Today I signed a business E-Mail (which had really NOTHING to do with the ISG or Livingstone's) with "Giotto".
I need help. Something is wrong in my brain.

Giotto
The best indicator that you have been at a computer for too long is when you search the start button of your washing machine to switch it off.
Yours is another good one. Hopefully your business partner doesn't know how to handle google.
NicFrenchy,
Thanks for visiting Livingstone's. It was quite fun...
I cannot remember whether that was Miss J ... possible. But there are so many girls in the bar now, I don't even know all their names any more.
May be you can make it for the Swimming Pool Party this Saturday? Miss J will be there, and appreciates your "swimming" lessons :) .
Giotto
For clarification:
Miss J needs swimming lessons not "swimming" lessons.
Mick,
I'm going to miss you by a week or so, too bad. :( I'm hoping to meet some fellow ISGers as well.
You didn't say if you would be a week late or early.
I might get to visit Sports bar again a week later or so (maybe maybe).
Its hard to predict when there is a spare moment, but I am likely to make time sometime for a nice dinner and a few drinks and losing some money at the pool table. I prefer to play the girls for money to make it more interesting - but handicapped so in the end I'm going to lose anyway.

Well even if your brain is getting befuddled, you really should know if it was the same Miss J that Brainy and Micky (myself) are talking about, or are you saying you just aren't sure which girl Frenchy was going for?
Perhaps he was flirting with far too many, based on his past history.
Its OK if you can't remember outfit colours (normal for guys).
Anyway it sounds like Miss J is going to find it tough to avoid pool parties now that so many are queueing up to give the "swimming" lessons.
I know she loathes to be forced into the pool.
But a few B52s or Gin Tonics should do the trick. Its amazing how the shyness can evaporate.
We better keep her down the shallow end so she doesn't panic.

Brain befuddled - wait, you will come back to Livingstone's one day, and then we will talk about that :) !
Of course I know Ms. J, but I don't know whether that girl in red NicFrenchy was talking about was Ms. J. And you are perfectly correct, that he was flirting with all girls - in details it was different, nearly all girls wanted to barfine him, because is he completely different from you - he is a young and handsome man :):):)!

Now I get it and I am jealous. When I was young I was even less handsome.
I am improving with age (slightly). Right now I'm trying to get a few kilos off to look just a little more athletic and hopefully look under my true age. I also get bored with girls asking "The baby due in how many months?"
There is a new Thai song playing in the bars written especially for me according to some girls about a "Panda Bear" (I also have dark rings under the eyes especially when short of sleep).
Mostly I have to get by with just being nice to the girls.
But so many girls protest that they don't like young men (they could be just sweet talking I guess).
Now I'm puzzled why Nic needs to bother with all his Massage venues when it sounds like he could get lots of freebies. Perhaps he is afraid to collect too many wives which would work out even more expensive than mongering, not to mention the headaches (smart fellow no?) :-):-):-)
Kind of slow here, isn't it. Your frenulum OK, Dr. G? Just checkin......
Couldn't find any report about the success of the swimming pool party with extended Staff party:
I want to know of course the most important for me:
Was Miss J finally in the pool?
How much clothes left?
Who managed to do so?
Who gave assistance in swimming?
Did she survive?
Where is my PM with the pictures of Miss J in the Pool attached?
Questions over questions, who will answer?
regards

Bangkok, Stopover at Livingstones Lodge
Had a long stop over in Bangkok, so decided to follow the recommendations of this forum. My taxi took me quickly to LL (45 mins, 300baht), where I asked for the rate of the room for 7 hours until 10pm. Guess what, got 200 baht discount. Too expensive from my understanding, but the mistake was already done. I had a long flight, so first of all took a shower. Room is nice, so is the bathroom. Just it takes too long to get it cooled down. The AC is off, as soon as you leave the room. The rest of the building is also not cooled, so it is a hard fight for the AC to cool down the room.
WLAN Internet did not work for me with the provided password, neither on my notebook, nor on my PDA.
Went down, some beer and food. Crispy duck in red curry souce not as good as I am used to eat it, as the duck was cooked in the curry. But still OK.
Found a 7/10 in the sports bar, asked for the rate. 1500 bar fine plus 3000 for the girl for 4 hours. Sorry? Did I miss something?? Ok, I have not much time, so I offer 1000 fine plus 2000 for the girl (far too much from my undertstanding). She says that needs to be discussed with mamasan and she has to wash her lower parts now. Off she goes, 30 minutes later not back and no mamasan. Hey, what am I doing here? Start feeling pissed, feel pissed and leave. Walk around to relax, return, sleep a bit alone, check out and leave.
Summary: I found LL overpriced and do not think that there is special value that judges the price. But mongering is an individual individual thing, so please find out yourself.

Guess Livingstones is not the right setup for that short time stay.
I would have proposed (as others recommended for similar stop overs before), you go to Eden, book their the usual 2 girls setup for 90 min and 3600 Baht, then move to Beergarden, eat there, and if it is time and you are lucky find a beergarden female visitor and go for another shortime. Or if you don't find a nice girl there (as it is not ensured) just take an oil massage with extras, or e.g. soapie at Annie's.
After that back to the airport.

Ding Ding,
It is well known that Soi 33 is high priced. All the bars (the so-called Artist bars) have prices that are almost double that what you find in the lower sois. Whether the quality of the girls is that much better is up to an individual's opinion. I personally think not. The 1500 + 3000 rate quoted for you is normal (although I believe it should have been for the whole night). I negotiated down the girl to 2000 baht last year. If you had done your research, you'd have stayed near Soi 4.. where there is plenty and cheap action. It is too bad you ended up getting no action.
Cheers.
