Koreans are Cornering the Market
Very observant.
Koreans are cornering the market because they are smarter, understand asian women, are not kuripot, and are better organised. Just watch the older guys in the bars in AC literally throwing money around. We look at them as strange, but that is a display of power, and money is exactly what the women are there for. Also, there is a so; I'd base of young Korean guys in the Phils. Mostly students. So they have similar interests to the younger pinays than us older western men. And there are hundreds of millions of asian millionaires a very short plane ride away.
Also, they play by a different set of rules. Whereas western bar owners would never think of deliberately excluding punters from their bar, because of a misplaced sense of equality and egalitarianism, this is not the same for Koreans. They are very comfortable with exclusivity. They get what they want.
Western guys are losing the market, in my opinion, because they have a misplaced sense of superiority, tend to go for the cheap end of the market, and do not understand asian women.
There were squeals across the tourism industry in Australia when the Japanese tourism market was totally vertically integrated. Japanese tourists, Japanese tour agents, Japanese airlines, travel in Japanese owned bus lines, stayed in japanese owned hotels, shopped in Japanese owned shops, ate in Japanese owned restaurants. And then went home happy that they had seen and experienced Australia. We are not as smart, or as farsighted, or as ruthless as that.
What do you think?

Korean Influx in Philippines
I have been reading a lot about the fairly recent level of competition posed by Koreans in the Philippines, and how this is ruining things for western guys. Is this problem limited to the bigger cities like Manila and Cebu, and popular destinations like AC? How are things in the provinces?
I have always preferred chatting up ladies in smaller places, such as Butuan or Bislig City, or simply traveling there to meet them. Have the Koreans "infested" these areas also?
