You can be scammed in many ways.

Either you will be blocked after paying advance or the girl might demand more money after reaching your room. You will end up paying double the fixed price. If you won't pay up then she might create nuisances which can bring your neighbors or hotel staff attention.

New numbers didn't work either on TG, but whatsapp worked fine.

Other services are not reliable either.

The other option is to build a good relationship with your building guards, and then ask them to get a new sim card for you.
