As far as your extensive posts, you are nothing but negative concerning the present Pattaya, as if you really knew what Pattaya was like 30 years ago. Tom you are a lucky, lucky man.
In 1978 Pattaya must have been full of stunners and the numbers reversed to 9-1 in favor of stunners. And those 9 would have taken far better care of you than the non-stunners do today. Not just sexually how many times did they give you a manicure or massage as well unprompted? Do they do that today? Today it's 9-1 in favor of non-stunners and the question is where have they gone, why and will they come back?

Pattaya has become a 3rd star working girl City being filled with guys hell bent on bringing the price down and proud when they make a 200 Baht saving on the second night because the girls are enjoying air con and TV. Really? Pattaya needs a few big spenders to offset the increasing numbers of people not willing to spend. Girls prefer money not air con and TV. How can that help feed their families up country? Even the so called non-pros.
Apologies for not being positive but these are the facts. I've watched the down turn for 20 years and not just two minutes.

When you have traveled extensively, and played even more so, you will learn that the freebies always turn out to be the most expensive and even dangerous. It called the Venus Thai trap.

OK, it seems some people are trolling again, with no better goal than to start an argument. So I'm going to add a few pictures to hopefully get us back on the right track.
I still need to do reports for January trip, but most girls (Pattaya and Bangkok) asked me to keep their identities hidden this time (unlike my earlier photo posts). So I need to edit them before uploading.
To be totally transparent. I'm still a newbie to Pattaya. I've only been once (and did not catch up with any other ISG members, to my dissapointment) , but have been to Thalaind (esp Soi Cowboy, where I've visited a fair amount over the last couple of years and learnt a few things from people that have been in the game a bit longer).
So, the pics didn't post. Lets try again (gin impending IT skills).
Also, any advice on uploading videos? Most my last trip were 'moving pictures'.

For I was not referring to you. I only tailed off of your post because you mentioned that there is not just 1 cut and dry price on BR. If I'm considered a Cheap Charlie because I'm not going to pay more than I have to then consider me the Chief of Cheap Charlies. If a hoe wants to be saved then there are more than enough organizations that will help them out. I'm not running any of them though. They know this and have yet to complain. So why do the people who none of the money is going to have a problem with it.

Last year in Jomtien I was sitting in a bar and was being totally ignored by all bar girls (yeah, I know, I am the human chameleon and disappear totally against whatever background) except one, who brought me a glass of water. She was not even on duty as it was her day off. But since she had nowhere to go, lived above the bar and could not sleep because of the noise, she preferred to sit in the bar. When I offered her a stay in my hotel room for the night she was genuinely pleased, maybe not because of the AC and the TV, but because it was quiet. I did pay her the usual price in the morning though as she provided a nice GFE.

All the tips we give, that the thais moan about calling us kinios, etc, they just assume all farangs are rich, we need to bring the prices down, people are paying to much, all these fucking girls walking around now with iPhones and new motorbikes and healthy bank accounts because idiots are paying them to much. They are greedy now, greedy and spoilt.

What Pattaya needs, if anything, are guys who have better taste in women.
It's more of a tourist destination now, and tourist destinations never get any better with time.

Everyone knows they are getting maximum dollars for the least effort, and shitty service standards egged on by greedy foreign bar owners intent on getting a return. During trouble times. Prices halved! The girls need major attitude re-alignment, and the GFC is sending market signals that money no longer grows on trees. What they are not doing is trying something different or upping service levels.
The stunners have been harvested by businesses and spotters, and matched to mentally weak J 3*3 or oil 'millionaires'. (the types many BG's would prefer to refuse). I have no interest in around-the-block stunners doing it for the money. With cold as a fish, bump and dump personality which is almost a certainty nowadays.
It's great that Pattaya has an ex-pat / retiree community that links prices with the real world economy and baby boomer (minimum) expectations that won't bend to what bar owners would try. In other posts, the up country money is being wasted. So there are going to be some shocks at many levels. Staying and shopping in your home country and less time away is more attractive too. At present, IMHO there are only 2 places in Pattaya where service standards are guaranteed.
The astute internationalists are shopping 'down' where bar owners and MIB do not make a 'cut', or selecting mid range stock.
Without fancy 'premiums'. Its the whole package deal thing. So stop being a wuss, and say 'no' often and frequently to the pretties who are quoting what the bar / club owner told them to quote. Actually, I think the number / frequency of 'no' s and walk aways is getting BG's and owners down. But that's another story.

It was these guys who mainly set the standard for pricing and quality during the time when Pattaya was considered "dangerous" and "dirty" which deterred the "weak" from going there. Now Pattaya is considered "safe" and cleaner, and the weak rookie mongers and non-sex tourists feel comfortable traveling there in huge numbers. These people know nothing about quality and pricing. Pattaya is cashing in on what Thais do best: Ripping off foreigners!
I spend two weeks in Pattaya and I have a great time. Special thanks to Mr. Enternational, I have my teeth clean and whitening for a very reasonable price. For my experience, I find a go-go bar girls are mostly starfish and runner. I have better time with beer bar girl and FL on BR. They give you the GFE for a much lower price. I pick up a FL on BR we spent two days together and I have a blast. I also want to thank Amex Spg for all the info in Pattaya, that really help.
