This is pretty funny. So basically if you bargain hard to get them down to 1500, then you end up paying 300 more anyway for the ST room... (and I wonder if they get a cut of that??? no idea, just speculating) So the best you can hope to get them down is really to 1800, and if you do, you're in a damn ST room rather than your own hotel room. Might as well pay the 2000 and have them in your hotel. You also save the work and annoyance of the bargaining.

A long term "barfine" probably depends on if she likes you or not, whether her deal with her employer allows an absence, and if there are sponsors in the picture that may be coming back to BKK soon.

A lot of bargirls welcome the chance for a steady income with less of the hustle. Taking her back to Japan might be problematic, though, as I have found that bargirls do not do that well on extended holidays outside of Thailand. They miss spicy food, especially som tam, and they miss Thai soap operas.

I bet you could find a girl who works at a club on Soi Thaniya in Silom who would jump at the opportunity. There's probably women working there who have previously spent time in Japan. Plus, some of the prettiest girls in Bangkok can be found on Soi Thaniya.

Maybe somebody can provide more up-to-date information.[/QUOTE]The trick is to always top up by 300B (not 50B or 100B at a time) as this gives you more expiry time for your buck on a pro-rata basis (300B will give you much more time to expiry in 1 hit than 6 separate 50B top ups or 3 separate 100B top-ups).

Do it so that your account expires only after your next probable visit..have had my number on 12call for last 3 years (ok I come here every 6 months and only need to top-up 300B each time and my expiry date is already Feb 2011). Don't worry if you are not able to use it all, at least you don't lose it and can use it at your next visit (just like any remaining credit on your BTS pass).

And I find it practical to keep the same SIM card (no need to buy a new one each time which costs extra) and my regular FL contacts know it's me calling them up (no hassle for them to update for your new number each time you turn up).

Japan visa for a thai girl especially a bar girl is almost impossible.

if you bar fine her long time just have her stop work. she can always get rehired.

I used to use the True SIM cards from 7-11, but they send you tons of spam texts every day (I literally received four spam texts per day from them for a whole month). I didn't know how to opt out of any of that, so I switched to DTAC/Happy.

These are also available from 7-11, no spam texts, and what's more, when I was leaving this time, I went to the DTAC office in Central World and had a pretty young lady extend the validity of the card for six months. I just told her that I will be out of the country for 4 months, she blippy-blopped on her keyboard, and my card was extended for six months. She said I could come back closer to the expiration date and extend it again, no worries. Didn't know that I could extend it myself, so that's good to know.

The idea that you must be younger than 35 to snag a looker at Climax is incorrect, IMHO. I think it definitely helps if you are good looking, but not a deal breaker if you are not.

Some observations from various nights at Climax:

1. I watched this young, attractive, athletic white guy with a full head of hair bounce from girl to girl getting rejected at every stop for over 2 hours. I'm not sure what he was doing wrong, but it wasn't working for him. I suspect he was asking them straight out if they do anal or something like that, so maybe he was ok with all the rejection. He eventually hooked up with a hag of a girl. I saw him at Climax on multiple nights, and he was having a tough time each of those nights.

2. There is a regular guy there (maybe a member of this forum?) who dresses in a suit, does the super humble wai to all the girls, and seems to be just a very happy soul. He is easily into his mid-50s, not particularly athletic, neither good- nor bad-looking, but seems to be willing and eager to have a good time. I have seen him there on many occasions over the last year or so, and he must be catching some poontang or else he would not return as often as he does.

3. I bumped into a balding early-50s American who was an asshole of the highest order. He didn't give anyone (including me) the time of day, he was looking at all the girls like he was undressing them mentally, seemed like a true slime ball. But here too, he was successful - he seemed to have money, and that was all that mattered.

So here we have one case of a young, good-looking guy who has a hard time, and two cases of somewhat older, not so good-looking guys who are finding success.

