I just had to make another post to tell you the weirdest thing I've ever seen at a pink salon.My time had just started when I saw walking past me a very elderly man, talking around 80 or so here, with a cane. OK, grandpa needs loving too, seen it before.But the weird thing is he was accompanied by a woman that I could only reason was HIS WIFE who stood in the room watching all the action go down and periodically shouting stuff that sounded like instructions.I thought that she might have been a caretaker or a daughter, but she really looked old enough to be his wife.And the the only reason I could think of that they let her come in with him is that he might have some sort of mild dementia that requires someone he knows to be with him at all times.Anyone else have any theories on this? Been in Roppongi for a few days and have got to know one of the Nigerian touts, he helped me find a product I was looking for that I couldn't find in any of the stores around-spray starch actually, the labels were all in Japanese so no wonder I couldn't find it. Then he translated to me that they wanted to take me to a bar. Instantly I thought it must be a ripoff joint but I figured I would assess the situation when I got there. It was only a block away and looked legit so I paid my cover charge and theirs (Y1000 apiece) and we went in. I was the only gaijin there. I danced with the two girls for a while and we had drinks. One of the girls was kissing me (no DFK, just quick kisses) and doing a little bump and grind, etc and I was thinking things are going well. Then one of them gets a text message and they start talking and they just walked away and up the stairs out of the bar. WTF? So I followed them out to ask WTF is going on but they can't speak English. So we get back to the tout and they ask him to explain to me that their bags are in a locker in Gas Panic and they guy they were waiting for is back at Gas Panic and they need to go meet him, the tout thought it was one of the girls' boyfriend. WTF. So they just wanted me to pay their cover charge and get some drinks and then just drop me. Why didn't they get the guy they were waiting for to pay their fucking cover charge. Cunts.

Not a scam, they just took advantage.

They tease you until the time is up, and if you are desparate and / or drunk enough you will pay extra to get the happy ending you were hoping was included in the original price. This happens in Shibuya because, well, it's Shibuya.

Kanda is the other side of the coin: the default is happy ending, and always with the potential for a "plus alpha" experience. It's rare to find a shop where the happy ending isn't included although they exist.

Problem is, Shibuya is "high touch" and Kanda is "shitamachi" so it tends to be more likely to find oneself drunk somewhere in Shibuya than in Kanda. That's life, at least there is better eye candy while you are stumbling around.
