Domínguez Brito explains that those laws establishes that any person who for the purpose of prostitution in any way assists, attends, conceals of recruits people for its operations; receive benefits from it, allows it, contracts, trains or maintains, even with consent, is guilty of philandering, and is punishable by six months to three years in prison and a Road $150, 000 fine.[/QUOTE]

so i had a 5 day / 4 night trip to the dr. i'm going to start off writing about the day of departure, my last day. in a weird memento sort of way. well, checked out of the hotel in juan dolio in the morning and heaeded to san pedro de macoris to drop off my cupid chica (2nd of two cupid chicas, more on that later) in my rental car. on the way out of san pedro, i drove past a couple of sw on the side of the highway. then in a flash i remembered jao mentioned getting the cheapest bj in his life at around the same spot. (yes, jao i hold you solely responsible for what happened in the following. you are the pied piper leading us newbie lemmings off a cliff; you and your "santo domingo is so easy for newbies".)

immediately she turned completely nasty and said she wanted 200 pesos! i was like, wtf, you didn't even do anything; i'm nice enough to offer the original 100. in retrospect, i think she smelled fear on my part and since she is truly ****d, she just totally capitalized and pounced on that. i drove back to the front of a shell gas station not far from where i picked her up and told her to get out, giving her whatever loose change i had in the console. about 145 pesos or so. she freakin' wouldn't budge! i didn't want to push her out and i wasn't going to get out of the car, to go around and pull her out. so then i looked in my wallet for more pesos, and found none. big mistake. scumbag ho saw my andrew jackson and now demanded us$20!
i saw a dominican soldier dressed in army fatigue standing at the gas station, so i yelled at him for help. he was telling the sw to get out and leave me alone, i handed him the loose change so he could give it to her. after some more shouting back and forth, finally she got out. i was relieved and drove off. about 20 yards. then i noticed my digital camera that was sitting in the console was gone! i slammed the car in reverse and yelled "she stole my camera! she stole my camera!" sure enough, she had it in her hand and was holding it hostage for a us$20 ransom! the soldier saw that and he pulled out his gun, ordering her to give it back to me. well. he could order but he is not law enforcement, there was no bite to his order and the scumbag ho knew that. by now a crowd has gathered, yelling at her to give back my camera but she just wouldn't freakin' budge! the soldier then pushed her into my car and he got in as well and said "let's go to the police." although my flight wouldn't leave for a few more hours, there was no way i spent that time a the police station and ran the risk of her being truly ****d. as much as i absolutely hate, despise, abhor, to give in, nonetheless i felt so defeated i had no other choice but to buy my way out of this fucking mess for us$20. did the exchange, wiped the tears off my eyes and drove away us$20 lower in net worth.
what was supposed to be the cheapeset bj ever turned out to be neither. i can laugh about it now; i keep saying to myself, more tuition for another lesson learned. well, because on this trip, i paid for a few other lessons as well. to be continued.

The casas contribute more than their fair share. The casas aren't going anywhere for now. But as Gasque grows as a gringo retirement spot, maybe the casas might relocate.
That is some funny shit man. Looks like you should read more reports than just Jao's. I dropped my SW off at that same Shell after a job well done. damn thanks for the honest story bro. comes with the territory, we all have stories where we felt victimized. i always try to expect the unexpected and try not look at the international world through first world tinted lends.
for me i'm usually very suspicious of chicas i see on the side of the road. i have only picked up a few sw, when and if things went south i remained calm and have been able to talk some sense into them.

100 pesos is the equivalent of US $2. 50. If a young woman is offering a sex act for that price, which is absurdly low, to a tourist in a rental car, she probably hopes to supplement that by picking the pocket of the john during the sex act, or stealing something of value. No wonder she was pissed off at the offer of 100 pesos for a partial blow job.

100 pesos may seem like a lot of money to the original poster, but it probably didn't see like much to her. A small can of baby formula costs more than 300 pesos.
Prostitutes in the DR are not like employees of a franchise business in the US. People just forget this, and then they are taken by surprise when they find that they can't just call the manager and get their money back.