Several girls have told me the following. They are looking for a money-making experience, with some good sex, with someone who is not going to rip their vaginas to pieces. So they want sensual sex with a generous man. Often, the young guns are overly aggressive in their love making, end before the girl does, and then because they are young and are using their student loans to pay for this trip to BKK, they are thrifty with their tips. Older guys are often (not always) more in-tuned to the girl, are less vigorous, and often (not always) pay more at the end.

I think the sweet spot for these girls are guys in their mid-late thirties. These people have the looks still, they have enough money, and they are decent love makers. And of course, this is just my opinion.

Conclusion - as with FL, no such thing as a free lunch..

Another thing to be aware with DTAC is that coverage is not as widespread as with say 12-call if you venture in some remote rural areas (e.g. 1-2 hours out of Chiang Mai)

Last year I joined Soprano House. Which is a "G Club" on Soi 26 off Sukhumvit. For those unfamiliar with these types of venues, they are pricey membership clubs where you pay anywhere from 20-30, 000 baht for a set number of bottles (e. G., whiskey, vodka) or beers and additionally pay for time to talk to some very beautiful women. Many are university educated and a lot of fun to party with. They'll pour your drink for you, cuddle, laugh, and make sure you have a fun evening. What you most likely won't get is sex. There's no barfine and from my experience most of these women aren't looking to hook up. However, management does encourage the girls to develop a rapport with you so you'll come back, so getting phone numbers is easy and some of the women will agree to dinner or time at MBK. How you play it from there depends on you and the woman in question. I've gone out with women where it was clear she did so only to make sure I returned to the club so she could make money. I've also developed a genuine romance with a girl last year at Soprano who saw me on nights off and we would go out drinking, dancing, making out, doing hookah, etc. If I were here long enough it could have developed much further. If you're in Thailand for a bit, have disposable income, like to party, want to meet more upscale type of women, and enjoy "the chase" then this type of venue is great for you. Soprano House in particular is very upscale, lush, has an amazing live band, a great DJ. You feel like a million bucks inside.

I'm posting today to give you a sense of my latest experience at Soprano and a warning about how quickly your wallet can get drained. I had to get another membership because the one I had last year dried up. I paid 30, 000 baht and got 100 beers. Divided into 50 beers for me and 50 lady drinks. Soprano has a formula that deducts lady drinks when a girl sits with you. In a typical evening you'll go through about 10 or so. Getting a beer membership is actually a bad call. It's much better to get hard liquor which drains much slower. I had a 20, 000 baht membership at Carribbean that lasted 20 visits and I ended up just paying out the lady time (usually 4500-6000 baht per visit). At Soprano, I figured that I'd get about 5 great nights for my 30, 000 membership roughly $200 USD per visit.

I ended up only getting 3 visits in this time before blowing through 30, 000 baht! Over 3 nights I had about 25 beers (so I have a balance there), but 50 lady drinks went fast. I would guess I spent about 8+ hours with this one girl. She was hands down the best girl I have met at these places. Beautiful, fun, great dancer, and once she gets drunk could not stop french kissing me, which has never happened to me inside these places before and something I haven't observed with others. I'm not sure if it's because she actually likes me. But it's highly unusual.

While the girl was amazing, the value I got back was pretty bad. And I was disappointed with the management in several areas: 1) they overcounted the number of beers I had. Which I had to point out, 2) sometimes when they pour your beer they won't give you the leftover in the bottle, 3) I'm convinced they do not properly tabulate lady time. And you're usually too drunk by the end of the night to know what you're signing, 4) women will come by often to pester you for drinks. Which I find unique to Soprano, 5) extra charges are usually not explained in advance. I was charged for an entire extra hookah (500 baht) when I asked for new coals.

The point is: you have to be really careful. While I was really floored this time by the quality of women at Soprano (e. G., one woman I briefly spoke with had just joined 3 days ago. She was stunning, sweet, cultured and described how she just toured several countries in Asia), I didn't like how the management behaved and I especially felt I got pretty ripped off for 30, 000 baht. If you do want to venture into the "G Club" world, I highly recommend you get a hard liquor bottle membership at the 20, 000 baht level, ask for lady drink charges to be clearly explained, record mentally the time you begin and end with a woman, and make sure you examine the bill very closely. While I used to be a big fan of these places, this recent experience at Soprano House has soured me from visiting these types of venues in the future.

