Last few times the Afros that I have met in Bangalore are all kind of frauds. They initially say that they will provide the asked service but on reaching they first take the money and just do some very mechanical stuff and deny most of the agreed services.

Most of them are actually not even interested in continuing with second round. They seem to have too much attitude which is feel is not at all justified according to their looks.

I am thinking going forward I am going to strictly avoid Afros.

What do you guys think?

[/QUOTE]The way go-go bars work is that you buy a drink for yourself, which serves as the "entry fee". They'll be around 100-200 baht depending on the place. They'll hand you a menu with a list of basic drinks on it. They'll have non-alcoholic drinks too, but they'll cost as much as the alcoholic ones. Regardless, you'll probably have to pay this amount. If you finish your drink and linger, the barkeep will request you to buy another or move on. If you want to stay in the bar you'll have to keep buying drinks.

In the middle of the room, the girls will be dancing and trying to entice customers. You buy a girl a lady drink to buy her company for the 5 minutes she takes to drink it. After they finish the drink they'll go back onto the stage. Use this time to talk to the girl and see if you're interested with taking things forward. There have been times when I changed my mind because I didn't like the way the girl looked up close or her personality. You're allowed to feel up the girls too, within reason. If you go to a bar without many customers, the girls might get extra handsy with you to convince you to take them. Ymmv.

In the end, you'll be paying around 300 baht for the privilege of selecting a girl and spending a little time to get to know her before you take things forward. It's worth it if you find a looker in the first place you look, but bar hopping and browsing around can get expensive quickly. A lot of the best looking ones will be standing outside. If you find one you like, you can ask them directly whether you they'll accompany you inside for a lady drink. Some will refuse however, since they're "coyotes". It's much easier to tell in real life compared to seeing them on a video. I can't really explain it but they do look different from the regular girls. The most obvious sign will be if they're much taller. They'll also be wearing very heavy makeup and have a sort of "plastic" look to their features that you won't see on most regular girls: thick lips and high cheekbones. They'll also be much more grabby and eager to please. If it seems too good to be true, it's probably a lady boy.

If you go early in soapies you may get cheaper rates for both fishbowl or penthouse girls. The gems in bars are usually looking for cash cows to negotiate.
