Notice that Agoda Hotel Maps has improved a lot to use Google Maps now:

Still some placement markers a bit inaccurate though and some hotels have no pin yet, e.g. Woraburi
I am looking for a place for late May. The website has the rooms with all perks at around $140 a night US. Can you tell me where you found the $81.
It was mentioned by Run Mann as coming from Agoda.
It was mentioned by Run Mann as coming from Agoda.
I guess it would help if I could read.
Thank you
It is GF but you do realize it is pretty far from everything?
I've stayed there - reminded me of a large cruise ship - not really my thing. It's not at all convienient - they run two ferry boats and if you miss one you are waiting 20 minutes to cross the river. To reach the Nana area you should plan on 45 minutes - time to wait for a boat, cross the river, get to the train, wait for the train, take the train/transfer - it adds up.

haha... no problem. we all do that sometimes. It's only in retrospect, after someone pointed it out, that things like that seem obvious.
Check out the Wotif mystery hotel

Seems very similar to:

If so probably the best deal going at the moment.

Just an update on this. Definitely the Marriott, I made a booking today. I think I prefer the SGS but at this price not worth the extra baht.
Has anyone stayed at the Grand Sukhumvit Hotel by Accor on Soi 6, is it Girl friendly?
Thanks in advance
Andy
I would strongly recommend Livingstones, African-syle "boutique" hotel in Soi 33. Swimming pool, free internet, girl friendly, sports bar with obliging girls most with good English.
Given the unstable state of Bangkok, another advantage is that you do not really have to move from Soi 33 for all "activities": massage parlours, lady bars, spas for (non-sex) treatments, restaurants, English pubs, shopping, all within walking distance. Took the two-girl option in de luxe room at "Love Teen", nice... Cost was 1100 baht plus 2000 baht tips.
Soi Cowboy is one train stop away if go-go bars are your thing. Staring hour after hour at girls barely out of puberty jigging about is not my idea of fun... a bit sad.

I echo GreenRoamers setiments regarding LL. I stayed there for the first time last November and wrote an extensive report about the stay. You can find it by searching the thread.
Millennium Hilton Bangkok hotel.
How is the GF frienliness here?
Belmont
I have been staying there mid February for 5 N and many guy’s walking in with local girls and I never have seen staff questioning the guest, I was limited because Mrs was staying with me just that week, easy to take a girl out from Soi Cowboy because it’s just next door.
There is also a back entrance from soi 23 if you like, mainly no security there for the best rate check www.asiarooms.com
