I'd be careful with any establishment here to make sure you are referring to the same place in the same area of town. Uguisudani! = Okachimachi.

Gentlemen I'm visiting Tokyo before X'mas on my way to Niseko skiing. I'm from Toronto, Canada. I will be staying in Kabukicho. I'm seeking recommendation for Soapland around the area. I don't speak Japanese so it could be an obstacle. I visit escorts (incalls) in Toronto couple times a week, which including providers from Korea, Japan, China and it cost $150 for 1/2hr full service or $250 an hour. But there is no soapland here. i'm of asian descent and my japanese is of daily conversation level but my pronunciation and speed is such that lots of people think i'm japanese unless i speak for a long time.

and i have some questions for everybody: is it important to call in advance before going to fashion health / esute / etc?

and for deli heru, do you have to give your name? real or fake? and is it normal to wait at the lh or outside somewhere?

Check the forum for Yoshiwara. There are some open to gaijins there.

Usually the more you are willing to pay for a "high class" soapland, the better your chances are.

Also, there are at least 8 or 9 soaplands in the Shinjuku area, several operated by the Kadoebi group. The only time I have been to a soap, it's been in Yoshiwara.