I'm in my 20s and have had mixed experiences with the reactions to my youth. But it's always kind of a nice moment when the girl tells me how old she is (twenty whatever) and then asks me and I'm in my 20s too. It's almost like we have a little bond and we're on the same team.

At times I'll go into a bar and all the girls will be gawking at me and then competing over me rather shamelessly while I'll look around and every other guy in the place will be 50 and slightly haggard and sitting alone. I guess this makes sense since there are so many more guys in their 50s than guys in their 20s that the girls probably get tired of it. A couple girls have asked me why I don't have a huge belly, like they thought that was standard issue for farangs. I love PI but I'm am starting to get the label "butterfly" at some of the bars in Angeles city so I decided to take a break. As far as the GFE experience goes I don't think anyone compares to filipinas especially in AC. P4P in Manila is more similar to BKK and P4P in AC is more like Pattaya. I mean this more in terms of when you pay for LT the pinays in AC will stay almost until its time to go back to work at the bar the next day. I know some guys want the girl out the door as soon as it is time to go to sleep but I actually prefer she stay at least until after breakfast.

Last month I decided to check Quezon City out against the recommendation of seveal taxi drivers and reviews of the area. It has it pluses and minuses. Staying in Quezon city doesn't have to be expensive unless you want it to B. I stayed at Great Eastern hotel off of Quezon Ave and it was reasonably priced at 1800 php and the quality was on par with Ermita and AC hotels. As far as P4P goes that is mainly for streat walkers along Quezon Ave. The show girl bars like Stardust, You and Me (the name actualy changed but if you ask where "You and Me" is they point almost directly across to the street to a place called Castle), Mystique, La Legende, and the flagship bar Pegasus. You are not going to easily get a girl out of any of the bars unless you invest some time and money on the girl by buying her drinks and food. Even after that the mamasan will tell you on your second or third trip you may have the possibility of taking the girl out for 3 hours at about 5, 000 php not including her tip. Only a handful of the bars offer VIP room services at 5, 000 for one hour. Supposedly you can do anything you want with the girl. I never tried as this is not my style. If I were interested in an actual gf from PI this would be the place I would look. The girls in this area are considered the prettiest in Manila and AC and this is suppose to be a popular Japanese tourist spot. I didn't see any Japanese guys while I was there but then again maybe they were in the VIP rooms. The main difference I noticed between these girls and girls in Ermita or AC is they are lighter in complexion, most graduated high school and some college at least, and come from middle class families.

My experience at the show bars on Quezon was similar to my experience at the larger establishments on fields ave at places like Atlantis, Club Asia, or Icarius where the girls are quick to cop an attitude or refuse seeing a customer if they don't like you. And some of the girls are there solely to get drinks and talk very similar to the Japanese bar system.

Well, I was mongering in Bangkok and Asia from my early 20's all the way through the 30's. And not going to say anymore on age.

Different girls like different things. Same as different men like different girls.

You will, in Thailand, generally find the pushy loud mouthed "I am better than you" girls will go for the young guy. Its like a trophey to them to stick the middle finger up at the other girls to say they can pull a young guy. They more often than not do not like the young guy and will go out of their way to get drunk or other things to avoid the sex, but its not about the sex, its all about showing off to the other girls.

Women naturally like older men, they find them more caring, more money in the wallet, more sensual, less selfish and generally all round much better for them.

Men naturally like younger girls as it gives them a confidence boost, they want to feel young and like a stallion.

So it fits.


I get many more freebies now than I did in my 20's, it might be down to the liberation of attitudes though, so what was then is not comparable to a much more liberal and open internet/open media/free travel age we have upon us now.
