Great report Pipe, you seem to be getting good TLN prices, do you speak fluent Portuguese ? I wonder how much the prices increase if not speak the lingo... (do the girls speak any English)

I speak some Spanish but no Portuguese, the only time I was in Brazil it was two days in Iguazu waterfalls (near Argentine border). No one spoke English there, and for some reason they thought I can understand them (because they thought I was from Argentina - apparantly they do understand each other!?). I'm not that good of a Spanish speaker and found it very hard to understand them.

Anyway, hope to learn some words by Sep. to help me out...

Uzinuzin, glad you liked the report.
No, I don't speak fluent Porto, but I speak enough to get my point across. I also brush up using a small travel guide before every trip. I'm almost fluent in Italian (don't use it much anymore), and my Spanish has always been pretty good. Coupled with my experience in those two languages, I find Porto pretty easy. With some practice you will too.

Those are pretty standard prices for Fortaleza. You can get most girls TLN for R$100-150 no problem. Shouldn't matter if you speak the language or not. Now since you are educated and know the going rate, you can use it to your advantage. Even if you get in a pinch with the language all you have to do is write the number down.
ie, R100 or R150 and the time 1hr or 2 hrs or todo la noite ............ you get the picture.

For your next trip to Brazil get a pocket phrase book (you can buy one or borrow it from the library) and read it before the trip. Take it with you and you will do fine.

Day 4 – spent more time at the beach looking for a decent GdP. Nothing worth taking. It was not a good place to hunt. Great beach and lots of tourists and all, but hardly any GdPs.

He tell me my GdP had called someone else when I went up and this other girl was screaming at him on the phone. This other girl on the phone slipped up and said to him, "when I talked to you I agreed to R150 for 1 hour + R20 for taxi". George was like wait a minute - if I was talking to you earlier about the price then who is the girl here? Busted! Oh so you sent another girl for the program huh!? He hung up on her.
Well, well, well, lookihere - I got the old switchwheroo and it actually worked out in my favor. Ain't that something.
I gave him a tip for a job well done. He was grateful. I went up to get some sleep. After all, I had a plane to catch to Rio tomorrow. And I'd be meeting
with my "girlfriend" from Brasilia for 4 nights. She was due to arrive in Rio at midnight. I knew I'd need my rest for her.

There is no fee either way.
Although, I think I did book my room for 2 guests. But even if you book the smaller room for 1, there is no fee at all.
My preference - whenever I book a hotel in Brazil, I always make the reservation for 2 because the cost is the same.

That is correct! They are girl friendly.

Furthermore, if there is an issue with a girl, the guys at the desk are there to assist. George, Washington, and Arnold are all great guys and they speak English.
On my last day, I had one of them call and assist me in negotiating a better price for a girl. I had ordered a girl 10 minutes prior and got her down from R300 - R200. Then I though about the other 4 girls I had for R150, 130, 120 and 100 (from the bars). So I went to the desk and had one of the guys call and canx for me - explaining to her that her rate was too expensive for Fortaleza. She then went down to R150 plus R20 for taxi. The girl who actually showed up was not the girl I ordered, but man she was smokin'.
A fine ass 21 year old with a killer body. I'm talking her face, tits, flat stomach, and her shapely ass. I gave her an all around score of 9.

I ordered a girl from there on my last day. See my previous reply just below.

The one I got was bait and switch (but what a nice f-in switch). So I lucked out. If you order a girl, wait for her in the lobby. Then if the girl that shows up is not the one you ordered, you can send her butt back. Or if she is the one you ordered but she is not to your liking (because of the wonderful photoshop they do on the photos), send her back.
Also, they are way OVERPRICED. You can easily get a very pretty girl from the bars for R100-150 (did I say easy!!!) That is correct.

Another option - take a cab to Belissima.
Do a girl there for R90 1hr or take her back to your Hotel for R130 2 hrs.
