The only exception, which only applies when changing SIM cards from 2 companies in the same country, is if you request to keep your old number. For example, changing from Verizon to T-Mobile, you can either get a new number or keep the old one.
Changing from Verizon to Claro, that's not an option.

Did you roommate do anything different, like also fail to wash his hands twice, or turn around? In Haiti they still believe in Voodoo, and some weird rituals can make the difference in outcomes.

I judge no one, but if your looking for bare back anything why not look into the PREP, a daily pill which provides about 95% from becoming HIV +.
This being said I just got my blood test results today and I am clean of HIV and STD's and, knock on wood, hope to stay this way.

Anyone gone to Cartagena during Easter time? I'm thinking about going the Friday before Easter Sunday and staying about a week (so well after Easter as well). There are some pretty good flight deals which I'the like to take advantage of.
At the same time, I don't really want to go if the first 2-3 days are going to be completely dead there with all the chicas at home with their families and festivities and all that.

Most girls will be home with their family's. Of course there will be some Veny's who can't afford to keep crossing the border to go home, and back.

December and January are both expensive months because most Latinos take time off then. Avoid holidays, festivals, etc. The chicas tend to go back home.
