As always, I appreciate the feedback. Actually, on my last trip I took my buddies up to Cabarete. It was kinda slow, but we had a fantastic meal basically right on the beach. It was a down a bit from Nikki Beach. I like the feel of Cabarete. That night they were setting up a stage for live music, but we didn't make it back out there. I can imagine the scene in high season.
I do plan on venturing out some this time around. I will definitely make that trip to Puerto Plata and report back and I will swing back by Cabarete to see how that develops. This trip is not all about pussy. I'm stressed by these financial markets and I need a break. Of course, I'm going to get me some pussy, but I definitely won't run through 10 this time. Two multi night companions would be ideal. I had blast dancing my ass off in Classicos, but toward the end of the night, I swear one of those Chica's were going to stab me. I was flirting my ass off.
I came very close to pulling one of the barmaids from Merengue. She was put off on the fact that I stayed at NG. It was a thrill just to chat with her and not try to talk up on some ass and not have her try to instantly dig in my pockets. It was a good time just talking and joking about the madness surrounding us. Man, I blew that one.
Can someone recommend nice accomodations that are guest friendly? I don't want to rent an entire house in Casa Linda, but a condo would be ideal. I would prefer something close to Sosua, but it is not entirely necessary. Sosua by the sea doesn't seem to be all that great nor does Terra Linda. I'm not a snob, but those pics and what I saw from the outside just doesn't seem all that appealing.
I encourage everyone to get out and see the surrounding areas. I had blast on my ATV tour. I'm so glad I didn't buy that candy and toss it to the kids. It just doesn't seem right. At the very least, hand it to them at the rest area. Instead, I bought a lot of them some beef patties this lady was selling from her cart. Those smiles were infectious. I love the Dominican Republic. Maybe it is because I am AA, but I feel so calm down there. It is nice change of pace. If I were really well off, I would definitely own some property down there. That day is coming.
Mr. Gogo, I thank you for your compliments. I was so passionate about my first trip that I really did try to pour my all into it. It also motivated me to increase my Spanish. I will forever be hunted by that memory of the honey in Santo Domingo that I couldn't close on because my skills were lacking. Damn.
The honey's in the DR prefer Hennessey, so I will hit up duty free for a nice fat bottle of Hennessey Black. It will be good times!
You have graduated as evident by your comment"This trip is not all about Pussy". Pussy is everywhere in the DR, you don't have to be strickly about that, it will find you (Hello, has anyone noticed chicas outside of Sosua that will fuck you quicker than they will cross the street?). I have never heard a guy say this (This trip is not all about pussy) publicly on this board, but I have talked about it with a few veterans who used to post here and have graduated, and they understand how to enjoy the island and get pussy. The only problem I have with pussy in the DR is making sure they are over 18yo.
Sosua to me is a pitstop and look see. Outside of Sosua its all about attitude. Keep an open mind, enjoy the culture, and give respect to chicas that respect you. I've got a veteran mentor from this board that no longer posts here that does normal Dominican shit (he is American) and has all the chicas fighting to fuck him. The Mommas, Aunts, and young girls over 18yo are all fighting to be his girl but he plays it cool and respects the culture. He knows eventually he will get those chicas but for now he is banging other pussy. Thats what you call a "good problem"chicas lined up waiting to get fucked. The veterans will get pissed if I keep talking about this, pm me if you ever need anything. Peace.
Just spent 10 days in sosua. Stayed at my buddies home in casalinda. I met up with an old fling from santo domingo. A beautiful blonde that use to work at passions. We spent five days together. I always rent a car when I'm down there. Everybody should go spend a day at the beach in playa grande. Beautiful it is. After having enough of lorenas attitude. I sent her home and lived at classicos for a few nights. And spent most of in caberete at the ocean sands casino. See you guys down there in April!
Is Lorena that good? I know a few guys that wifed her up.

Price was 55 USD breakfast included.
Thanks frannie and mr. John. I think I'm just going to stay in Sosua for my 5days and really scope everything out. Despite all the rumors about sosua being "dead" I'm still going to take that chance. I really hope I have alott of fun. And I will bring back a juicy report with tons of photos from my new 10megapixel camera haha.
No, Sosua is not "dead" whatever that means. OK a couple of restaurants have closed down, and maybe the beach is not crowded except on Dominican holidays, but there are plenty or restaurants and bars open and as far as chicas there are still plenty to choose from. I spent 2 months this summer in Sosua and you would think I know every chica in town by sight, but when people post photographs on this board I NEVER recognize the girls, even the ones everyone here seems to know. So just to say that the chicascape is constantly changing and really you only need to meet a couple you really like, who maybe just showed up yesterday to have a great vacation.
Interesting point raised in another post that a chica working in a bar was reluctant to date a guy because he was staying at the New Garden. That is exactly why I would never stay there. It is not that it isn't a nice hotel, reasonably priced, with good amenities, which I am sure that it is, but just that it has a reputation in the town as a place for hard core mongers, which makes some chicas who are not so hard core reluctant to go there as it will damage their reputations.
So even if you are a hard core monger, but want to just pass as regular guy, your cover will quickly be blown if you admit to residence at the NG.
Sosua is like a large village, and although it will not be apparent to you as a new arrival, everyone knows everyone else and their business. Remember that island people often don't move far from where they were born, and that chica may have been a classmate of that motoconcho driver or hotel maintenance guy since the age of 6.

Casa Cayena
I stayed at Casa Cayena recently and can really recommend it. Good breakfast, very girl friendly (girls must have cedula) , nice pool, and a very helpful staff.
Price was 55 USD breakfast included.
Was checking on the internet for Casa Cayena, according to Google maps would be in the Los Charamicos Sector, was alway's told that sector was dangerous? Do you need to take a motochonco every times that you want to go downtown? Is the sector quiet at night or there is a constant traffic of Motoconchos? I would appreciate if you could let me know. Thanks

Digital Pros
I've been out of the digital camera market for a while. Can anyone recommend a good digital camera in the 10 megapixel range that is light weight and slim enough to fit in your pocket? Anyone except the Canon Digital Elph. Had that one before and it's not as slim as I would like it to be (makes a bulge in your pocket). Plus that one got jacked by either the Dominicans or TSA somewhere between POP and MIA International on the return flight. I was smart enough to remove the SD card though :)

But from what I understand anything over 8 megapixels you won't really notice the difference unless you are blowing them up to a wall murell type picture. My camera is 15 megapixels but after experimenting with it I've noticed its the best at slowing down moving objects. If your thinking about upgrading you cell it might be a good idea to get a good camera. Bro I keep my laptop, camera. Cell, passport, and important documents in my carry on bag. POP got me for an 100usd bottle of cologne one time but now they only get old spice. For what you invest in agood digital camera you might be better of investing in agood cell phone, unless you do pro photography.

I posted it in the Gogo forum but no one paid attention. The week after I posted it guys were asking in the Puerto Plata forum what the chics looked like. I've noticed that the key is you can stay with the shot and the camera will catch it. Don't be afraid of moving targets. Just for everyone who thinks I gave up on the Gogo forum, you're wrong. There is a lot of good stuff there but a lot of newbies arent interested in the past. So I will fall back to updated it in a month or so. Thanks to the guys that did support the Gogo forum.
