Had a friend who taught in Japan ...
Are you teaching English in Korea? We often hear Asia has some opportunities for English teachers and I am curious about this.
How do you teach English to kids in Korea or Japan if you don't speak their language fluently?
I had a friend who taught English in Japan. His Japanese skills were almost non-existent when he was hired. Some would even say his english skills were passable at best! lol! There are many opportunities with room and board included. Do a search on the internet. My understanding is that they are looking for native speakers, to pickup accents, slang, to be able to hear the english language spoken. Casual spoken english vs text book english.
