Philippines Travel Report
Here is my Manila Trip report. Hope it would be useful.
My Cebu trip did not go well as planned [read the report in Cebu Thread], So I moved to Manila and the nightmare began. I don't know what changed in these nine months, everyone seems to have become a zombie or I changed my perception and became a zombie myself.
Nightmare No. 1.
The moment I landed in airport, the security took me to the corner and started asking for money and blatantly told I might be carrying drugs. I told them to check my bags, but was afraid as I had some pills of V and C left behind, luckily they did not go over to the pouch on the side. The guy was looking for a hand out.
TIP.
Do not wear good clothes and bags. I was told, I have a good bag, so I must be carrying something expensive. Wear bad shirts and pants to avoid detection. Sorry to be discriminatory but if you are black guy, expect 90% of the time to be stopped at the airport. I saw this multiple times.
Nightmare No. 2.
I had booked a condo in Emar suites Mandaluyong for one year rental and gave advance payment. The guy ran away with the money. I had to file a police case of Estafa / swindling against the guy. I went to Mandaluyong city hall and Makati police station and they all want money to begin the investigation. Apparently, another girl too was conned by the rental scam and she is now pursuing the case as now I'm back in India, I was lucky to take his voters I'd scan and now he is been pursued. I have no hope of getting the money back but atleast if the guy is caught I would be happy. The guy said he works in a call center and was renting his uncle apartment and was very polite and decent but turned out to be long con artist. Be careful of this guy Norlito Lachica if you ever encounter as they target tourist renting condos in Manila.
The condo admin were totally indifferent to me as it seems they were trying best to hide my case so that Emar Suites does not get a bad rep. I got to see how the government functions in Philippines and it was same back home and was really scary.
It looks good as long as you are fuucking in the Philippines but for even once the tables are turned and you got fuucked. Its a long big fuuck thats painful and scary and impossible to get out from.
TIP.
Be careful of condo renting as you would never know who is with whom, make sure you rent with some one you know. No body can be trusted, once your money is gone, the condo admin become indifferent as if you did not exist. I was the victim but treated as a criminal.
Nightmare No 3.
Just to flush out bad times, I went to EDSA cotton club. Got drunk and was handed over a inflated bill. Paid anyways, Barfined a girl, took her to hotel and in the morning, all my money gone in the purse. Complained to the mamasan, promised heaven, delivered nothing. I could not complain to the police as already the condo rental case was going on. So did not wanted this trouble as well.
TIP.
If you get even a bit tipsy and are alone, they scavenge you with inflated bill. Do not get too drunk and bar fine a girl from EDSA. I came to know this later from a PH marine guy, that many girls from there have similar cases against Japanese men as well. I know these are basic mongering 101 tips to be careful when alone in bar, guess I got too trusted with my past experience in EDSA.
Nightmare No. 4.
Most of the girls as in Cebu I met were from Ghetto in cupid and DIA. This time I wanted to survey where these girls really lived, I dated 20+ girls and barring few all lived in deep squatter where you would require armed guards protection at night to go there. They live in filth and when they come out, take a bath, wear nice clothes and suddenly becomes the hip hop crowd BUT deep inside, there ghettoness, cheapness shows.
I wanted to know the cheapness of these girls and they did not disappoint me. The free-loaders they are continues to amaze me. Its all outside fashion and beauty, really deep inside its all fake. Well, I don't expect much being an Indian to get a good girl. But this was too much. The girls are just too cheap and their friends cheaper too. They have no shame tagging along with the date and then ordering expensive foods and eating shamelessly. Their whole aim in life is to go out in mall, eat, have fun on another persons expense. They have no respect at all.
TIP.
Many would already know, but now these girls are inventing new tricks. Filipina Mind Tricks. They will tell you, they are in Marikina outskirts of city and if you send them money, they will come in taxi. They will show their parts on cam for you to get excited and when you do send money for taxi, they never show up.
The way to test them is just tell them, you will be sending the hotel taxi to their place and you will pay the fare once they come back to your hotel. 90% won't reply after that as their scam is out. I knew this game from last year and was pissed already, so made a girl run twice to Western union giving her fake control number. This is the way to teach these scum low lifes. If a girl asks for money, just play along and send her fake WU control number and in the mean time, asking her to show on cam. Hahaha.

Good times no. 1.
Dated an Iranian girl who is doing dentistry course. She was not cheap and paid for her own drinks, even when insisted and was decent and she itself said she don't date Filipinos as they are cheap. I knew what she meant. Free-loaders.
Good times no. 2.
Dated a Swedish girl but was 30+ and kinda felt like a left over from you guys in the west. Hahaha. She had loads of money it seems but was kinda overused left over no body wants me so lets find an Indian guy type of deal.
Good times no. 3.
Had a threesome with good decent girls but they cover their track so well, don't know if they were ghetto or from good family background.
Good times no. 4.
Banged a super hot model Chinese-Filipina mix on a visit to Manila. Only girl that I'm still in touch with but paid heavily more than 15+k on her expensive clothes and dinner, it was just one of my fantasy to date a filipina model, I examined all her pics and bio before sealing the deal. It was just a big ego boost nothing special next day. Lighter on the wallet and feeling more stupider than before. Don't do it.

I wanted to stay for long term but the condo scam and pursuing investigation got me scared, as I was told cops would ask lot of money to get the case on my side, they now know my details and could put me on false charges etc.
Conclusion:
The taxi scams were low compared to last time, if you are forceful, talk loud and threaten to get out of the taxi, they turn on the meter. About 80% of the taxi ride, I did not had any problem.
Compared to last time, The girls quality have gone up, even if they are ghetto types, the quality of girls were higher than last time but drama equally more, like coming with cousin or friend, meeting in a mall first and getting to know each other thingy's seems to have increased.
Its easier as ever to get laid in Manila not so in Cebu due to population. However, one new experience I had was with the law and it does not look good at all. As long as you have money, its heaven, once the money runs out, better choose which floor you going to jump from. No body will care, most of these filipina girl friends you would meet in DIA would disappear once you short on money and forget about any HELP from them. They are just leech freeloader good for Fuuck and nothing much.
I'm not sure, if I would come back soon. I'm kinda used to Filipina Puusy now. I would better try Ukraine or Russia or German FKK for some change. It gets boring. But for a new trip, I would need to save more, so another year wait before I could step out of India.
