It is not my intention to brag but I have to agree with Fon Tok on this one.
I am 30 myself, living on a good expat salary, always well dressed (well, depends on whose standards so let's say no shorts/hawaian looking shirt) and very polite with women (even though a large amount of ladies here can't tell the difference between a guy being a gentleman and their belief that it happened because of good Karma). I get a fair amount of looks by Thai ladies (and an equal amount from Thai guys/gays) and a lot of them would not mind being in the company of a Farang.

Lately I have found myself hanging around J-Avenue a lot and have managed to pull a lot of numbers from very cute and young girls. One thing that really amazed me (and still does amaze me) is that Thai girls love to talk about sex and are not shy about telling what they like and don't like about guys. The biggest challenge I face is that I can't speak Thai so I can't have a conversation with about 70% of the girls I approach.

Thai girls are very available and eager to give us Farangs a try (and it has nothing to do with age), just be charming and most importantly: Dress and carry yourself well. Outer appearance is VERY important to a Thai girl.

every word you wrote I have to underline, even the characteristic of Thai girls talking about sex very frankly.

Not long ago I met a student who was appointed to me as a translator for a four days project. I was impressed how professional she was in her job and how seriously she took it, in spite of her young age and this innocent look.

Although she was living quite far away from the center we met in the evenings as well where we talked a lot, went out for dinner or shopping - and she had a lot to buy and prepare because she was about to get married soon. On the last evening when she picked me up at my hotel, she made a remark that she felt a bit sweaty because the AC of her car did not work properly. So I offered her to use my bathroom - and the rest you might imagine.
Now she is married, living in another asian country but we still see and chat via skype. Photos of her I cant post because of obvious reasons.

Anyway...It's important to stress that one has to live here to have any chance at all with the girls about whom you and Alex speak and who appear in Fon Tok's photos. That's the point I was making. Nobody's disputing the ease of availability given the right circumstances.

I'm not 30, but 56. Throughout my 40s and into my 50s, I've never had a problem meeting lots of TGs. Most I've been with over the last dozen years have been the so-called "regular" Thai girls, quite simply because I've had access to them through work and socializing. Afterall, at any given time I'm surrounded by 100s of them at work.

As a result, I never had much need to go the P4P route, and only did from time to time because it's "No muss, no fuss".

BTW, shouldn't this be in the Thai Women thread?

Old Thai Hand I am suing you for unnecessary pain and suffering. The pictures you post of the so call regular girls are fantastic and always the girls look better and sexier then the run of the mill bar types.

That being said I agree with you about the unavailability of the girls after three years of visiting. I am young and black and I have more then my share of non-bar types flirt with me in Thailand. Gas station workers store clerk etc.. Could have been free lancers. The educated ones or uni-students I haven't really tried with one but from their body language I don't think the Op is there either.

It might be a question of where to draw the line between so called regular and non-regular girls. But from my little experience I got the impression that many girls - no matter from which social class they come from - tend to cross this line at least once a lifetime when chance and circumstances are given. It can be even a plus if this circumstancial encounter for one or two nights is not living in Thailand.

I am not living in Thailand and never did. The impression about the mentioned possibility I got anyway from my very first visit and every now and then it became more solid. The reason who made me think so exactly 5 years ago (and in order to keep this remark in the photo thread), you will find in the picture below.

I have met several girls in regular jobs but probably not highly educated that have shown interest in Farangs. One such girl working at the food and beverage outllet at the airport was even game to say that she would love to have a Farang boyfriend in front of her co-workers. She was quite tall (but not ladyboy) which was probably a distinct disadvantage with mostly shorter Thai males. I was still taller than her (so O.K. height for me) and would have considered going out with her except that I had an incredibly jealous blood-hound like girlfriend at the time so couldn't risk it.

Usually regular Thai girls are not that keen to go out with Farangs unless heavily shaparoned by lots of additional friends going too so that it can be a cheap night out for all (expect the poor farang who has to pay for everyone).

Still group outings are often the way to meet and get to know Thai girls.
A friend of mine met his Thai GF (a relative of another Farang friend's wife) on his first day in Thailand in a group situation like this. She now lives with him in Australia. Strangely only took a matter of days before they were a "couple". I was baffled that either of them could make such a choice in such a hurry.

Another friend of mine met his wife on almost his first day in Thailand. She was manager of some bungaloes in Koh Samui and was actually older than him and had a daughter already. He is a very nice guy but he wasn't real trendy or charming and struggled to find a girlfriend in Australia.

Believe me if a cute Thai girl has been looking for a realiable man for a long time and she suddenly spots one (even if Farang), she can act to wrap him up quick and lively. If he has been lacking a woman also, what hope does he have to get away?

These are not hi-society girls that I am refering to, but hi-so girls with expensive tastes are surely to be avoided anyway.

There are plenty of Thai women that are allergic to Thai men or at least claim to be! :D

You can replace "Australia" (in your quote) with just about every European city + the USA and you have a Solid reason for why a lot of guys come to Thailand or Seek relationships with Thai ladies.

As this is the Photo Gallery, I will post pics of the Lady I was chatting with yesterday on Camfrog. She is bigger than my usual preference but I agreed to meet (you'll understand why once you see the pic). We had a very naughty private cam session and I can't wait to put her to the "live" task.
