I have been threatened with the ducks before too, by an overly jealous Thai woman. I wasn't even in Mongering mode at that time.
She was far too much to cope with in the end.

Can anyone explain this piece of Thai folklore that your most prized possession be cut into small pieces and fed to the "ducks" of all things?
Now I tought pigs/dogs would have been more appropriate but where do "ducks" come into the picture?

The only thing this conversation has made me decide is to make sure to avoid eating any duck in two weeks on my next trip to BKK.
I can very well imagine what would have actually happened and what tactics you might have used to convince Mrs G that it was some sort of confusion and it was not actually you who had written that report but infact you were the one who posted that report to report of distinction loll.

I went there in end of April and came back in first week of may and now have started again missing your lodge but still not able to think what excuse should I make in family to visit Thailand again.
