Now they've dolled up the place and made it more family friendly. You probably have a better chance of catching something there than you do from the girls!
I stayed at the Balmoral during this past Halloween and experienced no problems at all (there was a small "entry fee" I would never stay at the Morozan, however I'd have no problem taking a Tica back there for an hour or two.

Anyone here been to massage in Heredia? I saw they advertise a lot on backpage but can't locate the exact location or the name of the place. Kinda want to try out the new territory other than around San Jose.
What are best place to go beside Del Rey on Sunday during the day.
Over the past 3 years I have been working off of the maps that are several years old. They seem to be rather outdated. Some of the places do not exist anymore. I found some new places that are not on the map. One of the things that would be interested in is any of the local massage parlors (or whatever you call them here). Occasionally I find one or two gems in these little places. Does anybody have any updated info or maps. As I do every trip here I will post what I find.

I already had tickets to go to about 5 or 6 countries just hopping around. When I checked in to the airport in Bogota they asked my for a copy of my Yellow Fever shot. I said I might have had it before. But, they said I can't go. They said they might know of a clinic or something that would give me the vaccine and falsely the date to at least 10 days ago. But, I just did not have time. I was really disappointed. So. Since I had more days to travel from not being able to go to Costs Rica I took the next flight to Medellin again. So, I was not too upset.

There are generally 10 to 20 girls there, the food is good, and the crowd is a friendlier group of mongers than you will encounter at the Del Rey. Besides the Del Rey and Sportsman's there are several MPs open, most notable are Zona II, New Fantasy and Monica's.
I just arrived and I'm in town for a few weeks, and am looking for what I've found throughout my travel in South America to be a unicorn: a good massage. Most massage joints are basically brothels, and while as a fellow monger I'll visit several on this trip, I'd like to know if any of you who know this town could recommend me a decent massage place, with or without extras. Any suggestions?

You do not have to be a guest there to get a massage.

But, I am pretty sure they take walk-ins. You can get a legitimate or illegitimate massage there, or at least you could when I was there in Jan. '15.

Sportsmans was 10 girls a night and the girls were a bit barrio. Definitely a softer vibe and more relaxed place but the selection and quality was a joke. There is also a clique atmosphere there.
Del Ray was hopping every night and the fellow mongers were friendly and talkative. Selection was 1 - 10, any color, shape or style you were looking for.
Zona II is a shit hole. If you want to bang a chick in a disgusting concrete prison cell on a dirty mattress on a floor in a bar, it's the place to go. The bonus is you get to listen to the owner brag to you the entire time your there about how great he is despite the dirty, hairy and extremely sweaty appearance that he keeps. One out of the ten was doable and she was a fast ride spinner but you can't walk away feeling like you slayed her, it's just too dirty and disgusting a place.
