Gents I have a problem.
I arrive Manila in mid-December and have about 48 hours solo before I have to head south to meet up with family. What to do? Stay in Manila, which I am familiar with, and tear it up? Was last there in 2010. Or head to Angeles? Or even Subic? Haven't been to either since my Navy days but have good memories!
Suggestions? Recommendations? Help me out here. Wish I had this dilemma all the time!
JB.
*will also post this on the AC and Subic threads.
Just my opinion. AC for 36 hours is multiple times better than Manila for 48. You can do more in a short time for less money and have a LOT better selection.
It looks like your girlfriend did some cut and pasting.

You obviously felt, like me, that such literary skills are unlikely to be part of a dating site girl's repertoire. However, since my days in academia are over, I lack the software that you clearly have for identifying such rampant plagiarism.
I hope Hutsori spanks her well for being so nawty.

Had I done so I still wouldn't have been dissuaded in accepting her generous offer. She has spunk, and soon enough she'll have a mouthful of it too. Alas, she'll be at my place in 90 minutes, and since my DIA profile is explicit in what I want, and she agreed, I've dispensed with the time wasting wooing. Of course there are many who prefer the meetings and discussions and mall wandering; as we have read the payoff still eludes them. Being frank in either your profile or your correspondence minimizes this risk.
Happy hunting to all, and to all a good night.

Having a base in Seoul is like putting bait out for a fisherman. It's like school kids daring someone to cross a line. It's like putting cheese out for the rats. Look at what the famous General Eisenhowser said about the Military Industrial Complex and.
OMG, this is a website for talk about sex. Can we please get back to the point. If I want a history lesson, I'll go to the library. LOL.
You guys haggling about who pays or does not pay for a US presence in East Asia just have no concept of strategy. Start thinking seriously about this stuff.
For the US to have a strategic base in South Korea, right next door to North Korea and China is priceless. Same for US bases in Japan and Taiwan. Puts major fighting and supply assets within close striking range of Russia, China, N Korea, the whole northern Pacific.
Wow.

Leaving the Philippines
For noobies,
When trying to leave the Philippines, you're going to have to pay a 550 Peso Fee. Before, you could only pay it with Pesos are US dollars. Now, the Manila Airport is also accepting Visa and Mastercard.

Are there no places like the girl bars in AC in the Manila area? I've been to MBC and I do prefer that but sometimes I just need a quick in and out because my girlfriend will most likely be on me like a hawk. If not are there any cheap MPs?

Don't worry, I'll take my time with her, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to check out the bars. LOL (just kidding)

If you've read back a bit you'll find references to Burgos in Makati and EDSA Entertainment (near Mall of Asia). The woman are usually far better looking that AC and the prices are far uglier.

Yes you see poor fellows wandering around (being dragged around is actually how it looks) malls in Manila.
If the girl is hot and hes a overweigh chappie, then you know she's going to get all the shopping done that she wants.
If the girl isn't hot and he doesn't have game, you know hes thinking " how can I get her to a motel without her noticing.".
Either way, they just wander aimlesly around and around.
Actually the funniest sights are when you see a western woman, usually the one who has expanded, with western hubbie in tow.
Hes usually in better shape.
Woman is watching the man endlessly to see if hes looking at the hotties on parade.
Man has the 1000 metre stare perfected so he can say to his wife " hot girl in micro shorts smiling at me?". No honey, I didn't quite see that.

Mall Walking / Sitting
I walk the malls frequently for exercise only. They're airconditioned and no rain inside them. Doesn't really matter if there are FLs at the mall as my gf is upstairs at the condo anyway. I've seen many horndogs sitting at the outside perimiters of the coffee / bakeries in the morning, obviously looking. How embarrassing. I wouln't do that for a minute as my gf is upstairs in the condo anyway. I've always flyed well under the radar. I don't like morning sex anyway.

How about best bang for the buck hotel? I like diamond and new world but I'm going to try to waste less money on the hotel and more on partying and shopping. I hate paying the same for a hotel in manila as I do in Chicago, just doesn't seem right.

It's super close to Greenbelt Mall and Burgos street. Also, almost half the price of those 2 hotels. The rooms are nice and clean as well. A lot of businessmen stay at St. Giles.

YG
Last month I noticed what you stated above in Terminal 1. In Terminal 3 (Cebu Pacific etc) seems that any tickets purchased after August have the airport fee included and you no longer have to stop and pay at the booth. Those who had tickets purchased prior to some date in August still had to stop. Perhaps one day they will fix it for international tickets in Terminal 1.
When trying to leave the Philippines, you're going to have to pay a 550 Peso Fee.
If I remember correctly, they have reduced it in Clark to 350ps or so.
Cheers!

So I have to pay for that fee twice! Once when I leave the Philippines for Thailand and once on my way home!
