You don't have to consume hard drinks in the go-go's. Lots of guys are sipping soft drinks or water. Some even order hot tea or coffee, no problem.
Regarding the hookers on Walking Street, if she looks at you and smiles it's a sure sign she's game for action. If you just walk up to her and say hello; you go with me; I give you 1000 baht, that's negotiating like a pro. Don't be shy.
Happy hunting.
Great! Thanks for gearing me up. I really need such tips.
Are there any signs to look for when choosing a girl so as to avoid getting ripped off?
Hey, don't think too much about all this. I also don't drink alcohol when I go out. Just have a water or a soda.
Don't worry about Freelancers, in Walking street there will be many, just smile and talk to all the girls you like. They will tell you the price. Then it's just about Smiling and telling then "come on, I give you xxx" or something like that.
One thing: DO NOT lose your temper, shout, or look violent: this will end up badly for you.
Certainly Not.
Is there any suggested price range for a short time?

As my trip is about to begin in couple of days so please excuse me for all my how's, can's & do's? I really need some info.
Can anyone forward me to reports discussing famous 'The classroom, a go-go bar with accommodation' I really want to get laid with few girls out there.
I mean do they provide FS? And what are the prices like.

Are there any signs to look for when choosing a girl so as to avoid getting ripped off?
Since your are taking a freelancer but no matter who you should always be careful? Don't keep your eggs in one basket meaning don't leave all your money in the room. If you have a safe in the room use it or use the safe deposit boxes in the lobby?
With the crack down on Beach Road, many of the girls who were asking 500-700 baht are walking down to walking street and now asking for a 1000 baht just for short time. Depending on your budget, if she say 1000 counter nicely with 500 baht? Now take a good look as to what you are looking at? My cousin the other night (cousins visiting this time of the year are commom LOL) across from Bacarra struck up a conversation with a freelancer, he ask, she responded 1000, he said 500 baht, she told him look at me? Do I look like 500 baht? I have to admit she did look pretty good? In the end, she came down to 800 baht and agree to go to his place instead of a short time hotel.
Stay away from the girls who look like they are high on drugs, drunk, attitude not too friendly. None of these are full proof but it is a start.
No matter where you sit your butt, you can order coke, Sprite, or just plain water just don't be surprise you will pay as if you are drinking hard liquor?
Wow, If my building manager and security let a lass kick me and did nothing about it, they'd be looking for a job the next day. The job of these assholes is to look after the residents of the place and their security.
From my observation he isn't staying at a nice high end condo like yourself. Many of these places the manager doesn't do anything more than sweeping up and making sure things get fix when broken that is as far as it goes. I was surprise he even came down from the 5th floor to see what was going on?
As for the cops coming, it shouldn't be a surprise they didn't since the majority of them are out sneaking around tht time of the eveing getting their tea money. If they did show up the solution for his problem since he is a farang would have him pay just to take care of the problem, principles wouldn't have play into the situation with the police here!
Sure paying the girl might have just been the best way to handle situation like this in this country but I can also see Mr. E. Side on this! Thais can drive you to doing things you normally might not do in your own country?

LBM
Good valuable report. Thanks LBM.
If she leaves her I'd on the front desk then can she be considered as 100% safe. And will it be OK if ask her about the availability of her I'd while negotiating?
Now how should I go about it without landing myself in trouble. I mean how do you initiate?
Are there any signs to look for when choosing a girl so as to avoid getting ripped off?
With all due respect Andy, you sound very green. I recommend that you stick with the Go Go's at least at first, where everything is easy peasy, until you learn the ropes. Hunting successfully for FL's on Beach Road requires a higher skill level and knowledge base than I think you possess at the present moment. Getting ripped off is one risk. Hooking up with a Kathoey is another. Baby steps Andy. Start with the Go Go's: places like Baccara, Heaven's Above, and Airport where everything is 99. 99% foolproof and nothing can go wrong. The girls are good looking and know how to take care of you. After a few nights in Pattaya, you can try your luck on Beach Road if you want. Chances are you will stick with the Go Go's because the Go Go's have more, better girls although at a higher price obviously. I walk Beach Road from my hotel to Walking Street every night while I am visiting Pattaya. I like the hunt vibe. But, honestly, the number of really attractive do able girls out there is quite low IMHO. Once in awhile I find a diamond. Most of the time, I just keep walking to my favorite Go Go’s.

After Daddy 07, he know the ropes and the knots better than the rest.
No Thai woman taken to a hotel room is 100 percent "safe." Better to have a "decoy" wallet with 840 baht in it to pay her (40 for the MC taxi if you are a gentleman). Remember to keep all your valuables in the room safe in case she slips you a "roofie."
Of course, is "she" slips you a "roofie" and turns out to be a ladyboy, you might find yourself with some pain the next day! Don't be that guy in "Hangover 2."
Have fun & be safe out there, it's a jungle. ;)
If she leaves her I'd on the front desk then can she be considered as 100% safe.
Absolutely NOT! Some stupid Thai female theives are dumb enough to leave copies their I'd cards at the front desk and then proceed to drug and rob their victims, wondering later why they got caught.
Read this and beware:

When in Thailand playing with freelance hookers you have to be careful all the time. I see stories like this time after time. Sometimes they even bring crowbars to the room to pry open safes while their victim remains passed out. Sometimes their victims croak.
With all due respect Andy, you sound very green. I recommend that you stick with the Go Go's at least at first, where everything is easy peasy
I Fully Agree.
In Fact, if I may offer a Piece of advice? It would be better to get your rocks off right when you arrive.
Go to the Devils Den (very reputable business owned and operated by foreigners) http://www.devilsdenpattaya.com/index.php
Have steamy sex and that should clear your head for the night, Make sure you don't barfine the first girl that sits on your lap

Like Daddy said, it happens every week. And what if the ID is not actually her? :
Khun Maree revealed how she met one of the men in front of Royal Garden Plaza on Pattaya Beach. She stressed to him that she was not a prostitute but was offered 800 Baht to accompany the man back to his Hotel room. She accepted the money and went to the Bella Express Hotel, leaving a stolen Thai I'd Card on reception. Inside the room were the two other Bangladeshi's.

The manager of my building threw around the idea of leaving the girls' cards with the security guy, but this being a regular Thai / Falang apartment building and not a hotel that kind of went out the window. Of course I have a copier and a safe in my room, but by this kind of thing happening once every few years it's not worth the trouble to me to bother with doing it every freaking day.

If you reread Mr E's story you will uncover the danger signs before they even got to the room.
