I am led to believe by many WGs in Saigon, that there is a favored haunt (bar / club) that specialises in Vietnamese girls. I know many a girl that has gone to Shanghai for a week or two, but I have never been successful of finding out the name and location of this specialty bar / club.

When I RTFF going a few years back, it seems Tang Dynasty Sauna was a top tier and popular joint. I have not seen much posted about the place lately. Is it still in business? And what is its current state for play? Thanks.

The biggest upside is not having to change clothes in a common locker room. Can wear your street clothes to your private room. But it is pretty far south min hang, I found there to be much closer alternatives.

I guess that is why prices are cheap: in the 160 to 200 rmb range. And there will be problem with communication: No English !!
Caveat: all these are hearsay. I do not have first hand experience with bath houses.

[/QUOTE]Certainly, an excellent summary, many thanks. I actually think saunas are great value, when compared to other Asian cities, but sometimes tricky for non-Chinese speakers. Unlike Thailand, this city primarily caters to locals, not foreigners.
Plenty of options in Shanghai. Cheap BBS to high end providers. Plus cuisine for all over the world. I'm having Jiangsu or Sichuan or Fujian soon. All depends on where Auntie arrives first.

I can't stand the environment or rushed service at most BBS.
KTV cost is somewhat unpredictable and a waste of time on non-essential activities such as wine and drinking games.
Picking up girls at bars or ordering out-call can be a completely hit or miss experience with inflated prices.
Saunas at least provide some quality control over the service and usually at a fixed price.
Yes, not all saunas have multi-lingual staff and they may respond differently to customers that do not speak Chinese.

Minhang, Yangpu, Putuo, and Hongkou districts have the most plentiful and cost effective mongering opportunities because rent is cheaper but they're still near the city center. There are various ways to gain access. Websites, QQ groups, WeChat, or local friends.
1) KTVs: price range 1500-3000+ per person.
Chinese guys don't come to these places strictly for the sex. They do this for bro-bonding and business purposes, or whenever they feel like having a bachelor party though no one's getting married. Go early, like 6 pm early. The later you go, the bigger the chance that you'll be stuck with the leftover girls of the night. KTV is broken into two stages. The party in the room, and the sex afterwards. The first stage is obviously cheaper if you go with a larger group because you can split the cost of the room and the tip to the mamasan and DJ. You also need to pay a separate tip to the girl whom you picked to party with you. Be prepared to pay 1000-1500+ for the first stage at a minimum. Sex with the KTV girl is by no means guaranteed; it's usually a negotiation between you and the girl, and sometimes she will refuse to go with you. If she's interested, she'll suggest that you all go for hotpot afterwards or something similar. Be prepared to pay an additional 800-1500 for sex, though in rare cases it can be had for free if she really likes you. Will be traveling to China for 5 weeks, visiting various cities (Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanchang, Chengdu, and maybe more). But will have relatives in tow for most of it, so not much free time. I do speak fluent mandarin, but have difficulty reading and writing.
However, will be flying solo in Shanghai MinHang March 12 to around 19th (could change, who knows). Read probably the last 40 pages of this thread and SNG as well (is membership recommended there? Looks like Sauna and maybe picking up a FL at Judy / Manhattan's is the route I'm going for some P2P. I think Metro 9 option described by Staid Lo back on 10/20/15 is better than the line 2 option described, although the turns after you exited from the #3 exit should be left on Pudong South Road and left again into the square.

Service: The one I had (#617) gave great service. She was decent looking (to each his taste though) . She hopped right into it without wasting time on the B side. So I got pretty much the full 70 min of play. Many time you get a perfunctory BJ with providers, but she gave one of the best, LONG lip service. It was very close to GFE, and she cuddled for several minutes afterwards because the 70 minutes session was not up yet. Highly recommended.

Not only do you have to undress in a common area, they do not give you the pajamas until after you do a long naked walk to the common shower area, and then repeat the long naked walk back to a place to dry up in front of a couple of attendants. When I was there, there were 7 or 8 buck naked guys in the change room, shower and towel down areas.
