info available on this and other boards) , and then to take charge so they don't give you their standard routine.

It's a unique place, especially now that Eden in Bangkok has gone so seriously downhill. I'd think most devoted mongers would at least want to give it a try once. If you don't like it, fine. But when it's good it's pretty damn good.
