Works in Medellin, works in Maryland and works in Jakarta. No renewing, no fumbling with SIM cards, one number. And Google customer service is available 24/7 in English should you ever need them. I have tethering to use my phone as a mobile hot spot. I had a minor issue in Peru and Google customer service had me back online in 10 minutes. I understand not for everyone, but for me with an average bill of $25 to $35 a month it is a bargin.

Has anyone visited this area recently? I read that a few of the bars were closed by police but I would like to have a look if it is still in business. Broaden my horizons or just get a new supply of new talent.

I guess some could question why are LDs still payable after paying a bar fine that is designed to compensate the bar for their lost income from forgone drink sales but in reality who cares. When in Rome. . .

Now that I know, I've got no issue with factoring it into the night as long as I'm not petered all night for more drinks, drinks for her friends etc. 😁.

What number would someone say in Bangkok would call to reach you while you were in Bangkok?

If she is a "good" working bargirl, she should keep trying to sell drinks for herself and friends. Yes should go on all night if you stay in the bar. Pay the bill in order to get the requests to stop. Otherwise just decide when to buy drinks yourself and otherwise decline.

Bars are generally not very exciting places to be once you have got your girl barfined and enough drinks into her to loosen her resolve (to be just working) and allow her to get into the sex. So staying there a very long time is not the best idea. Most bars have shitty music, at least for my age, it is mostly not great and too loud. Eye candy available in some bars. Stay long enough to see both sets of dancers then move on. I rarely last more than 1 drink in a bar unless I spotted some interesting talent, or still trying to decide. Shows in bars are crappy these days. Suzie Wong and Sheba used to be the best, and Long Gun in the old days, 10 to 15 years ago.

There, with a girl, I have had some fun nights bar hopping and with a few buddies and a posse there have been some epic nights. Generally the guys enjoy the drinking and eye candy and the girls enjoy catching up with friends that work elsewhere.

Last time I was in Pattaya (admittedly 20 yrs ago 😁 a holding fee could be paid and the girl would wait until a certain time for you to return. Return late after the agreed time and your fee was lost and the girl was free to bar fine anyone. I never was a fan of that as there was always the risk of running late and / or after a few too many beers, forgetting which bar you had to return to.

That said everyone I have met in Thailand has Whatsapp, Viber or Line. I reserve my Pattaya airport transfer through Whatsapp. I'm a world traveler who visits 4 or 5 countries a year. I'd hate to have a number in each country plus my US number. If I was an expat living in Thailand a local SIM might make more sense.

You were saying you liked Shebas in 2010. That was around the time My Place was rockin' and had great shows and great girls. - Long Gun had the ping pong shows. No rip off potential like Patong. Those girls had amazing accuracy with their pussy darts. Probably around 90%. But most of the girls were on the ugly side.
