Maribaya is the only place that truly gets going by 10 am. But the girls aren't extremely good looking and the price is 600 k for an hour (it may be 800 now, I'm not certain). Service is normally great though, so it's not a bad place to visit. It's possible to find a night shift girl at Maribaya who will visit you during the day if you get to know her, since her shift doesn't start until 5 pm. I used to have night shift girls visit me in my apartment around 2 pm frequently years ago. The day shift girls will also visit you after 5 pm. The Maribaya girls seem to still perform as well at your place as they do at the brothel itself.

If you don't want to shag on-site in a brothel during the day, another option could possibly be to bar fine a girl from a brothel in north Jakarta and take her to your room. You would have to buy her out at a cost equal to the number of hours you will have her at your place. So if the hourly rate is 350 k (the rate at the cheaper places up north), you would have to pay 1,400,000 rupiah to take a girl for 4 hours (plus tip). The 4 hours includes the time it takes for transit to and from your place. Considering traffic in Jakarta, this means you will probably only have her in your room for 2 hours out of the 4. You could pay to take her longer, but it's 350 k per hour you have her and needs to be paid to the mamasan before you ever even take her out of the bar. This is also dependent upon negotiations. Depending on the girl and the day of the week, they may negotiate differently. The bars in north Jakarta claim to get started at noon, but in reality 2 pm is about the time the girls start wandering in. By 3 pm, they are all there. However, there is a big downside to this strategy. For whatever reason, I find that the brothel girls up North do not perform as well when you bar fine them and take them home as they do when they are in the bar itself. They get lazy in my room, so it's normally not worth the trouble. At least that's my experience.

Going to try to keep my budget fairly tight. What are some of you guy's cheap date spots or routines?

Plan is to meet most girls online most days / nights of the week and go out alone one time each week to some of the popular night clubs.

Whenever I 'bar-fined' a girl who I thought was good when I booked her for an hour or had been going to her several times from one of the Kota knockshops, I ended up very disappointed. If I tried to initiate even one round after I'd got her back to my apartment, they'd say I was 'gila' or complain of being 'capek' and just wanted to watch TV, eat snacks or sleep all day. I think they take advantage of the situation knowing full well if you complained to the mamasan, they wouldn't care since you already paid the bill. Had there been a system where you would pay your barfine at the end before she left, I'm sure the situation would be different.

If you want to bring a girl to your place, better just get freelancers and always insist on paying in the end never upfront since this invites laziness.

I do not need to spend a lot of money to have fun. I might take 1 trip to Hotel Classic just for the experience and go check out the scene at BlokM, CJ's, and Bats just to say I've been.

One month in Jakarta is a long time if you are on a budget Angeles city in PI is much cheaper, hotel and food cost is much more here you can go mongering at hotel Travel or Panjay for 350 k for st is not easy to budget under 100 usd a day.

I simply have other trips planned for after Indonesia and Philippines back in the US and thus would like to conserve my money as to allow me more things to do in the future. If I go over my planned amount and have to cancel somethings that is not a problem.

I am already going to be in Manila for 1 month prior to going to Jakarta. I have no interest in Angeles. As I said, I deal with 95% normal girls I meet online or at the bar / club. I am white and late 20's for reference.

I have been meaning to complete a pending report of mine from Jakarta from beginning this year. I was there for only 1 night and as a result of all the contributors here was able to RTFF and decide on my POA.

After some recent discussion about Bintang Mawar I decided to go there. A rather dark place which plays lots of Chinese songs which reminded me of CP in Southern China.
